@itsfoz I think GoT is a fantastic game with a solid story. You’ll get some good mileage out of it as well if you’re going to do everything. I believe the platinum took me around 43 hours. You’ll also have the new expansions as well as the Legends mode.

@Pusher2021 I played about 4 hours and couldn’t beat the first boss. You need some good luck to acquire the right things to see you up for success it appears. It’s a bit frustrating to have played 4 hours and made zero progress. I may come back to it but for now I’m moving on.

Pretty interested in this one, looks like a lot of fun.

@Pusher2021 The complete lack of progress. 😂 Bloodborne is tough but you don’t completely start over, this is a whole new level of suffering.

@Total_Weirdo 2023 sounds good to me. I loved the first game with Peter but after playing the Miles game I prefer Miles over Peter but will be happy with either.

I’ve seen the Netflix reference a lot and o can see the comparison to an extent.

If Microsoft has all their first party studios not try and make good games then they deserve to fail and I’ll be down to owning a PS5 only.

Until their first party stuff comes out and it’s not good I think you’re prematurely digging their grave. We will know within the next 2-3 years if it’s going to be any good.

@Olmaz If the games they put out suck then sure, it’s bad. As of right now, that’s just speculation. If Halo and Forza 5 are trash then I’d say it’s very bad.

@mucc You are correct that people generally have to pay for GamePass. With their frequent deals of $1/month or $1/3 months plus Ms rewards I have 1.5 years of GamePass for $1. So to me, any games they bring to GamePass is essentially free. I doubt I’m alone in this approach.

It’s a very good thing for MS consumers, it’s not good for other system owners. As @Ralizah mentioned, timed exclusivity doesn’t help any consumers. So while MS buying stuff only helps GamePass folks it’s better than no one. I don’t know that either way is wrong or right but in terms of outcomes with GamePass someone at least wins. But you are correct in saying that MS could buy games for GamePass without buying studios which they often do. It absolutely would be better if PS Now was as easy to acquire and Sony bought games for it but that’s not their approach.

I have both consoles so I’m happy regardless. I imagine the people who get mad about this stuff only have one console which is understandable.

@fR_eeBritney I think it was just so slow that it was wearing me down. I understand they went for realistic play and I can appreciate that but it just wasn’t my style. Looking back on the story, it was fantastic.

Poor Roach. He was pretty janky in TW3, that was one of the only complaints I really had. But technically RDR2 is probably better. I’ll be curious to see how TW3 is in PS5. The side quest writing is probably the best I’ve ever seen in a game for TW3. I hope you can get into it and enjoy.

@fR_eeBritney That’s so interesting. I found RDR2 to be significantly worse to play than TW3. RDR2 has excellent writing but the gameplay just killed it for me. TW3 excelled at both for me.

@anoyonmus What?? Would be amazing. It’s already heavily rumored. Injustice games are great, swapping for Marvel wouldn’t hurt at all.

@Jayslow You think it’s still 2-3 years away? I think it will be next year towards fall with FF7 Part 2 in 2023.

@naruball Thanks! This is the first I’ve seen PS numbers so that’s pretty interesting. I would have gotten a month to play it if it wasn’t the old PS4 version.

I think the game will eventually go free to play so I’m holding out for that as I’m only interested in the story part.

@Loftimus I have an older wired HyperX headset and it works with 3D audio so I imagine almost any wired headset will do.

@soulofman5446 I haven’t played much PS5 since I finished R&C. Just been playing GamePass since then. Love having both.

I do agree that the PS Home Screen is more pleasant.

We still don’t know very much about this but I can’t say this excites me right now. I really liked Odyssey and Origins. Valhalla was good but had waaaaaaaay too much in it. I was hoping they would revert back to the Odyssey/Origins type game but they apparently are going in a very different direction.

Xbox was a dumpster fire last gen and Sony still maintains a massive lead in sales which isn’t surprising. That, however, doesn’t invalidate anything I said.

Can’t say that I’m a fan of their lack of communication amongst other things.

While they clearly have a huge edge in exclusive games over Microsoft, that seems to be it at this point. Microsoft is crushing them in consumer friendliness, communication, value, etc.

Obviously we have no clue what they’re doing behind closed doors but I hope they can see what others see regarding their way of doing things right now compared to the others.

I think making it like the DLC with one playable character (kind of like DA:I) would make it more accessible for people since it’s less confusing but I’d prefer that you can swap to multiple characters.

Really hope the new game is the rumored Marvel one.

@WallyWest I would agree with this. The story for that movie was so bad. He stood out for me in it.

@AgentGuapo You’re correct but how is that good for anyone? Being obstinate about prices and not letting a developer put their game on sale is complete nonsense.

Plague Tale is very solid if you haven’t played it yet. I’ve been wanting to try Battlegrounds but had no desire to pay for it so cool. Not much of a CoD fan though.

@JapaneseSonic No worries at all. I love PS exclusives and I love GamePass. Win/win for me. I get called a PS fanboy on Pure Xbox so it goes both ways.

@JapaneseSonic In this specific scenario it’s the people saying Microsoft just paid for companies. Not very bad here. In other articles I’ve been ganged up on for supporting anything Xbox.
