Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts on Call of Duty as a Whole?

banacheck

COD WW2 is definitely getting back on form after the last three space COD's, this is much better. And apparently Tryarch's COD will also be boots on the ground set in 2018, a modern day COD. Haven't tried the campaign just yet been playing Multiplayer & Zombies, it just feels a lot better more grounded over the last lot. Zombies is a lot darker over Tryarch's Zombies, i also like the different types of Zombies that keep you on your feet. They've definitely have brought the horror back to Zombies, the story is also very interesting also it almost feels believable as Hilter did do some strange stuff.

Re: Maybe Don't Buy Star Wars Battlefront 2 at Launch

banacheck

They did it last Xmas or the one before that, brand new games that came out in November & before got discounts pretty big ones two. I'm sure it was also part of Sony's 12 weeks of discounts before Xmas, anyway there will be some good discounts in December on new games on the PSN.

Re: Bungie Is Looking Into Improving Destiny 2's Endgame

banacheck

I'm max level 305 on all my three characters, almost have every exotic & legendary's. While being a good game a lot better than the original Destiny at launch, that's the problem Bungie made Destiny 2 better than the original game while forgetting the three years worth of improvements via DLC. Bungie knows very well Destiny 2 lacks a endgame, I hope their plan is too not sell it back too us via DLC which I think that is what will happen.

Re: Poll: Are You Enjoying Destiny 2?

banacheck

Destiny was alright but not amazing especially at launch, the world design was good but very linear. Story wise it was awful so playing through the campaign on a harder difficulty or doing Nightfalls, was good with a friends but can stale solo. Destiny 2 however definitely blow's Destiny away, story wise, world design blows Destiny away, the amount of stuff to do. The worlds in Destiny 2 are all unique with a great colour template, the detail and how open the worlds are with loads of hidden areas. Obviously you can now see why Destiny doesn't look now way near as good as Destiny 2, and that was because of last gen consoles. The strikes are a lot better too, the Raid you can already tell is going to be brilliant. And the characters now have personalities and everything feels a lot more alive, lore is actually in game on exotic's in the world. The coming weeks there is a lot to do and still coming, I also feel Destiny DLC will actually be worth it this time and a lot bigger.

Re: PSN Down For Some as Destiny 2 Servers Struggle on PS4

banacheck

Both PSN and Destiny 2 have been fine for me, but my friend lost connection on D2 a few times. But thats because his boradband is rubbish and he is getting fiber later this month, so some of the issues is obviously people with not so hot boradband. Boradband nowadays is the new dial-up, fibe is where its at for online gaming.

Re: Destiny 2 Butchers Shaders for the Sake of Microtransactions

banacheck

I personally like the new shader system apart from being one use, but like i said above thay are not rare. Microtransactions shouldn't really be in a full RRP AAA game anyway, but obviously people are buying them so thay are here to stay no matter how much you hate them. But in Destiny 2 these Microtransactions don't affect gameplay so it isn't as of a big deal, especially towards Paragon that has added Microtransactions that directly affects gameplay but you don't see articles on this.

Re: Destiny 2 Butchers Shaders for the Sake of Microtransactions

banacheck

The shader system is a improvement over Destiny for the fact that you can now shader each piece of armour, ship, sparrow etc. Over Destinys one shader for all your armour now you can make your Gardian even more unique, the only problem is a shader has one use. But your given a lot of shaders just by playing, i've just reached level 20 and have quite a few shaders. I'm using them on the amour i'll be keeping like legendary armour.

Re: Push Rewind: Did Destiny Deliver in the End?

banacheck

Destiny failed but succeed in other areas, Destiny story lore failed big time. Destiny has deep lore but a lot of people don't know that because thay never found the hidden ghosts, then looked it up on a website for the lore. Destiny 2 fixes this by having every bit of lore in-game, Destiny was a good game but not a brilliant one. When you consider 50% of the player base never did a raid one of Destinys main end game content, thats half of its player base. Destiny 2 again thankfully fixs this for people that have got 5 friends or in different times zones, like i said before Destiny 2 is the game Destiny should have been. Another thing Destiny did was lock people out of content if thay never got the DLC, liked strikes tough you never got the new DLC so you'll be locked out until we add a legacy option.

Re: Microsoft Would 'Love' to Work with Sony on Major Minecraft Update

banacheck

Sony doesn't have a problem with cross-play that why i'm playing with PC Players every day on Paragon, if Sony had a problem with cross-play that wouldn't be possible. Not only that Sony has the most games with cross-play with PC Players, over both Microsoft & Nintendo. Microsoft wants cross-play for its own agenda not because it for the players, otherwise thay would have a lot more games with cross-play.

Re: Gran Turismo Sport May Be in for a Tough Ride

banacheck

This is the scary part give it another 10-15 years time their will be no single-player games, with every game being a service. Microsoft has already said thay worry for single-player games, and was taking about games being a service. Sony will probably keep doing single-player games while doing a game as a service, as long as people buy them that is.

Re: Talking Point: Has Sony Mastered the PlayStation Store Sale?

banacheck

God knows why people still think PlayStation Now is for backwards capability. It has nothing to do with backwards capability and everything to do with where the gaming industry is heading. I'll give you a clue you will not be buying hardware every so meny years, as their will be no hardware.

And to prove this its already started with Microsoft exclusive games on PC. For some odd reason some people think by not buying a XboxOne but playing the exclusive games on PC their are hurting Microsoft somehow. Which is nonsense as Microsoft doesn't care if your buying a XboxOne or not as long as your buying their games, which is where the money is unlike hardware. In fact it was hardware that lost both Sony & Microsoft millions last generation, something like PlayStation Now is where the industry is heading a hardwareless service.

Re: Bungie Hopes People Will Complain About 'Too Much Story' in Destiny 2

banacheck

I think people seem to forget why Destiny 1 was a mess in the first place, 7 years worth of story canned because Bungie wasn't happy with the final version of the story. For a story that was made in 12 months thay didn't do a bad job, don't you remember characters in trailers for Destiny that wasn't even in the game?
http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731

Destiny 2 will be very different story wise other wise a proper story because thay've work on this story a lot longer than 12 months.

Re: Why Didn't Sony Show Any Indie Games at E3 2017?

banacheck

@CB7Tuner91 But there is about another 50 million who buy consoles for AAA titles. Thats been proven time & time again with indieStation meme & PS+ worthless its just indies etc. People must have very short memories if you cannot remember the stick Sony got.

Re: Guide: PS4 Games Release Dates 2017

banacheck

Metal Gear Survive is now confirmed for early 2018 as its got a delay, its got a single player campaign & that survival mode thay showed off. Metal Gear Survive is going to flop by some of the hands-on impressions i've read one said it felt like a undercooked PC mod, but thay've only played that survive horde mode its also £48 on Amazon UK. It sounds like a cash-in on the Metal Gear Solid name to me what ashame RIP.
