That feeling when you realize you'll be well into your 40s by the time the next Persona game comes out. I'll still be playing the ***** out of it.

Between this and Rebirth I'm gonna be well saturated with JRPG goodness for quite a while.

While I agree there could be usefulness for AI to enhance certain functions in a game you'd never waste resources on like NPC interactions, it's still a slippery slope that I don't want to support. Unfortunately the corporate goons are just salivating at the thought to replace 90% of their workers with AI.

Not a chance it comes out in six years. Honestly I think there's a better chance of Bioware getting shutdown after Dreadwolf than Mass Effect coming out before 2030

Ooof. It's a shame cause I really enjoyed the English VA in Yakuza 7 Like a Dragon. But I'm not sure if I can play with Kiryu in English. His Japanese VA is so iconic. Would be amazing to have the option to only have him in Japanese.

Oh the difference that 6 years makes. When Persona 5 Vanilla released, Atlus went scorched earth on streamers, YouTubers etc warning them to not show any of the game after a certain date (this was well after the release of the game). Now here they are just releasing the entire game early by mistake.

@NotSoCryptic CDPR has long said Phantom Liberty is the only DLC they will release for CP2077. So this will be the complete edition. They have moved on to the next full game.

I love that they still celebrate the existence of one of the greatest trilogies of all time (not just games). But I refuse to get excited for new Bioware projects. Next Mass Effect was announced 3 years ago and still I doubt it's as actually being worked on.

I thought there wasn't a way for me to be less interested in a multiplayer shooter, but AI finds a way to prove me wrong again.

Yet I'm sure it'll still be full of microtransactions and paywalls since it was built from the ground up that way. Can't say I'm a fan of this f2p model coming into premium games. Essentially company execs having their cake and eating it too.

Put me in the camp as I didn't expect this to come out on Q1 2024. Gonna be busy with Infinite Wealth and Rebirth anyway!

@ROTTIEMAN16 true Asgards Wrath 2 comes in December (and also is bundled in free and not an extra $50). But Supernatural alone is worth the price of a quest for me personally. Also really digging Samba de Amigo. On top of all their other exclusives (and other 3rd party games) being backwards compatible which we can't say the same for PSVR 2.

We just won't make any games for it outside of that mid Horizon climbing simulator. I rarely regret purchases, but after getting a Quest 3 at launch it's a joke how much better the Quest is.

I honestly don't even understand a lot of the criticism. I haven't beaten it, as I'm in the last bit of the game, but it's probably my GOTY. Story is phenomenal, gameplay is as fun as ever. The fact that they have people complaining about the game either being too short or too much filler makes me think they paced it the perfect length.

....and then of course there's no winning the snowflakes who think a gay background character is somehow "political" (what do these people call games like Metal Gear Solid or Call of Duty?).

Just off work now and hoping to finish the story by the end of day and clean up the plat before the end of the week

I've had one crash due to my PS5 overheating (so not a crash) and one visual bug where I just reloaded a checkpoint. Pretty solid and optimized game for an open world brawler of this scale.

Now that's one big puddle!

A new model that makes manufacturing cheaper while also raising the consumer price (on the digital edition) isn't in demand for consumers? I'm shocked! Shocked!.....well not that shocked. I'll wait for the PS5 pro and maybe reviews to ensure it doesn't sound like a jet engine like my PS4 pro.

@ShogunRok that's the corporate buzzword I was trying to think of! But I just left it as tail. But exactly what I was thinking. Keeps the game in the zeitgeist for a little longer. More articles written about it post launch etc.

Sony sure loves adding their NG+ modes to their games after launch. Curious if that's by design. Always adds a couple more trophies (for beating on NG+ and probably for beating on the hardest diff). Probably adds a little more tail to a single player game than if was just there at launch.

Well to be fair, after Blizzard's initial trailer for season 2, we could see that math is not their strong suit.

Launching a "slim" unit that is more expensive than the base seems quite unintuitive. Will wait for a pro reveal and hope that comes with a digital edition.

I enjoyed my time with the campaign, but until they completely overhaul the itemization, I'm going to stick with playing Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Getting small percentile damage bonuses to very situational based gameplay is not rewarding. Also I'm too stupid and lazy to figure out the difference of damage with frost vs damage with cold. Or all the crowd controlling nonsense how there's like 10 different affixes for damage while immobilized, injured, stunned, trapped etc. But hey, sounds like they have fixed resistances 4 months after launch.....maybe.

Came in here to make fun of including whatever the hell Unicorn Overlord is. Googled it, then remembered it was the new Vanillaware game. Damnit that's probably another day one buy from me.

Wait this is only contractors? So they aren't even employees of ND. I work as a manager in Mortgage that utilizes contractors due to the cyclical nature of our industry. The whole point of contractors is to have extra staff at high volume times, and can let them go during low times. As they aren't employees of ND, the thought that they get severance (from ND) is bewildering. These people know what they sign up for. It's a way to get your foot in the door and gain experience in the industry. I had 4 temp positions for instance before my career took off.

Not really that big of deal. The update isn't substantial in nature and is dedicated for their 6th year anniversary which was only playable on Xbox and PC at the time.

Outrage better served for real issues like terrible work conditions from publishers, exploitative microtransactions, and new Peter Parker face models.

Annapurna may legit be my favorite publisher. They only do bangers.

Bought this game over the weekend for my 6 year old niece, and just got off the phone with her screaming how great it is. She loves dinosaurs and Stardew Valley. Almost like this game was meant for her.

Pleasant surprise to see it for $40. I loved the first Helldivers, but am disappointed the sequel isn't a top down twin stick shooter any longer.

I typically don't use settings to make the game easier, but I'm shutting this off. Glad it's an option. Having to avoid fall damage in a spiderman game doesn't sound like fun.

I'm super excited for this. Was hoping for the 2.0 update this week, but I'll wait patiently for next Thursday. Planning on starting a whole new playthrough.
