I thought ND was starting on that scifi thing they wanted to make. Is there really a need for a remake? How did they get that idea? Market research or just plain safe/lazy? Better not because that show is coming soon...

New IPs are needed don't make the mistake Xbox made but it's starting to look that way.

I would like to replay games but because of a huge backlog and time which is scarcer nowadays it's almost not possible. I would love to play some games again but then I think yeah but I have to finish that first which results in not wanting to play the game I should finish first pfff

The most replayed games of mine are the Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age Origins, KOTOR 1, FF9 & Dishonored

I was hoping/expecting a release date at the last State of Play.. A delay could happen I guess. They are recording all of the voice work for the lines in the game maybe that's the reason?

I'm trying to keep myself from adding stuff to my backlog so I passed on buying the Grandia HD collection.. But really want to play prt. 2 again.

Anyway on my way finishing Bravely Default in preparation for the sequel and I will be playing Persona 5 Royal for a bit.

Also tried the demo for Triangle Strategy was really enjoying it!

Ever since the release date for the ME Legendary edition got announced I had to jump in Mass Effect again however the boxes my PS3/X360 are in are still somewhere in the attic. So I started a new game on ME A which is still hilarious sometimes.. It's improved since I last played it but I'm enjoying it. Also playing Bravely Default and Fire Emblem Three Houses again.

I will be playing Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS and some AC Valhalla but I'm feeling a bit tired from it I must say so maybe I will put it to the side for some time.
I'm reading the Witcher books which got me in the mood for some Witcher 2 so maybe I will hook up the ol' 360 this weekend.

You just know it's a mess on PS4/XBO haven't seen anything of it yet.. They totally went the wrong way with this... somewhere during the production they should have said look it's a ambitious game more so than we thought so we can't get it to work on current gen.
Sure there was going to be backlash aboit that but it would have been accepted by now. No what they did was keep delaying which meant more workload for their employees and more stress and bad publicity.

Working on my backlog. Right now I'm playing Killzone Shadow Fall never finished it.. 4 chapters to go it's .. Okay not as good as the previous entries.
Also playing Broken Age which I like alot. And maybe Platinum Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and AC Odyssey for both games 3 trophies to go including the under water activities one in AC Odyssey pfff

This, it isn't about Assassin's anymore. A bit over the top. I liked it in Origins that you worked towards forming the Brotherhood but this seems to much action focused with the assassin's part being an after thought.

Also I'm curious to see the PS4 version in action.. Is there PS4 gameplay or is all the gameplay next gen? Curious to see if they gave the current gen some attention or if they left it behind an focused mainly on next gen.. The Ubisoft thing to do..

Almost done with Sakura Wars, chapter 5 right now. Was about to get started on Monster Hunter World any tips for getting started?

Most of the time when I'm done playing a game I remove it. Never been in the situation where I was out of space on my ps4.

Look at us fixing s*** that should have been sorted in the first place.

Gaming is becoming a luxury product more and more. This gen I haven't bought a lot of games on day one only the PS exclusives and games I was really interested in and wanted to support the develpers. I already stopped pre ordering years ago. It's a big hobby of mine but I won't be laying down the cash on full priced games for € 79,99. Those were special edition prices this gen haha.
But also I can't I'm 32 now so we have a lot of other stuff where our money goes also I hope I'm blessed enough to have a kid in a few years time.
So buying a game for 80 euro's is not something I can do anymore.
So I'm focussed on my backlog for now.. And I say now like it's consist of 5 games but it's a lot... I have a big backlog.. Monster Hunter World and the Witcher 3 are a part of it.. And then some..

But also these prices during a pandemic doesn't seem viable. Money is tight for a lot of people roght now. A lot of them also lost their jobs.

Ok cool.. Still think this game would have benefited greatly from a main character.
Just not feeling this game at all.. It's hard to feel connected with the story with "npc's" but I gope they will prove me wrong.

My guess is after Aiden comes Marcus as a DLC character. Also Ubisoft again with the DLC promotion for a game that is not even out yet...

We all knew they lied, come on! but still scummy move.
Alot of companies are in the same boat rigjt now it's just how they act on it. See CDProjekt Red they think about us in which case we see it as a present/service and an invitation to play the Witcher 3 again to see how it is on ps5. Huge difference in viewpoints not saying one is wrong and one is right but in the end CDPR will build up goodwill and trust.

I liked Control was planning to play the Foundation and AWE some day when it's on sale but I wasn't planning on playing it on ps5 anyway.

I loved this game back in the day. The time mechanic was really cool and well done. It was one of these games you got excited by when you were a kid. Intro was also really nice and cinematic. Had to chuckle a bit when I heard the voice acting that came a long way since then.

But this... This is not a remake it's a remaster.
I don't think it's really that bad however they could've done more sad to see they don't seem to care about the franchise. I even think they could have made a 3-pack right away with all the games in the trilogy (forgotten sands sucked)

I think after the Xbox prices they will rethink the PS5 prices.. My guess it was around 599 and 399 for the all digital version.

They have to stay on the same price level as Microsoft but can they afford that?

Not just a shock to you but Im thinking Sony HQ as well. Now I'm just really curious what PS5 will gonna cost after this.. PS5 digital will not match the Series S is my guess. Yes your estimates seem correct. It's just comes down how they going to market the PS5 digital, XBOX is inferior to the X so that's why they make it cheaper it will be a GamePass machine. PS5 digital is not.. Let's say standard PS5 will be 599 what will happen?
I think Sony will have look a their prices and will not be waiting very long now. It's a big company so I think they will a few plans haha

After XBOX announcement today I guess the question is ... What are the PS5's prices going to be?

Yes it had some sort of cult following back then it was "different" than the previous PoP guess that turned some people of..
I'm curious to see what path they will take to revive the PoP brand.

Sakura Wars & Judgment for me.

I like Sakura Wars more than I thought despite some awkward scenes. There is also quite some humor in it.

Really liked the art style of PoP 2008 did that game "flop" sales wise? I always thought it did quite well. Maybe Ubi set the target to high? Was hoping for a sequel but it never came..
They really focussed on AC after that.

Sands of Time and Warrior Within were my favorites of the Sands serie of games.

True it always gave me a Fable feel. However back when it first released I loved it but never finished it.. Will most def give this one another go!

The Suicide Squad game gave me the impression it's a GAAS more so than Gotham Knights. Was hoping they showed some gameplay or talked about it more so we have some more info. "Revolutionary co-op like you never seen before" is what they said right? When they say things like that I always get the feeling the mentioning of solo play/campaign is to keep everything calm. Keeping my fingers crossed it's not a GAAS.

No continuation from the Arkham games, that's ok I understand that.. but it looks like an live service game.. Another. one.. Why? It gives it a cheap look with the numbers above the enemies head. The uninspired dialoge.. Disappointed so far.

Also they are working on this for 5 years right? Numerous teases leading up to this.. Maybe I was expecting to much.

Do you guys think the Rocksteady game will have links to the Arkham Universe? Origins ended with a sort of tease right?

After completing Ghost of Tsushima last week I've started playing GTA V bought it last week for 14 euro's on PSN. Never finished it back when I had it on PS3. Loving it so far!

PlayStation for sure! I think they even have a lot they didn't show yet the last time because of TLOU2 and GOT were releasing.
There were some nices games shown like Everwild and Fable (loved 2 and 3 back when). Also Crossfire X by Remedy was a decent surprise.
But once again their usual suspects Halo (underwhelming) and Forza.

Nothing I got excited about right now. Maybe down the line I will get a XBOX Series S but PS5 will be the main console!

Playing Ghost of Tsushima, loving it so far! 7 hours in right now. I haven't played an open world game for quite some time so while the repetition is there I'm not bothered by it. The scenery is breathtaking sometimes. The world it self is most definitely the best and unique aspect of the game.

Also I'm making a list of my backlog....

Really looking forward to this ever since it was announced. Love the setting, it looks great really great, I think the story will be interesting as well.. as far as you can tell right now.

However I hope the world stays interesting over the course of the game, I hate to use the term: AC-like or Ubi-like but I really hope it doesn't go down that road. Also.. Nitpicking incoming.. but the lack of animations when collecting resources feels of.. Also came across some gameplay and there the foliage wasn't reacting to the player..

Working on my backlog.. Just finished Control now on to the last 3 missions of Gravity Rush..

Looks quite good, hope they replace the blue plastic though.

What do you play after the Last of Us II, I thought it was fantastic but it was a heavy game... Emotional storytelling on a whole other level! I wanted something lighter after that..

and then I remembered that I still had Gravity Rush in my library so started playing that and I must say it took me by surprise. Really loving it so far. Hope to finish that before Ghost of Tsushima releases.

@BearsEatBeets yeah sometimes I forget this game is in development for quite some time.. I'm just really curious how it looks on the current gen consoles though we haven't seen that really yet maybe in their next stream in a few weeks

@Bamila yes you are right about that. But will they release it directly to PS5 or do you have to buy the PS4 disc and then download the patch? They haven't been clear about this right or did I miss something? That's one of the reasons why I'm still in doubt if I should buy it right away..

Hope it turns out great. After the deep dive a few weeks ago I was both impressed and a bit worried.. Hope it isn't generic with the same stuff happening again and again.

I know but I'm afraid because it's a smaller game (looking at the price) the campaign will be on the background a bit.. Multiplayer will have the main focus. But I hope the campaign will be good!

After Fallen Order I'm having faith hope this will be good.. Loved the GC game!! But still.. EA.. And multiplayer being present.. They say no micro transactions but we all know their track record.

Hope the campaign is better than BF2, I'm not a big multiplayer fan but maybe this is something I like.
