I would prefer a remake over a remaster. But it's a good time to start playing this franchise as I have never played it before

@JJ2 It is $499 according to the leak. Remember that the series s details and announcement was leaked by the same source hours before Microsoft responded with the official reveal

Maybe they didn't want to overlap with Ubisoft's event, so they delayed the showcase

@UnlimitedSevens I don't thinks it's a gimmick as they have found a way to let the DualSense reacts to any game's audio without the effort from the developer.

@Octane You will have to wait until current gen is not supported and SSD is a requirement on PC which will be after a couple of years at least

I tried Alan Wake a couple of years ago on PC, and man that game is soo good. I'm surprised it didn't get a sequel.

No price, no release date, no launch line-up confirmation, no tear down video... etc

I hate when people underestimate this title and act like it's not a big deal by saying " it's just a remake". I mean it's really good news for people like me who didn't get to play the original game. I was a little child when this came out, I'm honestly looking forward to playing it.

But for real what other jobs could a game developer excel at that doesn't involve media production ??

does this game run on 60 frames on the ps4 ?

It was a basic beat' em up kinda game that I honestly liked , reminds me of the ps2 days. I will wait for a discount while more content is added to it.

I don't even have a ps plus. I only renew my subscription when I want to play with friends. Other than that i'm sticking with ps now only

So, they go all out of their way to get exclusive games and content from third party, and then they release their first party games on PC?? That doesn't make any sense, either you want people to buy your console or you don't. And releasing first party games on PC means you don't

Can't judge a game from a cinematic trailer alone. But i'm kinda interested, need some gameplay first

@Porkfiend Hell yes! if you like a small horror, creepy experience with some puzzles then it's such a blast to play. I really loved it. Don't forget that the complete edition comes with an additional DLC which can be accessed from the chapters section. play it after completing the main game.

@TheAdza easily fixed! just make an account on the US store and subscribe to the service by buying a psnow code from 3rd party websites and make this account the primary on your ps4 device and play with your main account

RPG elements are ruining my games

@TheAdza you are honestly better off subscribing to ps now instead. I have been a subscriber since they have added the downloadable games option. I got to play lots of games that I woudn't have considered if it wasn't for ps now. games like the evil within 1&2, lost legacy, hollow knight, shadow of war, styx and so many other games

I have downloaded this and tried it thanks to PSNOW, the game is simply unplayable on the original PS4. I didn't even progress in it as I was turned off by the constant stutter. I can understand people's position who supported this day one. I will buy it on the ps5 to enjoy the better performance plus DLC

@Matroska Exactly how it is! people are too simple minded to see what they are doing. All of what the witcher 3 had for free was some finisher animation and a couple of costumes, hairstyle and a contract mission all of which were cut out from the game and released as "free DLC'. They sure know how to get praise from players and look as consumer friendly as possible. Manipulation at it's finest
