not surprising, most retail game section are controllers and headphones now. when Amazon used to give me a top 100 best sellers it’s pretty much the same. The writing has been plastered across the wall for years now most of my fellow collectors/hoarders chose to ignore it

i’d be more interested in seeing how the switch 2 multi platform games are doing in comparison to playstation at this point.

my top two would be mixed tape and saros, the only other two games from 2026 that i have played were re9 and crimson desert. Requiem was one of the weaker modern resident evils and Crimson Desert was an overstuffed suitcase filled with unfinished ideas.

all i remember about aveum is that i made it to the credits,, aggressively bland game that could have been better.

the start of the ps3’s life was rather bleak but it never felt that sony was seconds away from abandoning playstation like it does now with microsoft and xbox.
