EA DICE has officially announced Battlefield 6, and you'll get your first glimpse of the FPS in a reveal trailer debuting this Thursday, 24th July 2025. The YouTube premier for the trailer is live now and carries the marketing slogan: "Prepare for the ultimate all-out warfare experience in Battlefield 6."
You can see what looks like the key art for the game in the tweet below:
Battlefield Labs has been the testbed for what we now know as Battlefield 6, where select players have been able to try the multiplayer and single player portions early, under an NDA. A full reveal event is rumoured to take place at the end of July, but Thusday's debut trailer will be our first glimpse of the next entry in the FPS franchise.
EA has handed Battlefield 6 an imminent release window, with plans to launch before April 2026. This means it could directly compete with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which will most likely release for PS5 in October or November this year.

It’s Battlefield. For a 6th time.
Can't wait this game looks really good from what I have seen so far
I find it so funny how Battlefield 1 just hasn't factored in at all with the numbering conventions, despite the fact that it's the best Battlefield of the last decade.
I still play it fairly regularly on PlayStation and it still has a thriving player base.
I wonder if all 100 million players will be watching?
@nessisonett 18 times you mean ha
I'm interested in this but delta force is dropping in August and that looks superb..oh and its free to play.
@Frmknst I think this is the second time today I’ve seen some wild takes from you 😂
I'm hoping this is more like One and V and less like 2142.
Yeah, i'm still interested, i'm a BF vet. that has played 'em all since BF2 on the PC, and even stuck around during the more difficult times. BF2042 eventually turned out allright imo, maybe it's not a really good BF game but it's a solid online shooter these days. BF6 looks promising so i'll be there when it launches(again)
Wonder how many days from launch it will take for it to be playable.
I'd really love to see the Battlefield: Bad Company series make a comeback.
@wildcat_kickz Well it's going to drop once this comes out they always do why I miss Bad Company 2 it has the best MP
@DonkeyFantasy I think that is what they are going for
Battlefield 5 was insulting to veterans.
Battlefield 2042 was a broken mess.
I am not hopeful.
@LifeGirl respectfully disagree about BF5, it is a great game in my opinion. BF4 was a much, much bigger disaster at launch. Can't argue with 2042 being a mess though. It finally came around but took too long to do so.
@Nakatomi_Uk There will always be a dedicated group of players that want an historic shooter and BF1 just does it way better than BF5. That said, how many people leave for BF6 really depends on the quality of BF6. At this point, with two misses back to back, DICE doesn't have the benefit of the doubt.
I want Battlefield 1942 experience. That’s an all out warfare on land sea and air including battleships and submarines.
@Anke yeah Ubisoft must be crazy to set up that goal
I'm looking forward to this one, Dice knows they can't f it up after the last two games and I'm sure they'll make it great.
Please be good. Please 🤞
@Faultandfracture You're thinking of 2042. 2142 was great. I have great memories of Titan mode and the walkers.
All i need is bf3/4 with better graphics. Thats IT. And i hope this will deliver
I’ve been playing BF2042 on and off since launch and I still enjoy it today. I do think BF4 was the better game (only played BF3 on 360) so I’m hoping this new one is more like that with a big focus on destruction.
@Bizzy oh yes thank you
