NieR Replicant PS4 PlayStation 4 1

The weather's really beginning to brighten up and it's glorious. Unfortunately, the world's still no where near back to normal, and while we're feeling more optimistic these days – well, it's still a bit too soon for normality, isn't it? Here's hoping we're finally on a more positive path at least, though, eh?

Now I've finished my MLB The Show 21 review, I'm just enjoying playing the game while I wait for Returnal to release. I feel like I could complement the baseball with a short or easy indie game, so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open to something mindless and fun.

I'll be hacking and slashing my way through NieR Replicant this weekend so that I can bring you lot a review as soon as possible. I played the original NieR what feels like a lifetime ago (and I wasn't a massive fan of anything but the music), so I'm expecting a weirdly nostalgic experience.

I’m kind of just killing time until Resident Evil Village review code comes through, so I won’t be starting any new games. Instead, I’ll check out the newly revamped Verdansk map in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Phew! Now the PS3 and PS Vita's stores are staying open, I'll ease off panic buying, and plan some sensible purchases for the future instead. As a bonus, I'll put any money saved towards the physical release of Battle Axe – which is a top-down, Henk Nieborg pixel art game that Numskull Games provided digitally for a PS4 Mini Review.

That's what we're busy beavering away with this weekend, but what about you? What are you playing? As always, let us know in the comments section below.
