Neon Giant, the studio behind The Ascent, has shared its next game will be announced at The Game Awards next week.
A cryptic teaser with the tagline "nothing is off limits" was posted to the developer's social media handles today, with an accompanying image of a wall with some graffiti on it. You can see it below, with the confirmation of an 11th December reveal:
Swedish developer Neon Giant made its debut with The Ascent in 2021, an isometric shooter that made its way to PS5 a year later in 2022. At the time, we awarded a 7/10 score in our The Ascent PS5 review and said: "The Ascent's a solid, if somewhat repetitive shooter, propped up by eye-popping environments and a reasonable amount of RPG depth. If you can stomach some grindy mission design and the occasional buggy interaction, then there's explosive fun to be had here."
Going by the teaser image, it looks like Krafton will publish Neon Giant's next game, instead of Curve Digital. That is the same Krafton that's just gone all in on AI.
