This may be the first COD game I buy since World at War.

If the deal goes through it will be the last time COD is on a PS console, period. It makes no sense for MS otherwise.

We just go from dissapointment to dissapointment with Atlus, lately. I think we can confirm by now that the Persona anniversary sucked big time and was just a greedy cash-grab from them. I think there was only one game announced from the "9 MYSTERY PROJEKS!!!"

Synduality was a nice surprise. My interest was definitely picked by that one.

MS obviously didn't like how the PS4 totally dominated the past generation so they do this anti-competition deals to buy publishers because that is the only way they can compete with Sony.

Personally I frankly don´t care. I have touched COD since World at War. I tried Warzone for like a minute: boom. Dead before I even touched the ground. Then the game tells me I was hacked. HACKED! LOL! The match hadn't even started. Uninstalled. Bonus: Tons of hd space.

Imo the only good COD was the first one and its expansion Allied Offensive.

Tbh my excitement went down a notch knowing it doesn't have the upgraded gunplay of part 2.

I got the remake free with a PS4 bundle so I have no problem splurging for this one if it has the modernized gameplay of Part 2.

@HeeHo Its outdated because open world games have been doing the same things for the last 15 years. The genre is in dire need of innovation.

And if past experience is any indication the eventual DLC (or DLCs) will make the game even better.

I'd actually like to see From go back to Armored Core.

I played every Borderlands but 3 and I can agree Tales has the BEST story. I have fond memories of it and is not even that old.

The difference is Sony creates most of its exclusive content with first parties or through partnerships, Microsoft just buys titles and studios because they haven't been able to set up a decent "Microsoft Games Studio" in 20 years.

Day one stoy DLC is just greedy.

@Ooccoo_Jr The audience makes him king. Most publishers and devs prefer the convenience he provides in the post-E3 world.

It's the only thing these days that comes close to causing the same excitement as an E3 Big 3 conference day. Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all pulling out the big guns plus dozens of show-stoppers coming out of nowhere. E3 was great...

@mrtennis1990 Talent-wise no problem, it's Microsoft's deep pockets that makes this an almost impossible uphill battle.

IMO this is the reason they bought Bungie. Destiny is the only game to can even come close to posing a minor challenge to COD.

Last COD game I bought was World at War way back in the PS3 era but I'm a little intrigued with what they'll do with Warzone 2.0

With a new Dragon's Dogma on the way, a new Street Fighter and the obvious follow-up to Monster Hunter World, Capcom's best selling game ever, I think it's safe to guarantee this streak will continue.

Franchise revival wishlist: Dino Crisis, Power Stone, Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, Strider, Breath of Fire, Megaman Legends (Man, Capcom has a treasure trove of IPs to rival Nintendo)

Can't help but think of the new Saints Rwoke. I hope I'm wrong but this Rockstar from the last decade doesn't inspire much confidence.

Well, its looking better than the first trailer and that harpy-looking monster was pretty awesome. Would've preferred they kept the sidescroller RPG style tbh but this is better than nothing I guess.

Getting this just to show support for a never-happening DarkStalkers 4. Capcom could at least give us an all-star fighting game without needing to crossover with another IP.

Well, the Persona 25th anniversary has been a MASSIVE letdown.

They only had to announce Persona 3 and/or Persona 4 remakes but, Atlus being Atlus, we get ports, cafés and f*cking concerts.

Capcom needs to bring her back to lead exoprimal. The game literally has a dinosaur crisis, the portal theme fits into dino crisis.

Perfect opportunity to bring back Lost Planet's gameplay mechanics AND bring back a severely underused character.

It´s one of those games that looks like it was made using Activision's diverse-o-meter xD.

If Sony wants to unlock this game´s potential they should include it free of charge for every ps plus user, any tier.

Exoprimal looks interesting but I still have no clue why Capcom did not call it Dino Crisis. It's literally one.

Just remake the original in 4k and ray tracing and be done with it.

Tbh I expected it to look a "bit" better. I think this is a game that could have benefited from a total remake.

Between the two I would prefer Capcom. Just imagine: PS Allstars VS Capcom.

Regarding Destiny, I played it back when Forsaken released but never really got hooked.

I think SquarEnix is taking the Deadly Premonition route of "so bad it's essential" school of game design.

@Jaberwocky It affects gamers by stiffling competition, and by consequence innovation and creativity.

As a gamer, I may get a series X if the good games are there, same reason I got a PS5 or a Switch. But the Microsoft ways always leave a bad taste in the mouth.
I hope they do great things with the ip they've been acquiring but their history doesn't give me a lot of hope.
