I had to go through 20 idiotic mouse pictures things for them to tell me there is an error. Apparently Sony employees phoned it in after the announcement this week.

@RevGaming I got 100% for the base game in 87 hours. I would imagine not doing that yI would have beat the game in around 40-50 hours.

As others have mentioned, it appears to be broken.

@nessisonett That game was probably one of the hardest games for me to finish in the past couple years. It just is not good.

@theheadofabroom Nothing wrong with that of course. But seeing as how I’m paying for PS+ for me, whether it’s crap or not is based on whether it’s good for me. There have been a couple months this year where people thought it was crap but I liked them, so it’s all just a matter of opinion.

@theheadofabroom I guess it depends how you look at it. To me it’s a crap selection because I don’t want anything they have to offer. If you’re looking at it from the perspective of what “critics” think then you’d probably say it’s not crap.

Apparently I just don’t get Deathloop. I thought it was mediocre to the core and I actually had to force myself to finish it.

The shooting is average at best, the stealth is broken and the story was meh. Colt and Julianna banter was the high point.

According to the trophy for Act 3, 30.6% of players have it. So it doesn’t seem like the folks using how long to beat are entirely representative of the Sony ecosystem.

Graphics looks fine but if I recall this game was supposed to be the best looking open world game ever made, not sold on that.

Also, as other people have said, it looks so empty.

@KilloWertz Agreed. Then PS owners would whine like Xbox owners do now about the long exclusivity.

The Godfall stuff is a joke. The end game stuff got boring real fast so the version they’re giving misses out on all the good stuff. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Very disappointing that Spider-Man gets no story missions. Like someone else said, it looks like they just threw him in the game because they had a previous commitment to do so.

The fact that Returnal and Forza 5 didn’t make the list is a joke.

Also, Deathloop was mediocre at best and will likely win.

I got the game for $19.99 on a sale and don't regret it one bit. I'm sad I waited so long to get it after seeing so many negative comments about it.

That being said, are we 100% sure we will actually get to play as Spider-Man in this game, or just Peter Parker? Their little blurb specifically brings up Ms. Marvel and Black Widow. I wonder if you play as them with him being someone like Hank Pym in the main campaign. I can't see how his web swinging would work in this game, it's not made for that.

It’s a 6 from me. The stealth is terrible. The AI is not good. The shooting is serviceable but lacks many weapons. The story is the most interesting part along with Julianna/Colt banter. The different locations and times don’t really add anything. The game became a chore to finish by the end. It’s hard for me to fathom how anyone would give this a 10 with all of its issues.

After the first couple hours I wondered whether I would even finish the game. I’m nearing the end and while I don’t think it’s a great game, it’s decent. It’s a cool idea, but the gameplay just isn’t for me. I’m shocked this game is getting 10s as I don’t see it anywhere close to that.

Started this yesterday and definitely was not expecting it to be so much stealth. My understanding was it was more or less a shooter. So far, if you want to get into a shootout you’re as good as dead. I have to say I’m disappointed in the game so far. I’m about 2 hours in, maybe that will change.

@NEStalgia Nothing strange really, Sony is really good at nickel and diming people as of late. This seems par for the course.

Hadn’t played one before so tried out the demo and it didn’t draw me in enough to buy it right now.

What exactly were people expecting that didn’t like the show?

Have to see how this plays out. Gwent was the only thing in TW3 I didn’t like.

I’d just love UC4 to get 4K/60fps so I can replay it on PS5 but I’m asking a lot.

To all those mocking @pimpjuice, the game certainly had an agenda. Whether that makes it good or bad is up to each persons opinion.

@get2sammyb This game has more content and is equally as fun as R&C Rift Apart and that game was $70. I really hope no one in the comments bought that digitally.

Played about 5 hours so far. The art style isn’t my favorite but that’s my only complaint. It controls really well, the characters and story have been great so far and the powers you get are fun. It feels like what would happen if Comedy Central made a R&C game to me.

Sure seems like Sony tried to shove as many games as they could when PS5 launched and were banking on this for end of 2021 and now they have nothing.

It’s mind boggling that no one can take the worlds biggest IP and make a good game.

@Steel76 The ones you’re tired of are what sells consoles for Sony. It’s the only reason I have a PS5. It would be commercial suicide for them to pivot from that.

Will be starting Hades pretty soon. I sure hope the game design is better than Returnal.

Returnal has excellent combat and graphics but I hate the “story” presentation and the game design is one of the worst I’ve ever played. It’s like it was deliberately created to make things as awful as possible for players. Bloodborne blows Returnal out of the water for me. I hated Returnal so much I just stopped playing it which is a shame because the moment to combat is so good.
