Looks like a bare bones port of a former switch exclusive, PS2 level jaggies, bad writing and voice acting, generic characters. I was interested but this is gonna be a hard pass.

On the 5 I’ll be playing a few levels at a time in astrobot to maximize joy and a few levels at time in tomb raider 1 remastered to maximize frustration. On my IBM compatible computer I’ll be playing dead space 2 and half life alyx.

I’ve owned every PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo home console except for the SNES along with a couple of Sega systems, including the 32X and the Xbox series X is the first system I regret purchasing.

If you spend a few hundred million making a game why not spruce it up every few years. But then again, most people here seem to get upset at it the thought of a new horizon or the last of us Sony‘s two biggest IP’s getting made so who the ***** cares what alleged fans really want.

I’ll take ports of the first two games, Driver sanfran was is a great game, but it didn’t feel like a driver game.
Actually, I’d really like to see drivTHREEr and stuntman get some port treatment first because both those games are stuck on ps2 and unplayable on emulators.

@S727 then they would be having issues because PCSX2 still has issues itself. I haven’t been using pcsx2 for long but pretty much every game I’ve played so far has had problems, random crashes, broken AI, Those 60fps patches have a habit of breaking gameplay, so even though implicit conversions/Sony new ps2 emulator may be missing a lot of bells and whistles of pcsx2 right now at least it’s been stable for me so far and the ability to rewind gameplay is fantastic, i’ll take it over being able to play in 4K any day of the week.
