Re: Sony Allegedly Funding Kojima Productions Silent Hill Game

Honestly I'd prefer the original SILENT HILL team involved in the Sony-funded project.

Hideo Kojima is just going to use half the budget to make more personal Hollywood connections and tour around the world. Again.

I'd rather Sony saved that money and give it to FROM instead to begin development on a Bloodborne sequel asap.

Reading the comments I can see the most positive things anyone can say about this game is "it looks gorgeous" and "not boring just not for everyone".

At least everyone's stopped indulging Kojima with his dumb "I created new strand genre" bs. He did help shape the stealth genre but did not create it either.

Damn, this leak was more exciting for me than the recent showcase.

New Dragon's Dogma, Street Fighter AND Monster Hunter? Damn, Capcom! Leave something for the others.

From Square Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster is awesome but I would die if Final Fantasy IX were to receive a remake.

Big YES to all the following: Chrono Cross Remaster, BioShock 2022, Mirror's Edge Remaster, Untitled Respawn Game, Titanfall 3, Tekken 8, Crysis 4, XCOM 3, Mortal Kombat XII, Helldivers 2.

And still no Bloodborne for the PC crowd. Sony has that under lock deep in the chalice dungeons. Forget the patch, grant us a sequel set in Cainhurst, Loran or a different land entirely.

Re: Reaction: PlayStation Showcase 2021 Was Good, But Not Good Enough

@naruball I'm talking about the dry-ass holiday season. The showcase overall was strong but no first party titles for the end of the year while Switch has Metroid Dread out in October, Shin Megami Tensei V (not first party but exclusive) and new Pokemon in November, Advance Wars in December. *****, even MS is releasing half of Halo Infinite in December and the new Forza on November. So yes, handing it over.

I have a lot of trust in Sony's teams but I was not expecting the rest of 2021 to be so bare but maybe some us got spoiled by the PS4 gen that seemed to have bangers for every season for a few years. That said the first half of next year is going to be insanely packed.

Basically sums up my feelings about the show. I expected Sony to at least have an ace for this holiday season but apparently they are handing it over to Xbox and Nintendo.

Wasn't a fan of CG-only trailers, ANOTHER Deathloop trailer or the Uncharted ps4 games remaster. I mean I will probably get Deathloop but did it really had to take up space if it releases next week?

I did like what I saw of Forsaken, Project Eve, Gran Turismo 7 (!), God of War: Ragnarok, Ghostwire Tokyo

Just to confirm, Holiday 2021 is going to be dry as hell, right?

@Olmaz Butthurt western logic. Truth is China has lifted 100 million people out of poverty and has become the new economic engine for the world. Yes, the system HAS many problems, lots, but you can't tell me the predatory capitalist societies the rest of the world lives in are doing any better. In fact, they are doing worse, the west is broken economically and morally but still feel like they can lecture the rest of the world.

Explain to an afghan how the US is so much better than China. I believe they might differ.
