The Twisted Metal TV show has just wrapped up filming on its third season.
That's according to Spencer Combs, a cinematographer on the show, posting on Instagram.
The post includes several behind-the-scenes photos, showing various scenes and fellow members of the cast and crew.
"This has been one the hardest—and most rewarding—projects I’ve ever been a part of," Combs writes. "I could not be more proud of what we accomplished together."
"We raced cars. We blew s*** up. We laughed A LOT (and cried). We bled (some of us), lost sleep, pushed ourselves to the limit—and somehow loved every minute of it."
Combs says he's "incredibly proud" of the work he and the crew accomplished on season three, achieving "some truly amazing images" for the show.
A release date for season three is not yet known, but it'll likely arrive sometime in 2027. It's set to include Mark Hamill as part of the ensemble.
It really is a shame there's no game to go along with the show; it was heavily rumoured that UK developer Firesprite was working on something, but that never emerged and is almost certainly cancelled.
Still, it shouldn't be too long before you can get your Twisted Metal fix via Peacock's live action show, starring Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz.
