For the first time ever I'm not too worried about the next generation of consoles. I'm not interested in the PCbox. I could happily use my PS5 Pro for another 4 years. My back log is crazy, filled with PS4 and PS5 games. Plus the other games that u get access to through premium. My series X got used a bit last year for south of midnight and Doom. Currently it's getting turned on for 15 minutes a day to get the reward points. With how things have been going this gen I can't see many ppl switching from playstation to Xbox. So I think Sony can wait before announcing. The series X was more powerful and look how that went. The PS5 has the better controller and better overall experience.

A massive meh! No interest in paying a premium to access Steam. Not sure how this gains more players than the series X especially with them selling their games on Playstation. Unless they do a complete 180 and start going "only this is an Xbox"

Don't get the rush for a new console. As u say they're iterative rather than transformational. So how big will the jump from the PS5 Pro to PS6 really be? The PS5 Pro is a great console and I don't see the need to replace it currently. It's not like there has been a massive development that has happened in the TV world either. Like we have 4K 120 TVs, and 8K hasn't taken off. Native 4K games don't seem to be what Sony is aiming for with the implementation of PSSR. Do people remember the outrage when the PS5 Pro price was announced! The PS6 is going to cost as much or maybe more with the current issues.

Yes! Had been hoping for a full remake rather than just a remaster. Pre-order for me! Though would have loved it if they did a remake that comprised all of the Greek games into 1 massive flowing game

Prefer my Yoeti cover and controller. If the glossy finish on the controllers is like the Chroma Teal controller they can keep them. That controller was horrible to use for long periods of time.

I got a switch 2 after all the hype and now after hardly using it for a couple of months I'm getting rid of it. With the streamin announcement I got a PS portal and upgraded from extra to premium. Premium to 2031! 😄 So will just use that when I'm feeling lazy and want to game in bed.

Played it on the series X with GPU and it's a stuttering mess. Have not touched it since last weekend and don't see any point in returning to it.

Strangely enjoyed hole digging master. So will probably grab this.

Having played a good few hours of Yotei I think Tsushima is still the better game. With the story being better overall.

Buying Wolverine day 1 and will pick up GTA 6 at some stage when it's on sale. When they've had 3 generations of milking the same game I'm not going to be rushing out to buy their next game. As most say it'll be delayed again and at this stage they should just leave it until the next gen arrives in 2027.

£1300 for the next xbox and it going after PC gamers they have to do it. I'd rather pay less for the hardware and keep paying for PSN+. As some of the rumors have said the PS6 could be 1/2 the price of the Xbox.

From playing FC 25 and 26 there's a ton of AI generated **** in the manager career mode. It's quite annoying atm, so can image how awful it's going to be when it's all made by terrible AI.

Of course they're going to say that as their latest console falls apart and is removed from stores. Their next console isn't going to be a proper console but some hybrid PC that's probably going to sell less than the series X if the price rumours turn out to be true. Who is going to want an Xbox PC when the PS6 is half the price and Xbox games are being released on it as well?

I've been really taking my time with the game so way to early to say what DLC I'd want.

Iki Island was great because so much of Jin's backstory was missing in Tsushima.

Full remakes of all the Greek games would be awesome. I'd pay a lot to see them all look like current gen games.

Why would u have looked at the adverts and thought yea that's going to be a completely different game than the last one? Games haven't gotten any better since 1985! You must be a joy at parties.

@johndoe89 So GoT was a 10 and I'd give Yotei 9.5. Ur take is just 😂😂😂 I guess u haven't played much of Yotei at all. It starts out as you going after the Yotei 6 and nothing else matters. However, after playing for a while it takes on more than just revenge. You're again fighting for people's home and way of life. Is it as blatent and in ur face as GoT? No it's not, the whole story and game feels more of a slow burn that GoT. Are u a youtuber where u need to be negative about everything to get views. 😂

Anyone who gives this game a 1 is an idiot. I'd extend that higher as well. Game is easily 8 / 9 /10 depending on how much u like open world games.

Played the beta and was good but couldn't last more than 3 games. Some reason just felt drained. Went back to play blops6 and didn't have that issue. Overall my interest in FPS games has dropped off massively the last couple of years.

@CaptD @Uromastryx @Sanctanox They released the original in VR as an exclusive for the Meta Quest. They got rid of their VR department a while back though. So unfortunately it's very unlikely they'll be going back to VR again. Though it would be totally awesome to play in VR.

@acuity1980 Never a good sign not getting an estimate. Though you'd like to think it'll only be a week or so. I got a panel replaced on a CX last year and it didn't take too long to get back. Wait for it to come back and hold off getting a new one. Can then save up for a top of the range replacement next year. 🙂

I've had GPU for free now for years and still have 2 years built up. MS putting COD day 1 on gamepass stopped me from having to buy it. So there was lost money. At this rate I'll just be keeping the series X for 2 more years and then dropping Xbox. As I don't use it enough to actually want to pay anything for it. I buy all my games on Playstation, have only been using the Xbox as a gamepass machine. Adding PC to the next Xbox is not something I need or want so unlikely to spend 1k on it.

@acuity1980 Not a good time for the TV to break. So close to black Friday but not close enough that u can wait it out. Can get some good mid-range TVs, just get what u can get and enjoy.

@StitchJones Yes and they decided to keep it for this year's S95f as well. The brightness on the S95d is crazy like 2000 nits and the G5 is meant to be even brighter. ABL is crazy aggressive on the Samsung. So that's good to hear that it should be a lot less on the new TV. My CX had that panel defect where there were tons of dead pixels along the top. Got the panel replaced under the warranty and the moved it into my bedroom so hopefully the screen will last longer.

@StitchJones Yes getting the G5. Got good savings on it through my works discount site. Paid less than I did for the S95d on black Friday last year. So decided to go for it. Mixed on the anti-refection coating on the Samsung. It works great but on sometime the picture looked a little blurry. Maybe I was just sitting to close to it though. 😂

@cainhurst94 U never want to go back to LED once u've played on OLED. This is my 3rd one now. First was a CX, then last year switched over to the Samsung S95d and now back to LG. Can't wait to get playing Yotei.
