Weird that it's extended just through the morning of a Monday. I tried it a bit over the weekend and found it very disappointing. Another half day wouldn't change my mind.
Ooooh that's a pleasant surprise. With the absolute Trainwreck the Parkitect console port is (so annoyed we can't refund broken games) I am soooo looking forward to this.
I like owning games I know I'd want day one. Subscription services like gamepass and PS plus is good for games I never would have tried if it wasn't available for free with the service.
Woooo great news. Now just need that Sky trilogy port and we are gold. Holding off buying on Steam as I wanna reserve my playthrough for PlayStation and have the full platinum collection
Would be a day one buy, but Daybreak comes out two days later. Reminds me of Planet Coaster coming out right before the PS5 launch where I had to set it aside until I had more time.
Depends if my time feels wasted. Cuphead vs Dark Souls 1 perfect example. Love Cuphead because I die, and I'm instantly back at the boss fight to try again. Ok Dark Souls you reload, and have to spend 10-15 minutes sometimes to get back to the boss you died to. Not fun when it takes several tries to git gud at the boss when you waste several hours just replaying the section to get to it. So not so much the difficulty being the issue, but rather the punishment of dying that turns me off.
Solid return to form for the franchise. Amazing music, world building, and boss fights. Decent enough game play. Terrible performance with fps drops and non existent RPG mechanics.
Fantastic achievement for Toys for Bob. I bet they are feeling proud while they continue their amazing work......making call of duty maps for the rest of time.
Correction: it was Vicarious Visions. Always get those 2 studios confused.
I own it but I'm long past just starting to worry. Long since accepted that Sony had no interest in supporting the system. Bought a Quest 3 at launch while my PSVR2 was sent to pasture.
The most confusing part of the increase to $70 games this generation is that almost 4 years later it's still not clear if a full priced game is $60 or $70.
I had no expectations as Bioware is a husk of its former self. Hard to expect them to meet the quality of their ps3 era games when it's practically an entirely new team at this point.
I feel stupid buying the DLC assuming the frame rate would be fixed by now. While enjoying the game, playing this at launch gave me quite a bit of motion sickness to the point I couldn't play for more than an hour at a time (and this is coming from a VR enthusiast.)
Walkabout Mini golf is amazing. Usually not a big proponent of DLC, but their additional maps are top notch. If you are to buy just one, I'd highly suggest the Meow Wolf one. Visually spectacular and some very interesting new mechanics as well.
Since the #1 would be obvious I was tempted to vote for either PoE2 or Monster Hunter. Honestly PoE 2 early access coming to ps5 might be the best surprise for me. But who am I kidding. Astro Bot looks amazing!
Not my style of game, but the gameplay looked solid. Definitely was expecting far worse than what we saw. Always a roll of the dice if games like these take off or not. Probably why Sony is hedging their bet with a dozen other live service games in the pipeline.
@Nem pretty much for that reason I try to make sure people are aware of the Cold Steel series and to treat it as two games instead of four. CS1&2 and CS3&4 are essentially just two mammoth games at least from a narrative perspective.
Yet another Persona 5 spinoff game. In all seriousness I didn't know the author's name was Leblanc. Nice nod adding not only Arsene and the Phantom Thieves but also the coffee shop named after the author.
Hmmm $130 to play on time with all available launch content, $70 to play 3 days late, or $20 when it's inevitably going to be on sale 2 months after launch with many bugs patched out. Always an easy decision with Ubi.
Definitely remember having this thought back in 2014. Pretty sure Doom (2016) and God of War (2018) broke those databases the same way though. So we will just have Madden 25 (2014) and Madden 25 (2024).
It wouldn't be a true Final Fantasy ending if there wasn't room for interpretation. One of the aspects I love about the series. I'm excited about all the theory crafting that's bound to happen over the next three years.
I actually tried playing it a few months ago (never played the DLC), but honestly I think this type of game design has passed me by. Felt the same with Starfield as well.
I really enjoyed watchdogs 2. Was excited for legion, and the prospect of open world London, but the previewing of it being a grandma simulator along with subpar reviews made me forget about it quite quickly.
@tselliot was just a joke that with long patch notes, and the only thing a lot of us are waiting for is a 60 fps patch, that Everytime there's a FF16 patch just quickly search to see if this is the patch that gives us 60fps. It isn't, so the waiting game continues.

Re: Hidetaka Miyazaki 'Knows for a Fact' FromSoftware Devs Want a Bloodborne PC Port
Sony wants a $70 remake to launch on both PS5 and PC. Similar to TLOU pt1. Would be a huge monkeys paw moment if the PC port is as bad as TLOU tho.
