It's still a good six months or so until Exodus releases on PS5, so developer Archetype Entertainment's got plenty of time to tweak its Mass Effect-style RPG.

And that's exactly what it's done with the game's main character, Jun.

In a fairly surprising update from the studio, general manager Chad Robertson reveals that the team has actually changed the male protagonist's face due to feedback from potential players.

Indeed, if you go back and look at the comments sections of previous trailers — of which there have been quite a few — you'll find plenty of people having a pop at Jun's old mug.

And so the developer's given him a new one. The overall length of Jun's face has been reduced, and his more rounded features have been sharpened a bit.

Here's a direct comparison, with old Jun on the left, and new Jun on the right:

As you may already know, or might have guessed, Jun is not a fully customisable protagonist.

While you can choose between being a male or female Jun, you can't change their facial structure. You can, however, customise their hairstyle, facial hair, eye colour, makeup, and tattoos.

Do you think the new Jun better than the old one? Consider remodelling your own face in the comments section below.
