i still think the ps1 version is the best looking version.

it took me a few minutes to figure out how the multi pairing works, wasn’t the way i was expecting.
i would have checked out the power saver mode but there’s no supported games right now and you can’t force it on unsupported games.

i have been zoning out during the animus and magic ancient egg storylines for the past 20 years so this gets a big 👍

the lack of ps premium games this month makes me think they held some classics back to announce during a showcase.

every game should have these options.

i’ll be feasting on rats in vtm bloodlines and trying to find some enjoyment in everybody’s hot shots golf. outside of gaming i’ll be painting model kits and trekking to the old fart hobby store across town.

I wish we could get some the last of us games unrelated to Joel and Ellie, maybe go full survivor horror or town management sim with a spin off. it’s such a great universe and there’s so many possibilities sh*t maybe even an Abbey fitness game would be fun

sword of the sea gets the default victory, but if i did play any of the other games released in august it still would have got my vote

good for konami, but i don’t think i’m up for purchasing mgs3 for the seventh time in my life right now.

I don’t know if I’m more disappointed that it’s just the PS1 version running on implicit conversions emulator, or that they needed to change how the save states and rewind function work to make it appear different from all the other PS1/2/psp classics running on the same emulator.

@Balaam_ yup keeping in a 400+ hour trophy that was only included on the 360 to pad user engagement stats is a bucket of turds.

This is kind of a mixed bag. It’s great that they’re available on new hardware but at the same time the only people who play the classic releases for longer than five minutes are trophy hunters.

I think I’m neutral on b6 from what I’ve played, it can by entertaining at times but it also feels like I’ve been playing the exact same game for the last 20 years.

I’ll be playing asscreed syndicate on the 5pro along with some donkey Kong bananarama and mars war logs on the side. I will give battlefield 6 a few more matches but so far I do not care for it.

Booted up my ps3 out of curiosity, needed to do a system firmware update, the classic PlayStation 3 experience.

The only thing I can remember about starfield is finding out that the Xbox series X doesn’t support hdr in 1440p

Fu*k 60fps an increase of unique npc heads is what’s really needed, you get used to 30fps after 20 minutes but seeing the same four heads with and without goatees used on hundreds of npc for 70+ hours start to cause a little madness.

It’s amazing what you can do when you spend $80 billion + and fail spectacularly. If Microsoft didn’t spend that money all these game would still be on this list except forza horizon 5.

I’m still slogging through Clair obscur on the 5pro. I also impulse bought a switch U so fast fusion and donkey kong bananarama on it.

I’ll be finishing off the remaining trophies that my skill level can manage in tony hawk 3+4 and I’ll be taking screenshots of all the creepy smiling in Clair obscur.
I’ll probably play something in vr, maybe I’ll see if I can still murder Mads Mickelsen in Hitman.

@Dodoo amazon.ca, it’s still difficult to get a physical copy of Clair 33 in Canada plus I took advantage of a pricing error so I may have been kicked to the back of the queue by amazon in the hope that I would cancel my pre-order.

Sucks that one of the main reasons preventing releases of classic games is music licensing, at least these guys found a way around it by just stealing everything I guess.

English unless the main character voice actor is as bad as she was in dragon age then I’d grudgingly switch to Japanese.

Developers need to patch in some texture warping for that true ps1/saturn feel.
