Re: Don't Expect Assassin's Creed Valhalla to Run at 60 Frames-Per-Second on PS5

banacheck

I guess the game was in development for sometime now made for both XboxOne/XboxOne X/PS4 & PS4 Pro, and that's the problem. Because the game was always targeting 30fps from the get go, so I can see why it's a port with a few extra bits that will naturally take advantage of the SSD. that's 6 console versions 7 including PC, until games are made solely for next generation consoles your not truly going to see what these consoles can do.

@GADG3Tx83

Like others have pointed out no MP. I haven't seen most of the footage been keeping away from it, and will not go to TLOU videos or even look at comments on Playstation Videos don't want it spoiled. Anyone need help with trophies or achievements if I've got the game which is most likely on Playstation, I'll help you with them even if I already have them.

@TheBuzz
I like MW but going back too Blops4 just shows how different the CODs are, I like them both. I love the Zombies mode the best, I deleted MW to make room for a new game I got at the time but that 200GB is putting me off downloading it again. But I will at some point

Re: Rumour: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Release Date Set for October

banacheck

It's highly likely PS5 version will be free like XSX, especially with the PS4 install base. It's very likely this next generation popular XSX games will keep a price tag of £25 upwards, Sony could do the same. You can see this now on the Xbox store, Black Ops 1 or 2 is £39.99 if you want to buy it today some others are £25.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 322

banacheck

Going to play Streets Of Rage 4 (PS4 Pro), Shadow Of The Colossus on New Game+. Just got MGS HD collection & MG Rising for just under £8, had to buy them not only to do all the achievements but amazing games. Silly you can only buy BC games with CC when I have £52 in my wallet, I have a lot of games to get through both on PS4 & XboxOne X.

Re: PS5 Game Case Cardboard Mock-Ups Are Surprisingly Stylish

banacheck

I know when I buy physical game's I don't take the disc out & throw away the plastic box, I am not sure anyone one is. Buying games in cardboard boxes I am not really sure how that'll save plant earth, while at the same time ignoring other parts of the planet that are a lot worse.

Re: Twitter Isn't Too Happy About This Clip of The Last of Us 2 Gameplay

@morrisseymuse Is that some how supposed to be offensive? News flash not everyone cares about politics, but cannot help notice a certain group of people says some very strange stuff. And trying to effect your rights and not for the better, and ironically the same people who call others bigoted are the ones (in my country anyway) who have been under investigation for racism.

Re: PS5 Is Coming Sony Insists, As Official Website Is Updated

banacheck

Definitely picking a PS5 at launch, China is almost back on it's feet now. Japan is next to China yes? So how have they managed hardly any infections from COVID 19, but Italy is on its knees. I am picking up a XSX also but probably a year later, mainly because I'll be able to play exclusive's like Halo Infinite on my XboxOne X.

Re: Will PSN Be Restricted to Save on Internet Bandwidth?

banacheck

COVID 19 is a lot more dangerous than the flu for the simple fact it's highly contagious, you can be infected for 14 days and not know you've got it. Some people have a mild dose and are not very ill but it can effect other people badly, a 28 year old man who was very active running etc. It put him into hospital on a ventilator because he couldn't breathe for himself, sit up and was coughing up blood, he is better now but could have a long lasting effect because it scared his lungs or something. So imagine that in a already ill or old person, longs cases like this while bad but doesn't kill would overwhelm the hospitals. Like Italy and 800 or 600 deaths in a day, this isn't a joke.

Re: Will PSN Be Restricted to Save on Internet Bandwidth?

banacheck

I know where this has come from now a journalist called Rik Henderson, who also calls himself a "Gaming Expert" among other things. For a so called Gaming Expert he has very limited knowledge about the games he is talking about, instead from what I've seen talks about streaming 4K Films, Netflix etc. He did an article how companies like BT should limit gamer's bandwidth because according to him it's online games that'll take up all the bandwidth, but at the same time its ok to streaming 4K film, watching Netflix. He was quoted by the Daily Mail who also did a similar article, but strangely or are just outright uneducated don't tell you Online gaming take's up very little bandwidth especially compared to Streaming 4K films or Netflix's. Who's paying them? Hollywood, because an actor twitted this very same article asking gamers to act responsible.

Re: Nintendo Putting Pressure on Sony to Remove Dreams Creations on PS4

banacheck

Lol someone is picking up Dreams for it's tools & MM Games, no ones buying Dreams for a fan made ( unprofessional ) Mario level. I am amazed Nintendo took this long. And Sony taking down LBP Restitched on PC is a lot different to not even a fan made level, and these so called fans making LBP are in a total different league to gamers that haven't got a clue about Game development.

Re: Guide: PS5 Price - How Much Will PlayStation 5 Cost?

banacheck

Both Sony & Microsoft will eat the cost and make that up through software & services, and later into this generation when manufacturing cost will become cheaper. I reckon the PS5 will cost around £449.99 & XSX will be around £500-£549.99 max, I don't see either costing more than £500 myself.

Re: PS5's 3D Audio Could Quietly Be a Game Changer

banacheck

This technology is definitely taking gaming to the next level, I don't think people understand what it is but it goes far beyond anything on the market right now. Graphics are at a point and especially going into next generation, are at a point it immerses you into the game. Rainfall in games right now sound flat there is no real depth to sounds on games, you cannot pinpoint the sound in a game. Now imagine you can pinpoint the sound in a game but not only that, if it starts to rain you can hear that rain hit the floor all round you like your actually outside in rain. And you don't need specialized hardware, your PS5 does it for you hence 3D sound.

Re: Reaction: PS5 Deep Dive Was As Expected, But Was Shockingly Misjudged

banacheck

Console logic 12 is a bigger number than 10 so 12 must mean better, in reality there is a lot more to it than just Teraflops. It's a buzzword, PR stunt hence why it's used. The 825GB SSD is totally, again haven't got a clue about how the HDD in Xbox & PS4 has held back devs. These customised SSD's are the biggest jump this generation, they are going to be game changers far beyond loading times.

"I can't keep doing this. I'm getting older. I can't stay and work all night.’”

Quite the job then. You obviously already knew what the entails, so why on earth would you take the job? A lot of people work at lot harder for a lot less, and don't get to sit on your ass all day.

Re: Ex-Guerrilla Producer Rips Butthurt PlayStation Fans Over Horizon PC Port

banacheck

Drop your over priced games at launch especially downloadable games, where as on PC almost half the price we pay on console. Drop paying to play online, drop making console players pay for remastered games they already own then giving to PC players who already own the game have it for free. Otherwise stop milking console plays, because I can guarantee PC players will not be paying £49.99-£54.99 for that very same game.

Re: Sony Cancels GDC 2020 Appearance Amid Coronavirus Concerns

banacheck

I don't think people understand how serious the COVID 19 is, Hong Kong & WHO have already stated that if the COVID 19 isn't brought under control the Coronavirus 'could infect 60% of global population. It's also not just the likes of the gaming industry that's been effected, iphone, jaguar etc. A country doesn't build a hospital in under ten days because of flu like system's, that only happens when the poo has hit the fan.

Re: Rumour: Expensive PS5 Parts Could Force Sony to Set Price Point Above $450

banacheck

I think it's very safe to say both Sony & Microsoft will take a loss, and make that up on software & services. And that will still be nothing like the losses them two took in the PS3/Xbox360 era, they lost billions between them. Sony losing $300 on every unit sold, hence why both dropped exotic architectures for X86. I think the PS5 will be between $399.99 - $449.99 max.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Latest PS4 Patch Is a Ludicrous 51GB in Size

banacheck

Next generation with the SSD you'll see game file sizes go down as well as patches, HDD has moving parts which can only picked up so much data on each pass. So devs have been using techniques as duplicating data hence why you've see game file sizes this generation exploded, Mark Cerny isn't kidding when saying the SSD are the biggest game change's this generation. It isn't just about loading times your going to see games that where never possible last generation because of the slow HDD, Guerrilla Games wanted a section where you could fly in Horizon Zero Dawn it wasn't possible because of the the slow HDD & CPU.
