If you're still enjoying the dino-park building fun to be found in Jurassic World Evolution, you'll be pleased to hear about the latest additions. A trio of creatures from the cretaceous period will be joining the roster of dinosaurs, further expanding your options for making your ideal reptilian resort. Say hello to the Iguanodon, Dreadnoughtus, and *deep breath* Carcharodontosaurus.
The game is to be updated to version 1.6 soon, the developer has said, which also brings new challenges and sandbox options to the title. An exact date hasn't been confirmed, but we imagine it isn't far off.

Is this game ever going to go on sale?
Is this game actually any good?
@get2sammyb right!?
@QualityGeezer watch a fair amount of gameplay near release - looked pretty good, with it's own quirks. Didn't want to pay fifty notes for it though.
@KALofKRYPTON I hear you mate. I'm always sceptical of movie tie in games
@get2sammyb Get out of my head.
Although I'm also kinda fearful of getting it because I feel like it could consume me for a good couple months.
Iguanodons are so cute, though!
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think the game looks pretty good, but I've been waiting for a sale on it.
Compared to something like Zoo Tycoon, this game seemed awfully shallow from what I've seen. And I'm not talking about the half-arsed Xbox One Zoo Tycoon.
I really want a go on this too. I'll snap it up for £15.99!
This is one of the games I was hoping to pick up during PSN's Black Friday sale. Alas, no dice.
@get2sammyb I know, right? I kinda want to play this, but not at full price – it's too risky! It's been on my wish list for ages.
I think the psn store has it on sale in there Holiday Christmas sale for 29.95 thats in the us
@get2sammyb yeah me too. Really want this to go on sale 😁
I have the game I played it for a while. It’s just another Sim game! I think I’ll enjoy it more with the sandbox addition coming. For those of you waiting I would continue to wait until it’s on sale.
@get2sammyb
I've been thinking the same, but it actually did go on sale here in the US for about 30% off I think? It wasn't enough to get me to bite, but it could mean the game will be price-dropping soon enough.
I've had my eye on this game for a while but I'm a bit hesitant to buy it for full price. The new dinos definitely entice me though, as this was a common complaint (no aquatic dinos).
@Onion There’s been one sale in Europe as well I believe but it barely reduced it.
@get2sammyb It's actually really good and fun! As the price goes, I ended up getting it by trading in a few games, but I was waiting for the wonderful "I bought it, now the price will drop" which never happened. $50 isn't too bad...The Sims take forever to go on sale, and they're always high in price too (especially high if you add in the DLC costs), but yeah, it's worth it...the only problem is if you end up spending all of your money, but there's a 'reset' button on the game, to where you can just re-start the whole level (granted you lose everything you did up to that point), but it's really good and the graphics are incredible for it!
Can't wait for the update, took a while off from playing it (Harvest Moon Light Of Hope and Horizon have been taking my time away from it). Great game with gorgeous graphics...was leary about paying the price for it, but it turned out to be worth it...granted it takes a while to learn the ropes of the game...plus, it has Jeff Goldblum's acting and voice, so it makes it worth it even more...granted it would have been nice to have Sam Neil's voice too!!!!
@get2sammyb There's a few games that are still high in price that I was wondering about (Cars 3 is one, as it looks like my kids would enjoy it, but I'm not one to pay $50 for a disney game...however I saw it's on sale for $10 on the store, I'd rather have it retail...the only other ones I've been waiting to go down in price...Friday The 13th...only because I want to keep it in the wrapper to keep as a keepsake...and the Sims 4 (seriously, if they're going to charge that much, include all of the DLC for free instead of charging extra $10 for just a few things).
I bought this game. Yes it’s really fun. If you love simulation games, it’s not overly complicated.
