Re: Poll: Is Ghost of Yotei Better Than Ghost of Tsushima?

Jayslow

Tsushima is a far better game. Of course graphics and gameplay are slightly improved in Yotei. It's been five years. Would be ridiculous if they were worse. But the story is such a far step back that it seems like a typical Assassins Creed game rather than the complex samurai story we received in Tsushima.

Played the demo a while ago and I loved it. Animation is incredible, story somewhat unique (reminds me of an old Double Fine mobile game named Middle Management of Justice), and while the comedy is right on the edge of hilarious and annoying, so far from what I've experienced it's been hitting with me. Definitely will purchase it, but I'll let a few more "episodes" come out first.

@ShogunRok Great review! Very excited to jump into this over the weekend. I do have a question about how tanky are regular trash monsters? One of my major complaints of Daybreak 1&2 is even with the addition of action combat, somehow it takes longer to fight trash enemies than the older games in full turn based (Rean one shotting with Gale for instance). Was hoping this game would make the action combat feel more trivial.

Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta Patch Promised, But No Mention of PS5 Performance Improvements

Not to be a defender of a billion dollar company in Epic with all sorts of shady business practices, but why does Unreal Engine 5 get the blame for a developer sending out a poorly optimized product? In it's short lifespan UE5 has been used in the development of, just off the top of my head, Expedition 33, Split Fiction, Marvel Rivals, Black Myth Wukong.

Blame the developer, not the tool.

Re: Talking Point: Is It Officially Game Over for PSVR2?

@Questionable_Duck oh Facebook as a company (I still refuse to call them Meta) are straight up evil. But if they are still willing to lose billions of dollars propping up the Quest 3 more power to us.

Also PSVR1 had my favorite launch lineup of all time. Full stop.
