After spending far, far too long talking amongst themselves, developer People Can Fly finally got around to showcasing the first slice of gameplay for Outriders. The game is headed to both PlayStation 4 and Sony's next-generation PlayStation 5 at the end of this year, making the title you see above more than likely one of its launch games. In essence, it looks a lot like Destiny with gear rarity, customisation, loot, and an endgame.

You'll be able to play as one of four classes -- those being the Trickster, Pyromancer, and Devastator. The fourth is being kept secret for now, but each comes with its own set of abilities, perks, and powers. The third-person shooter ships with a character creator, town spaces where you can interact with other characters, and vendors selling items and armour to upgrade your build. It is not an open-world title, rather restricting its co-operative focused action to fast travel points and hub areas much like Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The gameplay reveal itself was rather lacklustre. We can't claim to be particularly impressed by what we saw, but then we weren't one of the media outlets lucky enough to get their hands on the game in the previous weeks. What do you make of the six-minute slice of action? Pick your class in the comments below.
