Played Shadow already. No interest in Maneater. Greedfall is a maybe but seems a little dull.

I really like several (but not all) Housemarque titles. I am not a fan of rogue-likes. Perhaps most importantly, it looks too busy/fast for me to follow in places. I think I will pass on this one or wait for an extreme discount.

@TG16_IS_BAE You’d have to think it would be crazy of Sony not to, right? If From weren’t willing to (and I still hope they are), I wonder if Team Ninja or Bluepoint would be able to do it justice?

I hope Keighley was paid a LOT to wear those blue high top sneakers with a suit. What a cad.

@TG16_IS_BAE I didn’t like it much at first, but it grew on me after a second try a year later. I’d love it if they made more good Soulsborne games instead, though.

I can’t see how anyone could rate this show any better than “poor”. Keighley’s shoes alone were a fiasco, and nothing of note was announced except Perfect Dark.

@thefourfoldroot I mean, it IS a PS Store sale. They are generally good deals for digital games; no more, no less.

Absolutely no interest. Looks like the kind of world I would never want to be exposed to in any way.

@rjejr @gamer83 Yeah, I kinda root for the Rangers, but I am not much of a hockey guy. I guess I tended to go for the teams in blue and orange (or blue and red) as a kid, which coincidentally are the official NYC colors. Also, the Yankee fans were arrogant mental/emotional bullies in my school, so that pushed me further away from any chance of rooting for them as a kid (ironically, the only World Series game I have been to is a Yankees one, in 1978 or 1979; I can't recall which). I also root for the Jets and Nets, but more peripherally. Baseball is my true sport as a fan.

@TG16_IS_BAE Yep. Regarding the two specific games you mentioned, I'm not a fan of rogue-likes, so Dead Cells was out, and Hollow Knight felt too floaty for me.

@TG16_IS_BAE Ha that's exactly what I do with metroidvanias.

@ShogunRok I think that's partly because the game is largely a walking/running simulator in-between FAR too many cutscenes, with some battles mixed in. It's just not that good and isn't what many of us hoped it would be.

I picked "rarely", as there is no option for "some" (for reasons I don't understand). I try some of them, few do I play through.

My backlog goes back to Atari 2600 (still haven't beaten Private Eye, among others). lol

I have no interest in any of these, except Space Invaders, which is fine, as I have plenty to play.

I'm not keen on Cyberpunk, and I have a feeling it will be a letdown to many anticipating it, unfortunately.

Yeah, I went essentially all digital before the end of PS3’s generation. I only buy From Software games on disc, and that may change.

@TG16_IS_BAE Disagree. I played it my first time as Royalty and was practically getting one-shotted by the very first enemies in 1-1. Switched to Priest and 1-1 was almost a cakewalk. My daughter also found Knight a lot easier. Strength, endurance, and vitality are easy mode. Good armor helps tons too. I know some say Royalty is easy mode but there are others who agree with me (just see above me for one example).

@Gremio108 Agreed. Playstyle is everything and can determine which class you play best with.

@TG16_IS_BAE That’s overrated. You need defense so you can take more than one or two hits from even weak enemies. You start with good armor and build endurance. That’s actually easy mode. You can add the magic later for ranged attacks.

If you start with a class with decent armor and make sure when you level you add endurance to get in plenty of hits, you’ll do well to start. Get some soul arrows once magic opens up, and you’ll be all set. Grind for leveling to build your defense.

@Jaz007 I was talking about selling it online to tens of people and assumed you were, as well. But yeah that's still unethical or immoral, it's just degrees. That's why it's dangerous. One step leads to another.

Absolutely the best, hands down (literally).

2020, simply because of Demon’s Souls. For me, that game is better than GoW, Spidey, Last of Us, and Horizon Zero Dawn COMBINED (and I liked all of those).

Lambert made that movie. Great choice.

Very fun game, but the rubber banding with the AI drives me nuts.

Who was it on here that a few months ago was saying that Demon's Souls wasn't going to be a big time launch title for PS5?

This is an incredible set of games. If you never had a PS4, it's a PS5 system seller, and it's worth way way more than $60 per year of PS Plus.

I have launch day off, as well as Friday, but my console isn't even shipping until launch day; my bet is it arrives Saturday evening. I start a block of nine straight days of work on Saturday night, meaning I won't get to do anything more than set the console up, if that. Who knows, my PS5 might not even arrive until Monday. Yeah, sucks to be me. lol

@get2sammyb I know you prefer the new face, but weren't you the one who mentioned you thought Aloy from H: ZD was super attractive? Clearly we have different tastes.

"We hope you look forward to it" has 24 letters, so I am predicting it is out in 24 months OR is delayed to 2024 OR will feature a remake in 24 years.

I don’t play Ubisoft/EA/Activision games but have planned from the start to keep my PS4 plugged in and suggest others do the same.
