Sony has uploaded the final PS Stars collectible, as the service begins to properly wind down. While the program will be live until November 2026 for current members, it stopped accepting new players in May, and there'll be no more rewards or collectibles after next week.

The last collectible is a literal PlayStation Star, and includes the description: "PlayStation Stars may be ending, but your loyalty and support will forever live in our hearts. Thanks for three years of great games, fun challenges, and exciting Digital Collectibles!" To add it to your collection, you just have to play any PS5, PS4 game.

The eventual shutdown of the PS Stars program was confirmed back in May, when Sony said that it would "refocus" its efforts after learning "a lot from evaluating the types of activities our players respond best to". PS Stars shuts down completely on 2nd November 2026, but more imminently, no more collectibles, points, or level-ups can be earned from 23rd July 2025.

Its biggest benefit was the ability to trade in points for PS Store credit, allowing you to get discounts on PS5, PS4 games. However, the service's implementation was always flawed. It was restricted to the PlayStation smartphone app and has never been available natively on PS5, PS4 systems.
