Update: PlayStation has officially announced the PS Plus Essential games for May 2023, and they're just as the leak said. You've got GRID Legends on PS5 and PS4, Chivalry 2 on PS5 and PS4, and Descenders on PS4. All three games will be available to add to your library from the 2nd May.

You can read a bit more about these titles in the original article below.

Original Story: The PS Plus Essential games for May 2023 have been leaked just hours ahead of the official reveal. As per frequent PS Plus leaker billbil-kun on Dealabs, next month's offering includes the following PS5 and PS4 games:

GRID Legends is the headline act here, a big budget cinematic racer from Codemasters, which released just over a year ago on PS5 and PS4. But if you fancy something completely different, Chivalry 2 is worth checking out, with its medieval multiplayer warfare. Potentially great fun with friends.

And finally, we've got Descenders, which does feel a bit like the odd one out here. This 2020 cycling title is a roguelike involving bikes, as you race down mountains towards the finish line — and hope to get there with all of your bones still intact.

What do you make of May's PS Plus Essential games? Good? Bad? We'll update this article when the official announcement happens later today, but until then, don't shoot the messenger in the comments section below.
