Final Fantasy 16 is very close and seriously impressive, but you’ll be playing it even sooner than you think. Square Enix has confirmed that it’s plotting a full-length demo prior to release, which will last a couple of hours and focus on Clive in his youth. It’s the same segment of the game we played during a recent preview event, and you can read more about that through here.

While there’s no date attached to the demo just yet, it’s possible it might emerge during this week’s PS Showcase – although with the game still about a month away, that feels a little too soon to us. Either way, it’s pretty exciting that you’ll be able to go hands on with a significant portion of the anticipated exclusive prior to release, and we’ll of course let you know the moment it’s available to download.
