This is a good month for me, Weird West puts it over the top.

Pretty solid. Farming Simulator is a banger on PC, not sure how it translates to a controller.

I’ve been using the Gulikit controller for Switch and PC, which has Hall effect sticks. It’s been great so far. I will probably pick this up, I prefer asymmetrical layouts.

Bethesda’s best output is well and truly behind it

Dragon's Crown Pro is probably the only interesting game to land on Premium so far

D4 is like a movie set version of the game it says that it is. It seems like it’s all there initially, but the further you get into it, you realize it’s all chipboard and being held together by some tape and twine. I’m sure if you paid for a couple seasons and yearly DLC’s, you might have a full game on your hands, some 200-300$ later…

What are people on about with Dreams? All they’ve announced is that they’re ending updates, every feature still works, doesn’t it? Another solid month.

Able bodied people commenting on the value and design of this thing is the biggest face palm I’ve seen on the internet in at least 3 minutes.

This is the state the game should have been in at launch, not after people have had time to bring multiple characters past level 50. It's not so much the content of the patch, but rather the timing of it. People are rightfully pissed in my opinion, the game has no meaningful endgame so instead, everything will just take longer. I expect the anger to increase after tomorrow's stream, when they tell everyone how they're listening but don't plan to do anything about it.

I had fun with this game, but they really sucked the life out of it with the latest patch, my sorcerer build was barely hanging on as it is, now it's borderline useless. I feel like they want the base game to feel like poopoo so you participate in the seasons, but I'm not going to bite.

@Tatarimokke if it's anything like the first one, you can play solo but it's a LOT harder, that was my experience with the game anyways

What an unexpected collection of words and images.

My guess is this game was developed solely with Game Pass in mind. Keep the production costs low, slap it on Game Pass, charge full price on other platforms, etc.

I’m super into Diablo 4. It is way better than I thought it was going to be.

I mean, It Takes Two won GOTY at The Game Awards, it’s an absolutely stellar game. The Ascent is decent multiplayer fare. Undertale is amazing. Melty Blood is amazing. Two Twisted Metal titles. How is this NOT a great month?

I’m knee deep in this game right now and having a ton of fun with it. The open world design, the MMO-lite mechanics and improved boss battles really do a lot to elevate this game above the rest of the series.

Best game in the series by a country mile, in my opinion.

I’ll be curious to know the sales numbers when the dust settles on FF16. The franchise is still a tough sell to the people this ad is targeting.

Cool, tons of American history there. I am a big Charley Pride fan, and prior to being a country singer he played in the Negro American League. Him and his brother were historically drafted into MLB teams as recognition for their achievements. Texas Rangers drafted Charley while the Colorado Rockies took his brother Mack.

I had a really good time with the first one, I’m excited to see what they’ve come up with.

Enjoyed it more than MH:W, especially when playing with friends. Amazing game, amazing series.. man, Capcom just knows what they’re doing these days.

@Tharsman It wasn’t meant as a derogative term necessarily and I don’t agree that every game type is formulaic. We have genres, and genres have tropes, conventions, etc etc. There are games that play it safe and follow the conventions of their genre very closely and games that take risks and departures. One is not necessarily worse than the other, it is just about taste. I am personally just less interested in conventional, regardless of genre. I had the same level of disinterest for GOW:R.

I have yet to see anything that has got me excited for this one. I was so sick of the first one by the time I rolled credits that finishing it felt like a chore. The only thing not by the numbers about that game is the traversal. “Bigger, more” just doesn’t do anything for me. Glad people are still interested in these formulaic open world games though, you’ll get your money’s worth on this one by the sounds of it.

TOTK has me absolutely hooked atm. Diablo IV might be next, we shall see. I’m potentially curious about FF but I’ll need to see reviews. I haven’t enjoyed an FF game in many, many years, but this one looks like it might shake up the formula enough to get me interested.

I think in tough economic situations, subscriptions are the first to go when belt-tightening. They add up so quickly.

Maybe it’s a cynical thought, but what else is missing at launch?

Fans SHOULD be happy about it being an actual game and not some tagged on activity like the rest of the half-baked fluff in Hogwarts Legacy.

Money is the real problem in American politics. They want everyone to think there’s some big divide along racial, social, etc. when really it’s just about the money.
