What Are You Playing PS4 PlayStation 4 1

We've spent all year whining about the weather, and now it's officially too hot. Fortunately, rain is forecast for the weekend, so it's sure to cool down quick. Yours truly may just go and lie on the pavement, and let the cool water wash over.

I've been itching for some turn based Japanese RPG action, so the arrival of PS Plus Premium here in Europe is well timed. That's right, I'm exploring the dusty wastelands of Wild Arms this weekend — a game that I can barely remember playing many, many years ago. Still a classic!

PS Plus Premium went and launched at a very busy time, so my attention is being pulled in a few directions. First and foremost, I'll be taking F1 22 for a test drive, with a review coming soon. Elsewhere, I have a second game to review, but I'm also keen to crack on with a couple of PS1 games, like Ape Escape and Toy Story 2 (a true classic).

Nothing has really grabbed me since I burnt out on Final Fantasy XIII, so I’m looking for that to change this weekend. I'm downloading Fortnite for some casual fun, and then I've also got Shadow Warrior 3, Sniper Elite 5, and Trek to Yomi all lined up.

I'll be swinging back and forward in time to finish Spider-Man: Edge of Time and possibly start The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. It’s good to be back!

Having spent the past week snagging the Platinum Trophies for four of the five PS1 Classics to get Trophy support, I'll be burning some time this weekend trudging through the Trophies for the last one on the list: Wild Arms.

A few friends and I are gonna give Roller Champions a few spins to see if it's worth keeping the download around. Could be fun! In addition to that, though, I've still got those PS5 ports of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 eating up some hard drive space and I've been itching to play 2 again, so this weekend might finally be that time!

While surfing PS4's UK PS Store, I counted 37 games listed in the new PS Plus Classics Catalogue section covering PSP, PS1 and PS2 titles, so I was chuffed to see that I can already download 11 of these retro games due to my historical purchases, before I've even spent a penny upgrading my PS Plus.
