Devs from Naughty Dog, Insomniac, More Talk Dreams in New Video

Professionals praise Media Molecule tools

You're probably bored to tears of us gushing about Dreams every now and again, but it remains a super impressive bit of software. While we think it's worth your time, what do professional game developers make of the toolset? Some of the folks at various Worldwide Studios developers have piped up for this new promo.

It's obviously just a trailer, but it's still interesting to hear from the likes of Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and Pixelopus about PlayStation 4's create-em-up exclusive. Several team members from the aforementioned studios talk about overcoming the fear of the blank canvas by focusing on what you're passionate about, trying things out, and realise there are no right or wrong answers.

It's good advice. Dreams has a lot of depth and can be a tough nut to crack, but persevere and you may surprise yourself with what you create.

If ps plus subscribers would receive it in the monthly games in the near future, that would be indeed great for the players and the creators.

I love Dreams too. I've played a bit of it the gameplay part & done some of the tutorials, but I am finishing Death Stranding first then going back to it and doing nothing else but that. Because there is definitely a learning curve like learning all the tools, I already have a few gameplay ideas.

What exclusives? Sony has no exclusives but timed exclusives. Ps5 is already dead in the waters.

Sony really need to bundle this with PS5 imo.

Not that they need to, just that they should so everyone can experience it and to build the community...

Isn't strange that Sony never ask a Japanese developer their thoughts. Go to show the value they have toward Japan.

@Dodoo Actually no I was very excited when the ps4 was released been with ps since ps1. But the new way of releasing exclusives to other platforms makes not want to buy a ps5. Already the ps5 has no exclusives. You think GOW or Horizon Zero Dawn 2 will be just a ps5 exclusive? Don't count on it..already Last Of Us 2 maybe heading to pc as well. Rumors are going around that GOW 2018 is heading to pc in the future. What I don't get about Sony's business decisions is the censorship policy its ridiculous so that's strike one, strike two is that timed exclusives from their own studios why even buy Insomniac then makes little sense if they were going 3rd party now. And strike three is Sony is fine with mod support for their exclusives on pc but on a Sony console is a big fat no? Already Ps5 is not very hyped at the moment for me at least.
