There's always been something quite captivating about the Oddworld games and the weird, oppressive universe in which they're set. Most recently (okay, 2014 isn't actually that recent), the release of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty on PlayStation 4 was a great reminder of why the series is so intriguing.

And now here we are with a teaser for the franchise's next outing. Oddworld: Soulstorm, a remake of PSone classic Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, was first hinted at back in 2016, and going by the aforementioned teaser, the series should soon be back with a bang. There's no gameplay here since it's just a glimpse of the title's opening cinematic, but boy has it made us hyped for more Oddworld.

Hopefully we get more information on Soulstorm in the relatively near future.
