@RoomWithaMoose I've yet to play the sequel but what sometimes took me out of the immersion in the OG was that aloy was taking in this reality-shattering, weight-of-the-world knowledge so casually.

That aside, I always thought the desperate last stand of humanity against the machine apocalypse would've made for an exciting spin-off FPS. Especially given Guerrilla's pedigree.

I think this is what Microsoft is aiming for for their next xbox imo.

Worse than usual state of play but I've come to expect that.

I hope the tga will have some fun announcements & surprises

Don't really care for Horizon tbh but it is strange its skipping PS5.

Then again Sony has been outright sabotaging itself this gen so maybe not that strange.

The style is too similar to not call it a copy. Tencent should've just made a different style of robot dinosaurs instead of going for Horizon's look.

The problem here I think is not that Tencent is using the concept of robot dinosaurs in a game but the style of the robots.

Personally, I would've purposefuly designed completely different robot dinosaurs instead of using Horizon's obvious style.

Tbh, Hulst soured me on the Horizon IP by association so I couldn't care less about it.

Is this for the same $1000-ish console they want to peddle next gen?

Never got the appeal of game music live concerts.

Probably a reflection of how much Starfield bombed. Good thing is, hopefully, that Bethesda will have to update their dated design and a better Elder Scrolls will result of it.

Maybe they can finally stop chasing the high-fidelity gfx dragon and just focus on physics, gameplay mechanics, AI, art direction, etc.

If this doesn't work out they can always salvage the assets and make it a single player boomer fps campaign and just release it for free: This way all that work is not a COMPLETE waste and you can scratch some goodwill back from the players.

The katakana characters are a nice touch.

8 is NOT a large roster for a tag-team fighter. Even Street Fighter 5 released with 16 and that was still considered a limited roster.

An almost guaranteed way to get userbase upgrade from PS5 to PS6 would be Bloodborne 2.

This one always looked like a tech demo for me. Imo there's a few more interesting games coming out of China than this one.

I think they should take a bit more inspiration from Final Fantasy and make each a one a unique story and characters with elements that carry over.

Valor Mortis looked pretty interesting.
Cinder City and Time Takers from NC Soft also caught my eye.
Legends announcement for Yotei was great.
Capcom also got a good showing with both RE:Requiem and Onimusha looking incredible.
I give Bloodlines 2 the benefit of the doubt because of the Chinese Room devs
And will the 3rd time be the charm for Lords of the Fallen? Probably not but we'll still get another one XD.
