I have the PS4 version of ER downloaded and making progress to Lucaria before diving into Erdtree, and I downloaded my completed PS5 version so I can dive straight into Erdtree. So I hope to experience it with both characters.

Other than that more Rise of the Ronin and continuing my Diamond Dynasty Season 2 in The Show 24.

Slowly making progress in Rise of Ronin.

I want to finish Rebirth but after 60 hours and being on Chapter 11, I’m tired boss. Too much responsibility and too much to play to want to keep going even though I love it. So I’ll come back at some point.

I’ve also got to finish a few other games if I feel up to it.

May need to redownload FC24 with Euro being played.

Most likely back into FF7 Rebirth to finally wrap it up. Rise of the Ronin as well.

Oddly MLB The Show has its hooks in me. I’m getting older and baseball has come back into my life this year. Call it a mid life crisis or nostalgia lol

@Darude84 sorry for the delay! What I remember for the ones I needed (once I looked them up) was doing the run backwards from the end of biome 2 so I could access the room faster. Depends on what you need but most of the ciphers have a pattern that once you know what room it is supposed to be in and the rooms that may lead to that you can quickly sprint through then die.

@Darude84 I loved the platinum hunt. One or two ciphers were a bit grindy, but as you said it never got old and I got so good at recognizing what rooms had spawned I knew within a minute whether to restart that biome.

Having snagged the Stellar Blade Platinum, i am now working in the Animal Well Platinum too. Finished the game technically, but I know that the eggs and other things mean there is much more to do.

Dove back into Rebirth. Left off on Chapter 11, going to finally see it through so I have more time for Rise of the Ronin. That should cover the weekend!

Next week I’m out of town a few days, right when V Rising comes out, so I’ll have that to return too!

I’d love to see a Solid Snake performance but Kojima and Konami would have to make amends for that movie to reach its potential. Despite what others say about Kojima, the man has his status for a reason and continues to make some of the best games out there. DS was brilliant if you played it.

Stellar Blade Platinum is close!

Animal Well also has its hooks in me right now. So I’ll cycle between that and Rise of the Ronin, which I’m really enjoying. The gameplay is what makes it. Not as strong as Nioh or Wo Long, but more relaxed in it’s opening hours.

As an educator, there is a direct correlation between this and what I see in class. People just do not want to engage in critical thinking or really be forced to problem solve.

A reasonable price (same on Steam if I can recall), and from what I hear, an incredible game. Cannot wait!

Other than that some Rise of the Ronin and Tales of Kenzara. Really I’m going to playing the same stuff for awhile because well, 2 kids.

But summer is rolling up fast and I’m hoping for more time to game!

Still working on Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin and a few others. Too many games! Looking forward to summer and just working away on these slowly. So tough as a parent to get that time in!

This is incredible, but I sense the winner will be someone we find has a YouTube channel or a strong background in video production, which makes it less appealing to the average man like myself 😂

I do believe they are looking to add a boss rush mode.

GhostRunner 2 and Tunic are great. There is just no pleasing people. They like to login here and keep their sub so they can call it a crap month every month.

I’ll return to Rebirth soon and DD2 but if it isn’t Stellar Blade I will work on wrapping of Tales of Kenzara, and maybe Balatro.

@Tchunga the section after the desert is linear again. And I am about finished with it and I think it’ll open back up. Seems to alternate between the two.

Not to be the grammarian here, but it is technically sold at full price. Better wording might be to state the Helldivers is being sold at below MSRP expectations.

Anyway, happy for the success of this game. It is very well deserved!

@GeeEssEff I was also put off, but then dove in. After a couple of hours with it, and putting it on the highest difficulty available from the start, it still feels like a Team Ninja game. It blends some of Nioh with some of Wo Long, and so far I am very pleased.

I would love some sort of spin off adventure, maybe in the style of their old arcade games, starring Selene. Maybe Nex Machina or Matterfall or even Resogun style adventure with her or aboard the ship.

I wish I had the patience to stick with Strive until they released him. I stuck a lot of time into GG Strive, but then I moved on. He looks great here and maybe I’ll fire it back up for him, but probably not.

@mariomaster96 Agreed. I think when you see the final product tomorrow, people will realize its a big ghost chase and just the same talking points screaming into the echochamber about censorship. There's no validity to anything about their claims and honestly it is not a big deal on that front.

@thefourfoldroot1 I don't seem to see any sources that corroborate that claim, so I would be skeptical of what he says about the outfits.

This comments section sounds like a real kill joy at times. Here's to enjoying video games. Stoked for this one and it will probably be my GOTY contender because it checks all the right boxes for me.

Ch. 10 of Rebirth. I’m loving and ready to move on at the same time. I’d like to finish up before Stellar Blade this week.

In theory, every studio wants or proclaims their next game will be their "biggest yet" or "best game" to date. I give them the benefit of the doubt, but the proof, as they say, is in the pudding. I am excited for what they do next, as they opened the gates for me to CRPGs through BG3.

I want to keep going in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but the lack of fast travel for most of the game thus far has made it more of a slow journey. And I’d like to clear a game or two before Stellar Blade!

@UltimateOtaku91 I wish this were completely true, but in my own family and friend group that game, I am the only one who plays new releases or mostly single player. And I fear that sentiment is more widespread than we think. My sibling plays exclusively Fornite and my friends rotate between Fortnite, Rocket League, and now Helldivers 2. They will play new Sony 1st party releases, and the occasional Ubisoft game.

Perfect. I've been looking to dive into this one, but have been swimming through so many new releases that I just haven't bitten buying it yet. I have no doubt it'll hook me in once I give it a go!

Despite the vitriol around this game I’m enjoying it. I never got into one despite two attempts, but this one I can’t stop thinking about being a dozen hours or so in.

@Johnnycide critical reception has been poor. From what I can tell the Nioh fan base is still enjoying it.

@Nepp67 yea I tend to trust him since he and I have identical taste. When he said deep sale that was enough for me to wait.

It’s funny to see the difference between media and Redditors. It seems like there’s a much larger chunk of the community enjoying it than would appear. I still trust Fightin Cowboy for his review, which aligns to a degree with Push Square.

I’ll be getting it on sale as I love Team Ninja and will have my own fun with it at a lower price.

@Nepp67 in the same boat. Played maybe 3-4 hours of the first one and was frustrated by some of it. Maybe a time and place thing. This looks more like I’d get immersed in it, and I’ve also found sometimes a sequel speaks to me in a way the first one didn’t (BOTW vs Tears of the Kingdom).

FF7 Rebirth and Balatro for now. Some F1 races if I have time.

I really want Dragon’s Dogma 2 but I am trying to not push Rebirth into the backlog!

@StrickenBiged Last night I had that happen in game. One of them mounted a charger and seemed to become one with it. Was not sure if it was a glitch or not, although the charger did not take off as it only needed to run forward to obliterate me.

I'll be there day 1. I love games that play with setting (Steelrising, Vampyr, Banishers Ghosts of New Eden) and shift it away from high fantasy all the time.

@nessisonett I agree, I just worry Sony will read it as 8 years of dev time and rebooting it at some point only helped the cause and claim we should take our time with games! I also wonder if they cancelled something like Factions prematurely, and if it would have been different had HD2 released before cancelling the project. Might have seen it as a chance to release $40 factions and watch people devour it (I would play it at that price as I loved the first go round).

I'll still watch this, despite being able to imagine that BoS member being floated down to the ground on invisible strings. I just can't unsee it.

@Bagwag82 I think the easiest solution to this is to just look away. If I see an article on here not for me, I do not click on it, but rather find those that I find worth reading. Hence, I read HellDivers 2 to support the PushSquare team (and because it interests me), but completely skip a review for something like Alone in the Dark (because it does not interest me). Don't forget, they've a business to run, and have to decide on what receives clicks and what does not. Enough of the community here plays these two games to make it worth writing about.

Was hoping this would come to consoles so I could give it a proper go.

@JonnyAces I had the same itch as I watch Shōgun. Couldn’t decide between replaying Ghost or Wo Long or Nioh as I really just want to be in the mood to use a sword in that type of setting!
