Because the amount of games Embracer has make me wonder how much money will they spend on developing games ??

I hate turn based combat that's why I always avoid this franchise, but tried 15 and the 7th remake and it was really good. Turn based combat is definitely a turn off for me

Ugh. They are going to horde all these IPs without developing worth while games. They will spend the least on developing games since they have a lot of IPs. Their games would be average at best which is sad compared to the magnitude of heavy hitter franchises they have

@GunValkyrian It's adorable that you think Microsoft is THAT sweet. Just like they tip toed around Bethesda title's exclusivity before the deal was finalized, they have been doing the same thing since this Activation acquisition been under review.

This game was amazing. So much hate for it because of Joel and the design of Abby. But the revenge story is enjoyable, people don't want to see their fav character held accountable for their actions, Abby's hate for joel is justified.

I just don't get why Sony wouldn't develop smaller scale games like sly cooper, gravity rush in-between big AAA game releases. But instead, they went to live service games to keep milking people's time and money and forgot about people who put them on the map in the first place.

@Americansamurai1 According to them there's going to be a mid month update for extra and premium. It's also expected as Stray releases on July 19, they are definitely going to announce it.

The new combat system is what actually got me into Final Fantasy. I would not touch any game that use turn based combat, it's just not for me

My biggest problem is how they are making 12 LIVE SERVICE games all at once, and that makes single player games to be around 10 (since Jim announced they are developing 22 games for ps5). That's why I'm hoping some of their live service games fail, so their focus would shift back on single player games.

I still don't understand people who want to play ps3 ps2 ps1 games, like just get a laptop it doesn't have to be expensive and it will be able to run all those titles for you. I have a decent budget laptop for work and I occasionally game on it, modern games run fine on it.
on a console, you are under Sony's mercy of what they will provide and I'm sure not all games would be available they will pick them based on popularity.

I'm ok with ads as long as they are in the background, if it's anything like a popup or a YouTube ad then I wouldn't bother playing the game. I would have to resort to hacking games in retaliation.

Imagine if this was a day one for Sony's PlayStation Plus Extra, that would be a baller move

Sad to see HFW not do great. it's a very special game and I loved every minute of it. But at least a generic multiplayer didn't outshine it, just an other great single player game which isthe Elden Ring.

I haven't played this cuz my first gaming console was a ps3, but Max Payne 3 was awesome. This is definitely going to be a new experience for me, looking forward to it. (this means single player games aren't dead as some people claim)

@anoyonmus Microsoft dropped the ball on heavy hitter acquisitions, Sony is trying to secure their future. Don't forget that Chinese companies are also acquiring others.
