Played the beta and was good but couldn't last more than 3 games. Some reason just felt drained. Went back to play blops6 and didn't have that issue. Overall my interest in FPS games has dropped off massively the last couple of years.

@BusyOlf Never say never. It's ur home u can do what u want in it.

@CaptD @Uromastryx @Sanctanox They released the original in VR as an exclusive for the Meta Quest. They got rid of their VR department a while back though. So unfortunately it's very unlikely they'll be going back to VR again. Though it would be totally awesome to play in VR.

@acuity1980 Never a good sign not getting an estimate. Though you'd like to think it'll only be a week or so. I got a panel replaced on a CX last year and it didn't take too long to get back. Wait for it to come back and hold off getting a new one. Can then save up for a top of the range replacement next year. 🙂

I've had GPU for free now for years and still have 2 years built up. MS putting COD day 1 on gamepass stopped me from having to buy it. So there was lost money. At this rate I'll just be keeping the series X for 2 more years and then dropping Xbox. As I don't use it enough to actually want to pay anything for it. I buy all my games on Playstation, have only been using the Xbox as a gamepass machine. Adding PC to the next Xbox is not something I need or want so unlikely to spend 1k on it.

@acuity1980 Not a good time for the TV to break. So close to black Friday but not close enough that u can wait it out. Can get some good mid-range TVs, just get what u can get and enjoy.

@StitchJones Yes and they decided to keep it for this year's S95f as well. The brightness on the S95d is crazy like 2000 nits and the G5 is meant to be even brighter. ABL is crazy aggressive on the Samsung. So that's good to hear that it should be a lot less on the new TV. My CX had that panel defect where there were tons of dead pixels along the top. Got the panel replaced under the warranty and the moved it into my bedroom so hopefully the screen will last longer.

@StitchJones Yes getting the G5. Got good savings on it through my works discount site. Paid less than I did for the S95d on black Friday last year. So decided to go for it. Mixed on the anti-refection coating on the Samsung. It works great but on sometime the picture looked a little blurry. Maybe I was just sitting to close to it though. 😂

@cainhurst94 U never want to go back to LED once u've played on OLED. This is my 3rd one now. First was a CX, then last year switched over to the Samsung S95d and now back to LG. Can't wait to get playing Yotei.

@OldGamer999 Thanks, have to go 55" as that's big enough for the room. I use it as work office and gaming den. Only sit a couple of feet from it. 😂 I got the 55" S95d last year, but using it to replace the old TV in the living room. That's the only reason I'm changing. Giving the living room TV to my wee nephew for his gaming setup.

Pro plates and gold controller arrived today. New LG G5 arrives tomorrow so holding off starting it until that is setup. It's awful not getting to play it for another 24 hrs!

Glad I've hardly had to pay anything for mine and got 2 years of ultimate free left thanks to reward points. Though they made a massive change where u can't use reward points directly for gamepass sub. Now have to get credit using the reward points and then use that to pay the sub. Will see what the service is like when my free sub ends if I start paying or not. By that time every MS game will probably be coming day 1 to PlayStation anyway.

I had been looking forward to Yotei so much I had forgotten about this beta. Gaming room will be without a TV on Thursday. So will be testing out the G5 with this and Yotei on Friday.

Awful and poor effort. Thankfully as I already have the 30th anniversary and gold Yotei controllers ordered. The Ragnarok one looks far better.

I'd say that's a day 1 must buy for most people. Looks stunning!

That's some amount of maps though. Remember when people were complaining there were hardly any.

@nessisonett Yes those 2 great. Not a massive fan of the other one. The 3 of them are in Cold War.

The greatest game of all time only cost 60 million! Yotei also has a lot of other stuff selling (hardware) that will only help profits. Really looking forward to getting to play Yotei. Hopefully will get as much out of it as I did with GoT.

I can't wait for more God of War.

Would really love a full on remake of all the Greek games. Imagine playing them with graphics like Ragnarok!

As a mostly single player gamer this is great news. Playstation has always had excellent single player games. The shift in focus to mostly live service was a bit of a strange move. The absolute clusterf of Concord probably helped them shift the focus back to single player again.

@Ricky-Spanish Yes, currently have PS5 Pro and series X. With the playstation being my main console. Been the same for the last couple of generations. The Playstation has always been my main console and the Xbox more just for Xbox only games like forza Motorsport and Horizon. With more or less free gamepass since with started I didn't feel the need to build up my collection of games on the Xbox side.

@TrollOfWar Wow, if thise are accurate it's done really well! It should bode well for other live service games going over like Marathon.

Is there any word on how many units helldivers 2 has sold on xbox? It probably hasn't sold the numbers expected. I don't buy games on Xbox, it's only used for gamepass. I'm sure there are quite a few others like me.

I can't see Sony bring any of their heavy hitters to xbox. At most it will be the live service games and that's if helldivers 2 has done well. If it hasn't then there is no benefit to Sony to continue with Xbox.

With all this penny pinching they still need to make sure the PS6 is a decent upgrade on the PS5 Pro. If it's not, I'll hold off and wait for the PS6 Pro. As with the talk of it being something like the switch 2, that functionality doesn't interest me.

@Ellie-Moo Wow they sold out fast. Great to be able to get them as I think they look stunning. Nice getting both controllers. I was originally going to go for both controllers but got the 30th anniversary edition when they opened up again.

Removed Battlefield 6 from the wishlist. Will be sticking with COD.

@Blauwe_Chimay don't think it's about being able to see yourself, more about what people see when shooting u. I'm hoping they keep it sensible. COD is awful for the skins.

At this stage it's either this or nothing for MP shooters for me. COD is complete trash now.

Never been a fan of JRPGs, nevermind turn based anything.
