Good lord, what kind of state was Marvel's Avengers in when it launched earlier this month? The game's "biggest patch yet" will be available to download shortly on PS4 (later today at the time of writing), and it promises to fix "over 1000 issues". While it's great that all of this stuff is being improved, is it really okay to be bragging about fixing over 1000 issues with the game? We'll let you decide.
The patch notes for this one are absolutely huge, so you're best off clicking through to the game's official news blog for the full read. Highlights include fixes for annoying progression, matchmaking, and animation bugs. Parts of the UI have also been tweaked, and a number of gameplay alterations have been made. It really is a monster of an update.

I haven't played the game long, but I encountered bugs pretty frequently. Hopefully this fixes things. I really like the game, but I probably just got it too early.
The fact me and the SubReddit have been hyping this patch really shows how broken it actually was, i actually really like the game but the game makes it hard sometimes to enjoy as nearly every aspect of it has a problem ranging from minor to gamebraking.
Wow that's a lot of bugs.
You need Raid to get rid of all of those
With that many bugs Iโm surprised this game even started let alone be playable
Good thing as I just got a free copy from some upgrade I got so good to see teething issues have been removed.
Well thats level 1 sorted
Look at us fixing s*** that should have been sorted in the first place.
In fairness I've played around 10 hours so far and I haven't come across many bugs at all and the ones I have were minor.
If it had thousands of issues perhaps releasing it when itโs done might be a good idea
If a game can release with over 1000 bugs present, how's quality control going?
they were probably aware of most of these before launch and haven't gotten round to fixing them until now
They should of delayed this for a month. Yes might of cost them money but the bad press likely cost them way more of it being a buggy mess than little delay and better game over all. Hopefully turns into something really good but Iโm waiting till I hear better
@HotGoomba Looooooool๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
@AJDarkstar If I remember correctly, a patch for BG2 fixed 15,000 issues. Even after all official patches were released for BG1, you still had pretty major stuff like a certain companion quest being broken and impossible to complete 100% of the time. Still, it had a fraction of the budget of this game and was way more complex.
As long as we pay even more money next-gen.
I love how companies now seem proud to announce their game has over a 1000 issues that need addressing
You shouldn't launch a game with 1000 bugs, what the f squareenix??
Very cool. I am holding off a bit to play it. What I did with Destiny.
It also just got a GeforceNOW release, so you can play it on the GO if you have it on PC.
...I think I'm gonna wait a few months. Hopefully all of the bugs and glitches are ironed out by the time the PS5 upgrade releases in November.
That's assuming new bug and glitches don't spawn as a result of said PS5 upgrade though lol.
@HMazzy111 Still i would not brag about something like that.
Get this. Imagine if they just released it in a stable state to begin with? Heresy, I know...
