From the way things are going the only reason to buy the next gen Xbox is just for gamepass and if u care about playing PC games. At this point I'll just keep the series X until it dies and will replace the PS5 Pro with the PS6.

Really hope it's a streaming device like the portal and not something that will limit games. Like how all series X games have to be able to run on the series S.

Greatest game of all time and there hasn't been anything near as good since.

So the theory from Ghost of Tsushima is that Jin's mother is fox and father is the bird. Or the other way round, so would make sense that Jin would want to assist the next ghost. Def has to be a mythic tale about Jin in Yotei. If his story is cannon then it'll be known about by those in this game.

Glad that the revenge on the 6 isn't the be all end all of the game. Had been thinking it might have been the whole thing and then that would just be additional stories through the side quests.

Comparing to AC Shadows, I wiped out a circle of more people with no idea who they were or why they needed to die. Was just messing about exploring and stumbled into this house which started a cutscene where I ended up fighting and killing what turned out to be the main guy. Then a pile of people turn up at his house after I killed him and they're all on the circle! So they all died. 😂😂

@Migoshuro Yea GoT was just a matter of pressing the button to instantly get it. Though also think it was good in away when just out and about on the horse taking in the scenery u could just grab stuff and keep walking. Rather than having to get off the horse and then collect. There wasn't the same sort of emphasis with it in the way it was done in Horizon. Like having to create ur arrows out of what u gathered. I think that is harder to implement in a game like Ghosts. As your main weapon is the sword. They could make it more interesting. It will be interesting to see what all they use the collecting for. I wouldn't like it to change into like a necessary thing for survival. Like being able to create ur own health potions would be a good implementation. It would not be good if it was a matter of gathering to feed yourself to keep ur energy up in the game. Think that would be overkill. I have Avatar in my backlog but haven't got playing it yet. The ever growing backlog! Sounds interesting but does it not get tedious? Is it like a mini game and is there any variation?

People complaining about collecting stuff with the press of a button. How else are u going to collect stuff if not pushing a button on the controller? Swiping on the touch pad would get real old real fast. Also did nobody collect anything when playing through Ghost of Tsushima? Flowers, bamboo, "supplies" etc.

@Nem Thankfully there's only 2 in my house. So I don't have that issue. 😂 Sure even the portal did really well because of the reason u say. I've my gaming room / office upstairs. I'm not against the switch at all, it's just not something I personally see myself using or needing. I have the PS5 Pro and series X. There's too much to play on them as it is. Honestly my 1st post was just stating what I thought about the differences and making a joke that my friend was saying last night as to why he wasn't getting the new one when so many others are. Those 2 things have really seemed to offend some.

@Arkz No, how to take the wrong message from a throw away post I made. Like it physically attacked u or something because my preference is to play on a big screen with the PS5 over the switch. The main selling point of the switch is it's portability. That's not something I'm interested in and don't need. Therefore I'd rather play games and in my opinion better games on the PS5. I am correct in saying that the switch won't be able to play games like god of war / ghost of Tsushima etc. Not just for gameplay but also for how great they look and the experience. Though that opinion probably hurts u. People are allowed to have different options to u it's ok. Ur not the main character in this world.

@Arkz I didn't say that graphics wins over gameplay. So that's a dumb take from the start. I just said for me it'll not beat playing the PS5 or now the PS5 Pro. I don't need something I can take with me so prefer playing on a big oled. Yes the PC beats PS5 / PS5 Pro in terms of graphics. Big whoop, it also costs more and adds a ton of hassle with drivers. Though I'm confused. I thought u just opened ur argument stating that gameplay beats graphics. Then go on to say ur PC is so amazing with graphics. So an even dumber take from you. My post stating it only has 1 game was because I was speaking to friend of mine today that is a massive Nintendo fan but was refusing to buy it because it only has 1 new game.

Switch 2 with 1 game and less power than an Xbox series S will never be able to match playing on PS5 / PS5 Pro. The only reason I could see for having a switch in general is a love for Nintendo and doing a lot of commuting on a train.

I'd guess it's going to be the remake of the original. Which is going to be released on PS5 as well as on xbox. Going by what was said at the MS showcase it could be released early next year.

After playing on the series X since it released (gamepass), I decided to buy it for the PS5 Pro. I'm glad I did, the game looks stunning. Only annoying thing is I can't get my car on the PS5 version. 😭 Hopefully it'll get added to the backstage pass at some stage.

@HammerKirby3 @graymamba Gamepass is the only reason for it, it really is. Not having to pay for it makes it even better. 😂 Still can't keep me off the PS5 Pro though. Horizon 5 just looks stunning on it compared to the series X.

Can get Kingdom come day 1 edition from Amazon for £40.

Also LEGO Horizon is £35 from Playstation direct.

@Northern_munkey I've been playing on LG CX since just before the PS5 / series X released. Then got a Samsung S95D last year. Though can't remember if I tried it on that or not.

@Northern_munkey Was on PS5 and in some cases when it was first released it was near unplayable. Even tried a uninstall and reinstall. When the DLC update released I reinstalled it and it was better but still did it. I remember reading that it was meant to only happen the first time u played a stage and then the next time it would be fine. That wasn't the case for me unfortunately. Burnout was such a great game as well. In the article I found it said they were moving away from licensed games. So I think the F1 game is going to go the way of fifa and they drop the license and just release their own game. What they're going to name the new F1 game could be interesting. EA 1 racing 😂

Great news! EA WRC was such a disappointment. Stuttering and screen tearing destroyed it.

@TheArt EA closed them down from what I can recall.

Edit: Just checked, they laid off loads of staff and moved the rest onto other projects.

@VanguardKaiser I haven't played it in a while but would recommend it. It's like an old school GTA game. Lots of fighting and driving from what I can remember.

Would love them all to be remade with ragnarok level graphics.

I've horizon 5 on the series X but I'm really tempted to buy it for my PS5 Pro. Just to play it again from the beginning. Love forza Motorsport and Horizon. Both brilliant racing games. Got all the old Motorsport and Horizon games installed on the series X and play them from time to time for nostalgia. Played horizon 2 so much recovering from wrist surgery. I think that's why it's still my favorite.

Day 1 and it's great. Love it and the improvements it offers. Can't wait to play Ghost of Yotei and GTA 6. It's far better than the series X. Though the base PS5 was better than the series x as well. Think the next xbox will be my last MS console.

@PlatinumMikey I can't wait for it! The only game I've been really looking forward to since it was confirmed. Though bit worried incase the story isn't as good as Tsushima.

EA WRC was really poor. I got the plat for dirt rally 2.0 in anticipation of it releasing and was massively disappointed.

Wonder if KT will take the license back again.
