I haven't seen a comment yet where anyone has said they'll buy it day one at that price.
I could see Sony suddenly dropping it, might even be part of their marketing strategy.

Since you like Alundra so much:
Loved the game when it came out, rented it loads, got to a weird dungeon puzzle I could never solve, called the helpline (expensive) tips never worked.
Thought it was a glitch in that copy.
Bought another pre-rental at a totally different place, same thing.
Ended up buying it for ps3/psp/vita, but have never played it again in case the same thing happens.
Sound familiar, any tips?

Yes, actually, a friend of mine who was studying design at the time pointed it out to me as soon as he saw it, it's a nice touch.
The cover to David Bowie's Black Star album uses a similar trick using cut up black stars to use as the typeface.

I remember when the design leaked, thought it looked cool and still do.
When the retail was shown I loved it and I'm still happy with it.
That said I'd previously had a weird head spin with the PS4 and bought a white drive cover and controller, even though I used to hate any tech that was white previously.
So oddly eased myself into the idea in advance.😀

Very underwhelming, yet another sequel/reboot. Doesn't actually further the overall series story in a meaningful way.

I really thought PS+ Platinum would be the end of demos for plebs. I'm glad to be proved wrong, the more the better!😀

They can go swivel, I was half done with them after Odyssey, totally done now.
Even if it turns out to be untrue and is some subscription thing instead with that and Infinity, it just seems they're always out to con and grift people.

Games companies get greedy and up the price of games, less games get sold and they then complain about less profits and then have to reduce prices, that happened in the 80's with the home computers and with Nintendo and Sega with carts going for £80 or more at one point.
Pretty sure he said about the refusal to have native backwards compatibility in an interview with Official Playstation Magazine.
I haven't said I want him fired, but with all that and the fact he comes across as a cocky unlikable person results in myself and a hell of a lot of other people wanting shot of him and a lot of the decisions he represents.

He has taken responsibility for unnecessary price hikes, when they were already making profit on the PS5 and games.
He previously stated that he was against the idea of adding in native backwards compatibility as their research showed no one wanted to play older games, but also said he thought his job was to make people buy the same game multiple times and has now added older games as a higher tier in Playstation Plus.

Pretty sure he's also been a driving force behind encouraging multiple remakes instead of new IPs.
He doesn't need to be doing things alone to be anticonsumer, there's nothing to show he hasn't pushed against it or done anything to benefit the people who already own the consoles and have previously bought multiple games.

He looks like an alcoholic football manager, has been extremely anticonsumer in word and deed, when he could have struck a balance between appeasing shareholders and existing PlayStation owners but chooses not to.
That's a start.

Hopefully this is sending a message that current RRPs for games are overpriced, and that the remakes/remasters market is oversaturated.

The original and Wolf Among Us were their best games as far as I am concerned - and I'm a massive Monkey Island fan and loved the Sam & Max and Back to the Future games.
Really hope they release it fully on disc though.

Always disagree with online trophies, since you have to pay to go online.

It's great, with new clips popping up more frequently now, was watching Paul Daniels talking about the magic of coding his own burgler alarm, that would turn on a video player to scare off potential thieves earlier 🙄🤣

They begrudgingly allowed deleting of trophies at 0% for people who wanted an accurate record of their gaming, had looked at a game and decided that it wasn't for them.
But some games have trophies that ping just for starting the game, and then if you don't want to play further into the game if you don't like it, you're stuck with it showing 1% or whatever.
It brings down the grade average on things like PS profiles for those of us who care about such things.

And yet they don't allow deleting trophies on games you've tried and don't want to go further with (some hit you with trophies just fer loading the damn thing) or probably the new PS platinum trials (no demos for peasants now)
Yet they still allow this which totally skews normal statistics.

Was wondering how long it would take for this to appear on here.

Oh great! Online multiplayer co-op alarm bells ringing, so much for them tying it into the original.

It's been terrible anyway, doesn't load shows, but the ads play perfectly.

It's almost like these companies expected the lockdown numbers to continue after it ended!

Predicted the see-through mode, but being able to definine the game area is a nice addition.

Origins got me interested in the series again, I had little interest in Odyssey and have stopped playing it for the far better collectathon that is Lego Skywalker Saga.
I've had no interest in touching Valhalla and this doesn't sound promising either.

Is the remake only there to remove stuff Bruce Straley can lay claim to?

Clear the decks I suppose.
They've said there's no interest in revisiting the franchise, so I think it's just to make sure fans can access everything available.

I've had a few crashes to the menu, but nothing as bad as shutting the console down. In my experience it's the most problem free console certainly since the PS3 and maybe even the PSX.

Live service I'm immediately out.

I've honestly no problems if I don't overload the drives and delete and move regularly.
But then I jump between consoles, shows playing the the TV on a PC and various musical instruments as I'm easily distracted, but I'm never left without something to do in the meantime.😁

A remake of a remake goes gold and still expecting patches, yeah that's not part of a continuing plan to make physical copies practically unplayable.
With that and the price gouging I don't know why more people aren't putting their foot down about this.

Well it's now clear it's a sequel, hopefully though, Ever Crisis will satisfy the people watching a straight remake.

Hope Forespoken's development has been a source they've used to expand on in terms of an open world.
