Sidescrolling F2P battle royale Dead Cide Club is coming to PS5 at an as-yet unknown date, giving us a look at a popular genre from a whole new perspective.
The title is launching into Early Access on Steam on 27th February, and we got to see the kind of action we PlayStation players can look forward to. It sounds quite bizarre really, as the vast majority of battle royale games are 3D, with part of the magic being the freedom and replayability an open battlefield allows. Still, the prospect remains intriguing, provided the experience comes together in the full release.

I love side scrolling shoot em' ups, grew up with the likes of Contra so will watch this one closely, sounds/looks interesting.
Sounds intriguing. I'm a sucker for 2D sidescrollers.
