@Tsurii I said the same when comparing the two, but everyone else is under the impression that the visuals in world make it better than it's previous entries, which is laughable given the lack of content in worlds compared to previous MH entries. Capcom is still under the impression that MH players only care about fighting recycled elder dragons over and over again, this is the first MH game where it feels like they focused too much on elder dragons rather than introducing other monsters that aren't elder, plus MH is in dire need of new areas. I literally got tired of playing MHW because of the same old areas and elder recycled dragons.
It's most likely a brand new Onimusha given how they are porting the first one to newer consoles. In fact I am certain it's a brand new Onimusha entry into the series now.
@Tasuki You mean after they had already made their money and only removed them to squeeze what money they could get out of that game while the few hundred people who were still interested in buying it? Doesn't matter, it shouldn't have been there to begin with;/
Don't forget this is WB publishing this, the very same WB that was responsible for that monetized mess known as Middle-earth: Shadow of War! Prepare for more microtransactions and possibly lootboxes in another WB published single player focused game.
Almost every major so-called "triple A" game is now at a discount price. I wonder if it has something to do with terrible quality and being unfinished products while forcing microtransactions into every aspect of said products before pushing said products out the door with game breaking bugs while lacking in basic content for a $60+ price point?!
@jdv95 I feel the same way, I won't even bother with this mess of a release after seeing some of the videos full of glitches and game breaking bugs, and this after the whole "game deleting itself" and then not being able to complete uninstall everything fiasco. I honestly believe Bethesda doesn't want anyone supporting this game, in fact I'm under the impression Zenimax forced Bethesda to create this trash in an attempt to get in on the whole games as a service/monetization trend that's plaguing the triple A industry now.
I find it funny he would mention "modders" in the same interview he mentioned Fallout 76, because we all know that game won't have fan made mod support.
I thought it was funny, just like how I find a villian getting punched in the nuts by Saitama is hilarious. Anyone who watched that video can't say they didn't at least giggle when he tied her up and took her all the way to a deep dark cave just to throw her into a bottomless pit, I was rolling on the floor laughing, and it was my niece who got me to watch the video because she thought it was hilarious as well.
Whoever complained about that video has no sense of humor at all, we all get tired of annoying NPCs at some point.
@Neolit Compared to past FF games FF XV is the absolute second worst FF game out of the franchise, the only good thing about FFXV is it's visuals. The Story is terrible, the characters are just absolutely boring, the villains are horrendous from a design and story perspective, and given what's known about the source material they literally stripped all of its redeeming gameplay features from it since it was first revealed as FF13 Versus, like having more than 4 characters in your team and being able to play as any of them at any time of your choosing. FF13 and XV is what happens when the devs who built up the FF brand leaves the company to go make better rpgs like the Last Story and Lost Odyssey, both by Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi who is the grandfather of the FF series and is the sole reason that franchise is as popular as it is.
@Porco What angers me the most is SE now has control of two of my childhood favorite IPs, Valkyrie Profile and Legacy of Kain, Legacy of Kain hurts the most tbh.
@themcnoisy Square Enix is known to waste millions creating a new engine only to use said engine for one game before wasting more money on a newer more expensive engine. With SE game engines are like TP, one use then it's done, god I truly hate SE now, this used to be my favorite company growing up.
@themcnoisy I wouldn't be surprised if they wasted that money trying to build a newer luminous engine version just for one future project, that's what Square Enix is good for ever since they begun to believe visuals are more important than gameplay. Fun fact to prove this, look at every single SE game released over the past few years and ask yourself this, if the visuals of said games were not as good as they are would those same games be considered fun or even good games. Everyone I asked to do this always came up with the answer no.
I've been telling people for years now Square Enix is one of the absolute worse triple A companies I've ever seen. This company has literally gone out of their way to ignore fans, ruin IPs FFX-2, monetize the living hell out games that shouldn't have been monetized the way they've been (FFXV multiple season passes, Mankind divided augment your pre order), ignoring request for a Secret of Mana collection to be localized, and the list is so damn long that I would need weeks to describe on each one briefly.
Square Enix is not the great company that created great games like Parasite Eve or FFVI and VII, this company is now run by garbage accountants and terrible story tellers who are just absolutely full of themselves every time time they release games like FF13 and XV.
Btw Square Enix ruined two of my favorite IPs, Enix's Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean, especially Valkyrie Profile, they didn't even try to put any effort into that last one.
@toffeecrit If they decided to flesh out their cut content and make a Bloodborne sequel, but with an asian theme, I would lose my mind over that. Sadly though I honestly don't think From Software is working on anything outside of what they have already announced.
Maybe in 2020 we will see a new project from these devs, I doubt we will hear anything from them in 2019 aside from Sekiro and its DLC that year.
@ronb44 I can understand your point and it is a complete product that doesn't need a sequel, but at the same time I will be extremely excited if they did do one or at the very least create a totally different game that is just as interesting as Bloodborne but isn't connected to any of the Soulsborne games. Tbh I just want another ARPG from From Software, I honestly don't care what it is really just as long as it's a new ARPG because they pretty much make the most interesting ARPGs with hidden secrets now.

@JoeBlogs I don't deny that many games today are great, I'm saying I don't bother with greedy publishers who ruin games through their greedy business practices, I'd rather spend my money on games, like Phantom Trigger, Bayonetta, Azure Striker Gunvolt, Octopath Traveler ect rather than waste money and precious time grinding through the crap spewed out by scamming published like EA, 2K, WB, Activision, Bandai Namco or Ubisoft. I absolutely believe games look and play better today than they have in the past, but that's due to the developers and advancement in technology and design. The point I'm making is these companies are completely lying about microtransactions, loot boxes, and even dlc being a requirement in order to stay in business. If developing games meant there was no money to be made then investors would never even be investing in the game industry to begin with. The only time investors are interested is when a market is already profitable, hence why companies like EA, 2K and Activision have enough money to give management, like Patrick Söderlund, a golden parachute as bait to remain at their company to continue screwing gamers over. As much money as they threw away to entice clowns, like Patrick Söderlund, to stay they could easily spend that amount of money releasing a complete game to ensure better sales and pay their devs a better wage, but no they decided to try bribing a scam artist to remain at their company instead.
@Nakatomi_Uk thanks for letting me know about this guy, I literally just subscribed to his channel after watching a few of his videos just now lol:D I'm actually surprised and happy I'm not the only one who think the same way tbh.
@carlos82 I know plenty of people who never buy games like AC because of bad decisions like booster packs and other mtx practices. What these companies and game journalist don't understand is people, like myself and many others, who used to buy games from these Triple A companies no longer buy them because of crap like this, only thing is there are no statistics or charts to show this because these companies don't look at those who stopped buying their games at all, after all you can't count a number if that number doesn't exist.
Gamers who buy into MTX in triple A games today are not the same gamers these triple A companies survived and flourished off of to get where they are now, these companies are literally surviving off of a younger generation that have no clue on how bad they have it when compared to the previous generation, notice how the vocal gamers complaining are the ones who grew up with the snes, N64, ps1, ps2 ect.
The ones who constantly defend mtx and pre release dlc make claims that games are more expensive to make, not realizing everything that factors into why they are much more expensive to develop than they were back then. Software and other programming accessories are actually much cheaper now then they were in the past, disc based media and digital content are a thousand times cheaper compared to then, the only thing keeping game development at a high cost is the management of these companies who earn millions a year for doing absolutely nothing to earn their bloated paychecks, excessive unnecessary advertisement, overly paid CEOs and COOs, and greedy investors whom only concern is a return on the investment they put into a game, just look at how so many companies that earn hundreds of millions every year suddenly can't to pay developers and shut down studios, but yet somehow brag about earning millions in the same year while claiming even without MTX games like BFII won't hurt their bottom line.
These companies earn more than enough to thrive off of even a moderately well selling game, the is and has always been the useless weight know as management, investors and overly expensive ads, that's it.
The only CEO who actually took a paycut and responsibility for their failures was Nintendo's CEO Satoru Iwata, if it were EA, Activision, Blizzard, Ubisoft, WB, Square Enix, Sega, Capcom, Microsoft ect they would shut a studio down and let the crew go before their management ever sacrifices a single cent for their devs. These Triple A companies do not care and they are known to lie at any chance just to make their investors and the management wealthier.
"Are People Ever Satisfied with How Much You Give Them?", let's be clear Insomniac isn't "giving" anyone anything, they are SELLING extra content, that was clearly in development before the game went gold mind you, separate from a recent product for more money, hence it is very reasonable for any gamer to judge said separate priced product. Personally if DLC is being developed before the game goes gold then yes it is cut content from the UNRELEASED and STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT product, period!
Maybe the multiple editions are the reason why it fell off in sales by 26 percent. I know that's the reason why I didn't even bother to buy it. Jim Sterling was completely right about Ubisoft, the moment a spreadsheet is required to decide which version of a single game is worth buying then you're doing something wrong as a video game company.
I played and beat the Immortal with no help, pre existing knowledge or guides, Sekiro will be a walk in a park on a sunny day compared to that hellish nightmare of a game. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Immortal_(video_game)
@NintendoFan4Lyf Not gonna lie if I had to choose it would be the Switch version due to StarFox. I was actually planning on playing only as StarFox tbh but decided to not buy the game at all because of Ubisoft deciding to make the physical version half digital/half physical because they are morons. Not buying the game at all thanks to that decision because I prefer physical thanks to past issues of damaged Nintendo consoles and problems dealing with Nintendo themselves while trying to salvage my digital purchases.
This game looked fun too, too bad Ubi are too cheap of a bunch of idiots and skipped on the larger card sizes.
@Gamer83 It's not just about this game, you do realize these companies only test the waters at first to see what they can get away with right?
If we support this habit more companies will think it's okay to add microtransactions to every game, next thing you know they will mess with the progression system in order to make their microtransactions more appealing, just like they did with BFII. Have you learned nothing from Star Wars BFII and Shadow of War.
If you don't realize what these companies true motives are then you will be just like BFII fans when your favorite game releases and the game is ruined just so these companies can squeeze a few more dollars out of those who bought your favorite game.
It's about the principles of the matter and not getting swindled over a companies greed, not being cheap or a bunch of whiners.
The moment I learned about this I scratched DMC5 off my list. Shadow of War is all the proof I needed to avoid any game with microtransactions, optional or not.
@Splat I know. MH World has the worst looking female armor out of the entire franchise, there are very few armor sets for females in World that look better than the males, like the Kulve and Kirin set.
That is by far the worse selection of ps games anyone could ask for.
How about asking for games that rarely get noticed like
Tobal no2 (most likely won't happen in the west because it's a Japan only release)
Breath of Fire 3
Breath of Fire 4
Beyond the Beyond
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Legend of Dragoon
Parasite Eve
Blood Omen Legacy of Kain
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
Xenogears
Chrono Cross
Panzer Bandit (most likely won't happen in the west because it's a Japan only release)
Battle Arena Toshinden
Battle Arena Toshinden 2
MM Legends
MM Legends 2
Cygame's Project Awakening will definitely fill the fantasy void Capcom left when they decided to avoid ever creating a new and PROPER single player ARPG sequel to Dragon's Dogma. I swear if this game allow climbing on monsters and slaying them similar to Shadow of the Colossus and Dragon's Dogma I'm gonna lose it.
This is why I'm not going anywhere near this game because Activision is publishing it, hence they will definitely screw this game up with BS microtransactions. If from Software is going along with this then I no longer have any faith in them as a developer, they are one of the very few devs I keep an eye out for whenever they announce a new game, but this Activision team crap may end that forever. I will never trust From Software again if they allow Activision to ruin this game with their BS monetization schemes.
"you're damn right we're going to write about someone taking a sh*t at a gaming convention", lol:D It's as if the writer took this sh*t personal the way he wrote it lol:D
"second season pass" for fighting games? really, that's where we are now huh? I don't ever see me playing another fighting game ever again, these games are never a complete product! Does every single f!@#ing game have to be service based now, whatever happened to just finishing development for a game!?
This crap is thanks to Arksystems and their BS excessive need of monetization fighting games.
Are there any fighting games that aren't pulling this character season pass crap these days?
Bethesda doesn't realize how much of a bunch of sadist gamers are, this isn't gonna stop anyone from griefing O_O
In fact it's gonna make it worse now due to fans already being angry about 76 tbw, plus many players are just gonna want to create as much chaos as possible to see how much they can get away with.
When you make stupid rules people will push the limits to the extreme to see what they can get away with and for how long as well, it's apart of human nature plain and simple.
Now imagine after paying for a service if the only way to play games is by streaming them, how can you play them when these companies shut down their services. This is just one of the plethora of problems with online only and streaming services. If you can still defend always online and streaming services after this than there is no helping you ever and you are a lost cause.
FINALLY! Thank god someone over there finally got the message! Just like how anime was popular here for long before these terrible english dubs started plaguing every popular series, Japanese devs don't need to change anything about their games in order to sell them here, just add proper english text to the game and leave the Japanese audio as an option, tbh I prefer only Japanese audio and don't mind if they skip english audio altogether.
Here's a bit of common sense, STOP PRE ORDERING DLC SEASON PASSES! It's not like they can run out of digital codes therefore pre ordering dlc is just idiotic. Pre ordering games is already idiotic, but if you are pre ordering DLC that hasn't even been announced yet, let alone a bundle of dlc that may possibly be canceled, then you really need to rethink your priorities in life.
I honestly thought this game died off already lol. Seriously though, people are actually still playing this after everything the devs and Activision pulled?! Destiny 2 players must really love being tortured if this is true O_O
Looks like we finally get some decent looking armor for females this time in this game. The only other good looking sets that I've seen so far aside from the Dragoon set are the USJ armor and the Kulve Taroth set.
Monster Hunter World have the most terrible looking armor sets within the entire franchise tbh. Don't believe compare the armor sets from MH4U or XX to MHW's selection.
I can name plenty of armor sets from Generations alone that look a thousand times better than anything in Worlds...
Derring Armor
Seregios set
Nakarkos Armor
Nargacuga set
Tetsucabra Armor
Mizutsune armor
Astalos armor
Glavenus set ect...
and I'm not even 5 percent done.
I don't know who designed the armor sets for MHW but they need to bring back the designer for the previous games imo because the armor in MHW look like trash, excluding Kulve, Odogaron, Vaal Hazak, Bazelgeuse, and Xeno Jiiva that is.
They also need to add some new better looking hairstyle as well, I don't understand why game developers choose the absolute crappiest hairstyles for their character customization options, and it's not just Capcom but all game devs that are guilty of this.
If it's online only then I'll pass. I'm tired of being booted out of a game due to losing my connection or some other BS. I'm never going back to the always online crap ever again, I am just sick of it.

I played and beat the Immortal with no help, pre existing knowledge or guides, Sekiro will be a walk in a park on a sunny day compared to that hellish nightmare of a game.

Re: New Monster Hunter: World Quest Rewards Aloy Gamma Armour Set on PS4
@Bliquid Along with a Raven Armor set as well, for research purposes of course O_O
Re: Hands On: Starlink: Battle for Atlas Shows Promise That Could Prove Costly
Re: Devil May Cry 5 Has Microtransactions for Some Stupid Reason
@thedevilsjester Go right on ahead and enjoy, it's your money. All I know is I'm not buying it lol:D
Re: Devil May Cry 5 Has Microtransactions for Some Stupid Reason
Re: Devil May Cry 5 Has Microtransactions for Some Stupid Reason
The moment I learned about this I scratched DMC5 off my list. Shadow of War is all the proof I needed to avoid any game with microtransactions, optional or not.
Re: Monster Hunter: World's Spooky Autumn Festival Is Live on PS4, Nab a Cool Armour Set
@Splat I know. MH World has the worst looking female armor out of the entire franchise, there are very few armor sets for females in World that look better than the males, like the Kulve and Kirin set.
Re: Guide: The Best PSone Games We Want on a PlayStation Classic Mini
That is by far the worse selection of ps games anyone could ask for.
How about asking for games that rarely get noticed like
Tobal no2 (most likely won't happen in the west because it's a Japan only release)
Breath of Fire 3
Breath of Fire 4
Beyond the Beyond
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Legend of Dragoon
Parasite Eve
Blood Omen Legacy of Kain
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
Xenogears
Chrono Cross
Panzer Bandit (most likely won't happen in the west because it's a Japan only release)
Battle Arena Toshinden
Battle Arena Toshinden 2
MM Legends
MM Legends 2
Re: Project Awakening Is a Japanese-Made Fantasy Action RPG Coming to PS4
Cygame's Project Awakening will definitely fill the fantasy void Capcom left when they decided to avoid ever creating a new and PROPER single player ARPG sequel to Dragon's Dogma.
I swear if this game allow climbing on monsters and slaying them similar to Shadow of the Colossus and Dragon's Dogma I'm gonna lose it.
Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's PS Store Page Mentions In-Game Purchases
This is why I'm not going anywhere near this game because Activision is publishing it, hence they will definitely screw this game up with BS microtransactions. If from Software is going along with this then I no longer have any faith in them as a developer, they are one of the very few devs I keep an eye out for whenever they announce a new game, but this Activision team crap may end that forever. I will never trust From Software again if they allow Activision to ruin this game with their BS monetization schemes.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Horror as Fortnite Fan Takes a Public Dump and Leaves It to Stink
"you're damn right we're going to write about someone taking a sh*t at a gaming convention", lol:D
It's as if the writer took this sh*t personal the way he wrote it lol:D
Re: Tekken 7 Season 2 Characters Lei and Anna Launch in September Alongside Huge Gameplay Changes
Re: Bethesda Thinks Fallout 76 Bounties Will Stop Players Constantly Murdering Each Other
Bethesda doesn't realize how much of a bunch of sadist gamers are, this isn't gonna stop anyone from griefing O_O
Re: PSN Down as Users Can't Sign In
Now imagine after paying for a service if the only way to play games is by streaming them, how can you play them when these companies shut down their services. This is just one of the plethora of problems with online only and streaming services. If you can still defend always online and streaming services after this than there is no helping you ever and you are a lost cause.
Re: The West Likes Yakuza Because It Doesn't Pander to Western Tastes, Says SEGA
Re: Pizza Titan Ultra Is the Mech Pizza Delivery Game You Never Knew You Wanted
Judging from that gameplay trailer I'm pretty sure I still don't want it lol:D
Re: Ni no Kuni II's Season Pass DLC Is Nowhere to Be Seen Four Months After Release
Re: Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 Is a Step in the Right Direction, Out Now on PS4
I honestly thought this game died off already lol. Seriously though, people are actually still playing this after everything the devs and Activision pulled?!
Destiny 2 players must really love being tortured if this is true O_O
Re: Okay, That Final Fantasy Behemoth Armour Looks Stupidly Cool in Monster Hunter: World
Looks like we finally get some decent looking armor for females this time in this game.
Re: The Division 2 Campaign and Endgame Can Be Played Single-Player
If it's online only then I'll pass. I'm tired of being booted out of a game due to losing my connection or some other BS. I'm never going back to the always online crap ever again, I am just sick of it.
Re: Rumour: Second Tekken 7 DLC Season Pass Leaked
@rjejr Koei Tecmo, Omega Force, and Team Ninja did the same thing with Hyrule Warriors on the WiiU.
