Wild how the best thing from that showcase was a 1 minute trailer for a game we all knew existed with no gameplay or even written gameplay details

Hard to be interested when there was basically nothing being shown. Heck, there isn't even a name.

Why set it during a real war in the marvel universe black panthers from a made up country & the US was sleeping for most of ww2 lol also 4 player co op sounds like another avengers situation to me 🤷‍♂️

It's giving the vibes that we either choose Captain America or Black Panther. The scratches on Captains shield and then that ending sceen looks like they are enemies. 2 vs 2 game maybe

Seems a bit random having these two characters sharing a title but I’m open to learning more about it.

I could think of alot more interesting characters that deserve games besides these two, but ill hold my judgement till we know more.

As for the rest of the showcase Oof that was rough. Almost nothing but mobile trash, but I guess they wouldn't make them if their wasn't idiots out there throwing thousands at there microtransactions filled mobile games.

Please do not be online co-op like Avengers. It’s like they keep scoring own goals while breaking their legs.

That was a strange showcase all in all. This may be the weirdest of the bunch. Like…no information, at all.

@Would_you_kindly Cause in actual Marvel Comic the Black Panther being either T'Chaka and Azzuri assist Cap during the war which is how he actually got his vibranium circle shield.

@Floki I just don't get why you'd have a real world war in a fictional universe like if there were all these superheroes around back then why wouldn't they have stopped the Nazis before they'd killed millions of people 🤷‍♂️

@Would_you_kindly Just cause super heroes exist. Doesn't mean they're gonna be able to just simply stop a massive conflict. They're men, not gods.

Interested? Yes, but have low expectations. I love Amy but we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m thinking 2025-26 release date.

narrative driven ensemble adventure = sounds like it'll be like a Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League(?).

Cap & Black Panther feels like a rather strange pairing for this game and especially one set in WW2. Hopefully it will be good.

Seems to me more like Netflix adaptation... so it is huge NO! to this game. Better focus on Midnight Sun.

@Would_you_kindly Captain America was literally the "first avenger" born from a real war as a modified soldier... The only hero of that era is kind of his whole schtick, isn't it? And they can tack on Black Panther because it's a passed down mantle for generations from a country that hid itself from the world. So they are the only ones that really fit that era.

And why set it then? Because of Hydra, I assume. The supernatural science Division of the Nazis. It makes for an interesting enemy, I imagine.

In fact I'd actually be interested in this game if it was simply called "Hydra" or something with Hydra in the name, and had the hydra symbol as the only thing on the cover. I'm not particularly bothered about Captain America or Black Panther. But an interesting enemy could make the game good.

Can immediatly tell this is the Amy Hennig game. I'm instantly captivated and intrigued. What an interesting setting seeing not only the hero personas but the regular ones.

That trailer felt more like an Indiana Jones trailer than Cap and Black Panther, but I’m certainly intrigued.

Unless the game has 4 player co-op I genuinely don’t know why they’d have 4 playable characters. Everyone is only going to pick Black Panther or Captain America, unless it’s going to be similar to Gotham Knights in the way that game is going through things. TBH I don’t like these types of announcements as all they say is the studio is making this game without delivering any substance about what we will actually be doing.

Out of topic, but PSN servers are down for past 2.5hr with no timetable for them to come back

More marvel…. So boring. In a few years all we will have is Star Wars and Marvel games. Disappointing

Nothing to go on, nothing to get excited over. That said, a narrative open world Captain America game set in the 40’s where you basically infiltrate and sabotage ***** and use your powers in special ops could be kinda cool. That’s almost for sure not what we’re getting though.
