Made up they are keeping Alastair for Mimir, probably my favourite character after Kratos!
I think the casting has been pretty on point so far!

@themightyant Thanks for the reply, makes sense and as you pointed out originally the way I thought of it would enable you to sell the game after installing which would make no sense commercially for Sony and is my misunderstanding!
Great if you own the game both ways but without a freebie on PS+ I wouldn't be buying both!

@Quintumply I am sure last year there was an update which allowed you to download the game if you had bought it physically so we don't have to leave the disc in all the time, I never found this option did it go live and if so how do I use it?

I really enjoyed Black Myth and it is one of my proudest plats, if this is half as good then I will be very happy (I am sure it will be), plan on getting round to Stellar Blade before this hits as I am told that is even better than Black Myth!

@iPaud Yeah it's great dumb fun, I didn't realise but I completed the Minister Screw side mission this week died a lot on the boss probably 8/9 times (expensive) only afterwards did I find out it was a free DLC mission (end game) so pretty chuffed I beat him at level 23!

More Borderlands 4 for me, about half way through now I think and enjoying it. The GPS tracker thing on your hover bike thing is terrible though it just constantly sends you the wrong way!
That said brilliant guns and it's all about the guns!

Really pleased with my Pro, had it since day 1 the power bump and extra storage are very welcome and I was really impressed with how much smaller it is compared the OG.
As others have said above I immediately bought a disc drive for it so despite appearing a digital sale it most definitely was not

More Borderlands 4 for me, loads of fum, mindless shooting of many many guns!
Hopefully also get some time to try out the Activision collection on Evercade which arrived this week!

Great news and well deserved, one of the better VR experiences too, I am hopeful 8 will feature VR missions as well but haven't heard anything to confirm this yet!

It was a brilliant game and this one got way more time from me than the 2nd probably because I felt it was more solo friendly, apart from the dark zone of course!
Brilliant game but too much time has passed for me to go back now.

Not a great month IMO, decent enough games but all have been heavily discounted over the last 6 - 12 months to a point at which you would have given them a go if you were interested.
Can't be brilliant every month but a shame to start the year on such a bum note!

Continuing my play through of Borderlands 4 which continues to be much better than 3 (not hard) and probably better than 1 (2 being the best). It is juts good mindless FPS fun, I am yet to get that 1 gun though that you just can't do without so might go hunting side quests.
FA cup football and probably a bit of the Activision collection on Evercade.

Brilliant news, think we all knew it was coming as the 2nd game didn't tie things up at all so I suspected/hoped they would complete the trilogy. We need to fight Mecha Hitler!!!!

Yougblood wasn't great at all but New Colossus was awesome, even the hard as nails courtroom level was a blast.

Terminator 2D for me, haven't played Cosmic Invasion yet as I am waiting on the physical release in a couple of months!
T2D was really good fun and I really enjoyed the alternative paths, would have liked a bit more Arnie but appreciate he was too expensive!

2025 was a big year for me getting married and all the planning which goes with that so hopefully more gaming this year.
My main gaming aim is to find time for Stella Blade which I still haven't got around to and also Clair Obscur. Wasn't really that interested in E33 but given it topped most GOTY lists the FOMO is real!!
These are 2 pretty big games so also got to squeeze in all the new 2026 titles too some where along the line, 1st world problem and all that!

@EfYI I couldn't agree more, I loved AW2, great atmosphere and score but found playing as the man himself a real chore, the light bulb puzzles were a rubbish and pointless IMO. Playing as Saga was so much better, I really liked her story! Looking forward to Control 2 later this yea!, Have a good one buddy👍

Excellent a line which is close to me, a nice line through Cheshire and Crewe station has some lovely Victorian architecture.

Great news, the game is just brilliant (for petrol heads) and having PSVR2 takes it to another level, constant updates, cars, tracks etc it really is superb value for money and a brilliant looker.
It has always been and hopefully always will be a day 1 purchase when ever a GT gets released.

I will be attempting to finish the boss rush mode in Terminator 2D, great game proper old school & Hopefully get chance to try out my NeoGeo 2 collection on Evercade for some Ninja Commando (what a name for a game).

Tempted to pick up Dispatch to play before Xmas but we'll see.

Yeah I got this platinum trophy and I thought this was one of the better TT games. Was gutted with the latest New Tales from Borderlands which I understand was a different team to TT hence it wasn't very good IMO.

Got my Yotei Plat this week great game. Got round to finishing off Thank Goodness You Are Here and it is really funny for us Northern UK folk at least.

Terminator 2D for the weekend though and if I get chance some MK Kollection as that arrived yesterday too!!

@Czar_Khastik Same here buddy I can't wait, as a bonus I think Amazon are also delivering my physical copy of Mortal Kombat Kollection too which is even more nostalgia but I wont be playing that just T2 for now, guess we know what our WAYP is this weekend

Played at launch on the 4 Pro and really enjoyed it (I too didn't have the amount of issues it appears others had) but having tried it on PS5 it is like a new game, haven't tried the DLC as it came out too late for me to go back but only hear good things!

Amazing game 9/10 from me.

@StarZinger Excellent, I too have Mass Effect in my back log of shame! I really want to give it a go and have the complete edition on PS4 but have yet to start it, I am told it is a really good game especially the 2nd (I think) so I will get to it at some point!

@StarZinger Hi mate, indeed there is but the release date for physical is March next year so unfortunately we have short wait! Plenty other games to keep us going until then though

I don't have the Plat for Rocket League but I did enjoy my time with it, kinda blew up out of nowhere at the time - fun game.
WWE Legends of Wrestlemania on PS3 was my first Platinum trophy!!

Not a great month for me, got Neon White and Lego Horizon with no real interest in the others but I can't say they are bad games, just not for me.

@RawnDawn If you like racing games and specifically sim racers then don't hesitate, fantastic game and if you have VR then it is a whole other level.

I have copied @Northern_munkey into this reply as he is our resident driving game and steering wheel expert (as nominated by me), he will be able to advise on the best setup and I am sure he will help 👍

Brilliant I can't wait for this just hope they turn down the old style music which kept accompanying the action! Appreciate it was in the game but it just became too much IMO.

Decent list of games here, must be something for most people, for me I am looking forward to Thank Goodness you are Here as a Northerner it should be right up my street.
As others have mentioned don't sleep on Still Wakes the Deep, fantastic story and cast, voice acting is really good too, think they used proper native locals and it shows - fabulous game!

Premium is a joke at this point, I use cloud streaming for my Portal or else there is no way I would resub at this level.
