About to have some time off from gaming to take the family camping but first I’ll finish up Hell is Us. I also hope to begin to wrap up Wuchang

I did manage to finish Death Stranding 2 and it’s easily top 3 games this year for me.

Moving forward I’ll either start Cronos or Silent Hill F or Shinobi. I’m really stuck between the two horror games as which to place first so any community input I would love to hear!

I would have loved to have seen what the cost of this would have been had economic conditions been different. It's a shame, but it also makes me a firm believer that I would rather be an early adopter on electronics now than a late one.

Funny how that has shifted. I suppose that means I should get my Switch 2 sooner rather than later for the same reasons.

Finishing up the incredible Death Stranding 2 which picked up speed after Chapter 10. What a wild ride!

Then wrapping up Hell is Us and Wuchang if possible because I am itching to get to Cronos.

However this PS Sale also has me eyeing up a few games that I’ve contemplated buying for awhile now so who knows!

I am just not excited; however, I know many will enjoy it, and I know once I begin playing it, I will definitely feel the hype that seems to be building around it.

This is very high on my to-do list when it finally arrives. I am terrible at fighting games, and I am burnt out on Marvel, but I am liking this footage, and I think this will be a worthwhile experience.

@Vyse_the_Legend yea I figured. I just wondered what was worth me putting it at the top of my to do list in your opinion. Is the combat exciting, does it have an engrossing story, is it a sum of all its parts? What has you going back to it that I should move it up the list. Just looking for thoughts.

@Vyse_the_Legend I’ve always wanted to dive into Resonance of Fate; what do you think is the biggest reason for someone who missed it when it released to take a chance on it?

Greetings all! Working on Hell is Us this weekend. I Absolutely love the games environment and the puzzles and the lack of a map.

I also fired back up Death Stranding 2 again and Chapter 9 really drove home for me why Kojima games are so great.

Lastly if time I’ll continue some runs in Maniac or maybe circle back to work more on Wuchang

I am very deep into Hell is Us but still working on Wuchang and Death Stranding 2 as well. I don’t like balancing three big games at once but I also am enjoying the variety.

My hope is to move to Cronos next! And get back to Sword of the Sea

@ThroughTheIris56 Metal Eden was on my radar but so many other games released. I loved Ruiner and the studio who made it is awesome.

Well fellow gamers, so many games to play. I’m working on Hell is Us, Wuchang and Death Stranding 2

That doesn’t include the half finished Ender Magnolia and the First Beserker final boss.

And sitting in the backlog Unicorn Overlord and Rogue PoP .

Why are there so many good games??! I still would like to get to Cronos and Mafia and Doom the Dark Ages or Gears of War or Shinobi !

Although I did not play Mafia yet, I think the Push square faithful have to remember that we all play a lot of games. So to call it mediocre does not matter here. The Average Jim sees a Mafia game, sees how cinematic it looks and says wow this looks good. Many of the games I talk about with casual gamers they’ve never heard of, but your COD, BF6, Mafias, Genshin Impact, Overwatch, and GTAs do tend to look more appealing to them and when I bring those up their eyes light up. The only hardcore game I’ve ever seen cross that barrier was Elden Ring, and as of this week, SilkSong somehow.

Between this and Hell is Us, I don't know I will have time for any other games this year. We are spoiled! Mafia, Shinobi, Wuchang, Borderlands 4, etc. All of these quality titles coming out.

I am glad they knocked it out of the park with this one and seem to be earning the trust of their audience to make quality titles.

@Darude84 I believe the demo was only up for a limited time. I remember people saying on Steam it was taken down; may be true of PSN too.

I’m sold. I’ll get the deluxe today and start tonight!

Death Stranding 2 has made a reappearance in my gaming rotation. What a bizarre and great game.

Otherwise most of my time is on Wuchang Fallen Feathers right now along with Sword of the Sea and Ender Magnolia, which is not as good in its story and Lillies but has refined combat.

Just started 5 on a whim on PS5 this past week. I assume @get2sammyb that most of this, if you've played 5, feels like jumping from sports titles year to year? What, if any, changes beyond featured lines do you reckon are worth jumping tracks for?

@PCPS4XB That is where I stopped! I can do the first phase with my eyes closed but I just cannot get reflections down in the second phase enough to get through him. And then thinking about having a third phase to master has just completely shut me down.

I finally surrendered on First Beserker as the final boss is above me.

So I’ve poured time into finishing Ragebound and that was a phenomenal 2D Ninja Gaiden game.

I also checked out Sword of the Sea and loved it.

So now I’m waiting on Hell is Us and playing Wuchang in the meantime.

@Steeleye50 I like the look of it. Did the beta give you an indication of the type of MTX and what type of expectation is set for F2P model? I really enjoyed Genshin and other F2P games but nothing kept me hooked past the 15-20 hour mark when I started to see where grind would eventually replace progress.

Everything is derivative now but I’m sold. I like jank, I like the slightly disturbing real unreal look of it all. Heck I even think the gameplay looks like a good weekend romp. In other words, it checks all the wrong boxes in the right way and I’m all for it. And Adam Jensen VA, well you sold me. Plus when will I ever get a Morpheus knock off again?

@PuppetMaster Furi is fantastic and one of those games I often think about. The speed and bosses and aesthetic are all perfect. More boss rush games of that caliber are needed. Titan Souls is the only other game I recall from an indie dev being up there for me.

I’ve all but surrender on First Beserker as I’m at the final boss and I can wipe the floor with him first stage but he annihilates me in the 2nd. So that platinum is in hold.

Meanwhile I’m working on Wuchang where I just passed the first arguably tough boss; a certain female in a pond.

Edit: throw Hell is Us in there too absolutely loved it.

Ninja Gaiden RageBound and Battlefield 6 beta round out my weekend. I never thought I’d enjoy a MP shooter again as much as I am this one. Enjoy the weekend all!

This is a great month for users! Wow! Unicorn Overlord for me is enough to justify this month.

On the last boss of First Beserker for the platinum and it’s been a battle. I’m tempted to lower the difficulty and forego the platinum and move on.

I also really want to get back to Death Stranding 2 and Ninja Gaiden RageBound and Wuchang all of which I’m cycling through.

There’s just so much to play!

I am going to be patient, as I really cannot wait for this on PS5, even though Switch is probably the better fit for it.

I loved Ruiner and was pumped for this, but the demo was a little rough. They delayed it based on feedback, so if they can nail down the movement a bit more, it will be golden.

I know nothing of this series except that I always hear it’s underrated. Much like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Trilogy I’ll give it a go to get a flavor for the original before I settle on the newest one.

This weekend I may finally get the platinum in First Beserker of Khazan and then I’ll continue my playthrough of WuChang (I’m using a guide to avoid missing entire regions of the game). I also will continue to drive my way through Death Stranding 2 and there is Ninja Gaiden Ragebound sitting there. So much to play!!

@Smash41 Console Wars by Blake Harris. Phenomenal read on how Sega wanted to capture the market share Nintendo had and intentionally attacked them in ads and marketing.

@LifeGirl I’m going out on a limb to guess you probably weren’t old enough to remember the Sega and Nintendo clash in the 90s. There was an actual attempt to undermine and eliminate the other’s market share completely in a console war. Pick up the excellent book about it if you’d like 👍

Death Stranding 2 all weekend baby. Maybe I’ll finally wrap up First Beserker and then I can split my time between DS2 and Wuchang. And I’ve got a certain play test I’m in I cannot speak about so I’ll be doing that too! Happy gaming everyone!

@Northern_munkey had to scroll down a bit to find someone making sense over the review versus personal opinion. I feel the same about Khazan and I’m excited for this one. YouTubers who cover souls games almost exclusively seem to like this one so I’m good. I’ve seen and read enough.

But what do I know? I loved Wanted:Dead because it really forced you to play it a certain style and that didn’t jibe with most people.

Still grinding through Death Stranding 2

I’m also stuck on a boss in First Beserker which is not unusual. I spend days working through those because the little ones afford me little time to practice.

Finally, I’ve gotten an itch for the First Descendant mainly because it’s Live Service Slop and I’m preparing to earn the Nier gear.

I loved it. I easily bought enough digitally to earn upwards of $100 in store credit or more just for buying and playing like I normally did. It’s a shame it basically died like the vita. Bad strategy and lack of interest.

As someone who work with teens these comments are all painfully unaware of where and what kids play. Believe it or not Fortnite, Roblox, and games like Genshin Impact or other F2P games eat up my students time when we talk about gaming. I occasionally get the kid who loves RPGs, or something beyond sports and F2P, but the Gen Z audience is different.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I got several chapters or levels in and remember quitting because I hit a wall. What started out, as I recall, as tactical and fun became a management of AP and position to a degree that felt like it wanted me to move through the level in a very particular way.

I’ll be on the beach with Death Stranding 2 along with First Beserker and Ender Magnolia, even though the latter 2 have fallen by the way side for the first.

What an incredible time of gaming. If anyone believes there’s nothing to play, they haven’t opened the browser on the store!

@Kraven I agree on all you said about DS2. Dollman is a blast!

No one seems to have mentioned, and I am sure this is not on accident, that Kojima chose the voice actor for Dollman who also happens to play Jesus in The Chosen. Surely the tiny doll who helps guide you and give you advice being the character of Jesus in another piece of media is no accident on Kojima’s part.

@RaZieLDaNtE Khazan has made a lot of changes since it first came out, so by the time you get to it I imagine it’ll be ina very strong form. Added difficulty options are nice as it’s the hardest Soulslike I’ve ever played.

And DS2 is exactly what Kojima needed it to be as you said. Refined gameplay and more of his weirdness and vision!

Other than that I dabble in First Beserker; I am three bosses away from being done.

Lastly, I’ll dive into a few backlog games when time allows.

Before kids I would have been all over this. With 3 of them under 6 running around, I’ll let others enjoy it lol

Waiting for Death Stranding 2 this week so I am considering The Alters. Other than that trying to work on Khazan though I think I’m giving up in favor on Ender’s Magnolia.

I may go back to Sinking City this week until DS releases.
