@riceNpea Oh I agree buddy, I hope it does but I just mean I don't think it will be scalped to the levels of the PS5 where we see pictures of them on pallets in some scalpers garage happily charging customer 1.5 or 2x the price.

@themightyant I might be naive but I am not sure this will get scalped given the price! they would have to charge like £800 or more to make a profit and that is without a disc drive or stand. Could be wrong and happy to be so

@riceNpea It is frustrating but even more so is the Amazon link on every article which doesn't take you to the game because there is no physical release, really strange! I can only assume (as is normal these days) that if you go there via this link and buy anything at all PS get a percentage!

@playstation1995 Completely agree buddy, over here in the UK the disc drive is around £100 so probably about $100 over in the U.S. (we get screwed on exchange rates) and if you want a stand it is an extra £25 so we are looking at about £800 - £820 here and probably similar in dollars.
It is a rip, I feel like us who have the OG fatty are being punished for going physical because we can't use the separate drive like those with a new slim can!

@playstation1995 No disc drive unfortunately but you can add one like with the slim, also no stand. You do however get an extra 1TB of storage (2TB drive).

So yeah pretty rubbish deal really if you have a day one fatty like most of us Gonna cost about £820 total here in the UK!

@Westernwolf4 agreed, not being able to move a dead body in 2024 is ridiculous.

@OldGamer999 I would take that, I think it is going to be £600 - £650 and it won't come with a disc drive, they won't even market it with one IMO as it will then mean a price tag of plus £100, £700 - £750 would be bad optics!

@Shalooda Yeah I think it is great, I am about 12 hours in and still not left Tosharan other than for the main story mission is space. Really enjoying the atmosphere & PoP The Lost Crown is a definite GOTY contender for me!

As many others have said Ubi games are like comfort food to me, I like Far Cry, I loved PoP The Lost Crown, Immortals Fenyx and I'm really enjoying SW Outlaws - all single player games I might add.

They rarely move the genre forward but still great little worlds to get lost in.

Tencent would not improve anything......

@dark_knightmare2 You are spot on and I would say it was mobile phones then social media that has ruined it for everyone! We didn't realise at the time how good we had it, not money wise I was poor but halcyon days indeed!!

It is a 7.5 for me, I prefer the action heavy Jedi games but this definitely has it's place, I am really loving it and Nix is awesome. The world is great to explore and get lost in, I mean it is only a matter of time before Sabacc gets it's own mobile game.
The game needs a mini map, having to pause to see a map in 2024 is ridiculous! But then again the map in Jedi was also atrocious so maybe it's a Star Wars thing 🤷‍♂️

@breakneck Glad you enjoyed it buddy, I did something similar and platinumed Prince of Persia The Lost Crown to kill time prior to Outlaws coming out and it ended up easily being one of my GOTY!

I want to start Astrobot but I am deep into Outlaws which I am really enjoying, loads to do, I have no idea when I will get to Space Marine 2. 1st world problems and that!

@breakneck I loved getting the Robocop platinum, brilliant game, captures the feel of the movie really well.

@LiamCroft You had me with that headline, I thought they had actually confirmed a proper new game! Great for those who haven't jumped in and a must for VR customers (the few of us).

Mech is a bit meh but sound tracks are cool, really want that PS1 design Dualsense though!!!

Pleased to see Outlaws make a mark if only a small one, will be interesting to see where Astrobot charts over there!

I'm really tempted by Breakers 4 having read the review on here!

BTW that game at #2 sounds like something off shooting stars!!

Finally got my platinum for PoP The Lost Crown, brilliant game and a fun challenge!

It's Star Wars Outlaws all the way for me now!

@get2sammyb Cool article thanks Sammy, I still remember getting that SF2 Turbo on the SNES, it was in a purple box if I remember right and yep it was £79.99 in the nineties, worth every penny though My Smash TV import was pricey too, making me remember when game shops were good with cheesy names, ours was called Level 1!!

Yes I am and I am really enjoying it, only about 4 hours in but so far so good, think I prefer Jedi Survivour but a bit early to tell, Nix is great too!

@Lup 100% mate, I have it pre-ordered but didn't go as far as paying extra for early access but only because I am Northern and tight 😂 I can't wait to play it, less than 24 hours for me now

Excellent news, Timesplitters is the headline here but I am also chuffed with Ride 5 (4 was excellent) and another VR game makes me happy!

Really enjoyed this game but not enough to pay to play it again, it doesn't really make sense but they do have a film coming out so no doubt want to try and cash in on that like TLOU & Fallout did with their series.

This game is excellent, or it was for sure. The constant nerfs just didn't make sense, it is a game that is advertised as being overpowered and it is PvE so there should be no issue if players want to blitz missions efficiently I just really do not understand why they want to take the fun out of it! Such a shame, with the exception of the Orbital Rail strike most peoples load outs were pretty varied and not 4 people with the same gear every time so why bother, everyone was having fun.

Yep, the cast is pretty bad but that age rating is the big killer here, how can a Borderlands movie be PG-13 (smh). As has been pointed out, an animated film could have been excellent!

@Kraven Hi buddy, it is a great game and the platinum was pretty straight forward. You will need a play through in Scottish Gaelic but you can do this on your 1st go, you still get English vocals, just signs and subtitles are all Gaelic. Other than that pretty straight forward plat, don't forget to look at the dead body to the right before the staircase after Finnley gives you the lighter. Games about 3 hours long if you need to speed run another play through holding down sprint.

Having got my platinum for Still Wakes the Deep, I am about 2 hours into Prince of Persia Lost Crown, excellent so far, pretty challenging but in a good way, it just flows so well!

@Northern_munkey Brilliant game, one of my favourite films of all time and definitely one of the surprise games of the 23' for me, proper B movie fun! Get well soon buddy!

Not sure when I will get around to this, could be a Xmas game but I will definitely be picking this up, looks and sounds brilliant!!

It is a brilliant game and I love it, played everyday since launch up until about a month ago. They nerfed too much & it all got a bit samey so I left to chip away at the backlog. I might jump back in when the illuminati come back but for now I am done.

If you haven't played it, I do recommend it, loads of fun and reinvigorated my love for multiplayer!! Definitely in my Top 5 this year.

Having just finished Still Wakes the Deep I am doing a 2nd play through in Scottish Gaelic for the platinum! Brilliant game , great story.

@LimitedPower At less than $200 PSVR1 is a decent deal but if you could I would hang on till you can grab the 2nd.

Some great games & experiences on VR1 with Ace Combat, Star Wars Squadrons, Moss, Astrobot, Arizona Sunshine, Walking Dead, Beat Sabre etc but the 2nd iteration is leagues ahead and the controllers are fantastic, a few games available on PS extra now too so you will have some games to go at if you subscribe.

As others have said RE & GT7 are worth the entry price alone but there are many many great games, I don't regret buying mine and looking forward to Metro and Behemoth!

I jest, great for those that love it and to be fair I would play a UK grass roots football game no doubt.

Absolutely loved Madden on the Mega Drive thinking I was cool doing Hail Mary's and stuff but in reality I had zero idea about what I was doing with all the plays but great times indeed!

I am being drawn in by Space Marine so will no doubt end up picking that one up now too but I am really looking forward to SW Outlaws, Astrobot and Alan Wake 2 all pre-ordered!!

Having been abroad for a couple of weeks so my Vita has been getting some love, finished Batman Blackgate and a good chunk of the rage inducing Super Monkey Ball!! The Vita was excellent
Back to big screen gaming now though and I am on Still Wakes the Deep. Brilliant game in a brilliant setting, Rennick is hilarious.

I think it should be an option for those that use it especially if the Dualsense is good for it but I tried it and failed miserably, don't like it on the switch either just doesn't feel natural to me and I'm an inverter 😂
