Silent Hill F Revealed by Konami, But Who Knows What It Is

No clue what this is all about but really cool getting the Higurashi writer on board!

I have no idea what this is and I have no idea if it's going to be good or not, but I LOVED this trailer. Beautiful piece of atmosphere.

I'm getting strong Fatal Frame vibes with this, should be interesting though having it based in Japan.

And with the writer of Higurashi on board it's going to be dark.

Higurashi is excellent, so whatever it is, I'm sure the story will be the best part of it.

Well no clue except generic creepy Fatal Frame vibe. We are years away from playing it though... Looked kind of cool.

@feral1975 One of the devs Neobards Entertainment was a support studio for a bunch of the Resident evil games. Pretty sure this is a game.

Fair enough, would have been happy enough with a film, but considering how horrific Higurashi can be it would be interesting, they might be throwing everything at the wall and see what sticks in this day and age, psychological horror or just plain nasty stuff.

Ryukishi07 being the writer is kinda cool. I think this is the only interesting thing to come out of that 40 min video.
But it's just CG, and studio is kinda nhe..... who know's when this is coming out....probably in 2025.

So Silent Hill Frame? No but really, coming from the same person who wrote Higurashi, I'm intruiged

Isnt this the 6th game in the main series? F is the 6th letter in the alphabet, so probably just a codename so far. Mindblowing if konami really chose to go with the support-studio for Re:Verse as the real main developer. Killed all the hype for me and seals this as a AA game at best.

I'm actually way more interested in this than Bloober Hill 2. Although NOTHING about this screams Silent Hill to me. Just looks like Japanese horror (which I'm fine with).

I'm actually watching through the Higurashi anime series at the moment with some friends (we just started Kira, which was... a mistake). As bad as it is at times, I'll give the writer this: the broader plot is EXTREMELY interesting.

then watch higurashi (2007) aka the answer arc to answer all your question

then watch gou and sotsu thats the 2020 version aka season 3 & 4
this a sequel not a remake alot of peopke got confused so they didnt watch it

theres also 1 ova u need to watch its a 40-50min anime

this is probably konami's take on shin megami tensei if that will give way to a spinoff

@Ralizah ok the og is still the best no competition, gou and sotsu not on the same level but still good and it has alot of changes, u will be surprised whos the villain on s3 & s4 so keep watching xd

Great trailer! I don't usually play horror games but might make an exception for this one.

So...you start walking down an alley and plant tendril looking things start to grow along the walls. The further down the alley you go they start trying to reach out and snatch you like a Black Friday special. Why wouldn't you turn around?
