@Deadlyblack @thebakerswife Right with you both. Online influencers: people who'll promote anything if the money or reward is good enough. But I guess you can't blame the ESA when a huge percentage of the population will put their belief and trust in someone, dependent on how many subscribers or likes they have.
Well deserved. Don't quite understand some of these interactive movie comments. TLOU is certainly no Resident Evil. Those games really began to get boring with all their QT events.
@Tasuki In the UK two fingers up (hand turned the opposite way around to the peace sign) is a way of telling people to go away and procreate. Or to F-off if you want it in simpler terms.
The Last of Us was my choice. Though, for me, Everybody's gone to the Rapture needs an honourable mention. That game introduced me to a whole different side of gaming I didn't know existed and probably wouldn't have touched.
@carlos82 unfortunately I'm a complete doughnut and, getting fed up of having two Fallout icons in my games list, deleted the old one, forgetting it deletes the save files. Also when I do a cock-up I like to do it to the best of my ability, so I was, at that time, taking a break from PS plus. So no online backup either... we live and learn. lol On one of my plots I was trying to see if it was possible to build a basic working computer using logic gates and ballbearing machines. With all the wiring it looked like a telephone exchange from hell. I've never had the heart to start again. lol
@carlos82 yeah. I just double checked to make sure I'm not talking rubbish. It's just the standard edition. I remember being gutted because I'd stuck a few hundred hours in and built some rather complex bases etc. then lost everything.
@carlos82 Thought I'd say just incase. You're probably correct but I bought the standard edition both digitally and physical as I remember purchasing the DLCs separate.
@DonJorginho Be careful with Skyrim if you've already been playing it on a physical copy. Not sure if it's the same as Fallout 4 but I bought the digital version after owning the physical copy and save files don't cross over. They act as two separate applications.
I remember playing this through on co-op with a friend. It was a fun couple of hours. I don't mind games that aren't action based. I absolutely fell in love with Everybody's gone to the Rapture. This didn't quite hit me in the same way but it was pleasant enough.
Agreed. As long as it was fully compatible with all PS5 games and not just the back catalog. My one wish for any future controller is improved L2 and R2 triggers. As someone who plays a lot of driving games I find they're the first thing to suffer. Not really noticeable in a lot of games but on driving games... oh and on Tearaway unfolded, it's really shows up that the design could be improved a lot. I'm on my 6th controller now.
I wouldn't buy a pro controller this close to the next gen. I'd certainly be interested in one for the PS5. Might look at the attachment though since I can easily just switch it between any of my current controllers.
It looks stunning. But I hope they don't do a lot of copy and paste like they did in the Infamous series. I loved the games but seeing the carbon copy buildings throughout let it down a bit.
@Demirincar Look, I think you're having a problem following your own conversation. Let me quote your very own words... "it is only a matter of time before you force them to find release often at the expense of real people." It's those real people "YOU" referenced that I'm talking about getting hurt. It's not that hard to understand.
And in answer to your question... Yes people have starved to death rather than do what you're suggesting. So again, perhaps it's the mindset of the people where you're from rather than censorship that's the issue. Perhaps you should be putting more effort into changing that.
I also think you're on another planet saying Sony's killing it's profits. They are rolling in money. $670 million profit for PlayStation alone when they announced their last financial report. Near to the end of its generation as well. Hardly a sign people with your needs, boycotting Sony, are having an impact. You're living in a Dreamworld.
As for me hurting myself, I'm not the one coming across as a creepy sweaty guy hunched over his keyboard, tissues at the ready, waiting to spot a few pixelated naughty bits in the hope they'll be enough to satiate me.
So no, I haven't hurt myself except perhaps choosing to debate something with someone who can't follow the conversation. I've already said we're not going to agree. So there's no point continuing. I won't be replying again.
I still have all mine. They all still work nicely and it was a difficult decision to choose which I liked more. In the end though I had to choose the PS2. With the Jak & Daxter series, GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas it blew my mind.
@Demirincar Hold on... are you seriously trying to tell me we should cater to the needs of rapists and child molesters and think of it as a community service? Also I'm not quite sure how you can tell me any normal sane human knows the difference between reality and fantasy, then follow that up by pretty much condoning the actions of people who inflict such acts because they were forced into the situation by censorship. Wow. Where I'm from the 'normal sane humans' know that behaviour is totally unacceptable... whatever the circumstances. Perhaps, rather than censorship, there's a far more deep rooted issue that's the cause? Because there are certainly a lot of other areas that ban pornography but don't have the same issues. Your way of thinking to me is absurd. If someone wants a Ferrari car but can't afford it so steals one we call it theft and jail them. But in your eyes if someone wants sex but can't get their kicks off of some sad game or porn it's their human right to go get it elsewhere because the situation was forced upon them? Probably best we leave this here as we're certainly never going to agree. Ps. A lot of the games you mentioned were only censored by Sony in the West, which since you're not living in the West it wouldn't affect you. So I think it's you, rather than me, peddling the fake outrage.
@Demirincar The only games Sony censor are ones which have paedophilic tendencies or would appeal to children. That's not really a mistake in my eyes. But then I'm not a paedophile. You fight your censorship cause if you want. But I guess it takes a certain kind of person advocate borderline child porn so they can get off to a load of pixels.
@TheInfantFinite I'm with you. I thought Infinite was a brilliant addition to the series. I do remember watching something about 'the Infinite we could have had' and it made such an impression on me that I can't remember a single thing about it.
@Shigurui I think there's a fair few of us 'oldies' on here. You can imagine all the eyes misting up every time Spectrums or Commodores are mentioned. Not dissimilar to what happened after spending hours writing code only to find it didn't work.
@TribalRivals Yeah, this one's a bit different. I noticed last night it had downloaded but not installed. Every other update I've had has had to be installed before I'm allowed to use network features. Not sure why this one differs.
@Nintyfan You did that on purpose didn't you? I wake up with a hangover but nicely oblivious till I see I have a notification... Guess that means another day in the pub is in order.
God damn it. Yet another announcement that's way too early. I'm going to try and forget I read this. A day down the pub should sort this out. Goodbye Bioshock 4, hello oblivion.
@GodGamer at least @JoeBlogs knows what 'The Cloud' is. I don't think you're in any position to be questioning people's intelligence! As for statements like you're more intelligent than 99% of a group you probably know less than 1% of... Wow, I wouldn't have thought it possible but your arrogance surpasses even your stupidity. All this from a person who thinks cloud servers don't exist in the physical realm. You are certainly a poster boy for the Dunning-Kruger effect.
@FullbringIchigo Same here. Where I live, out in the sticks, fibre was only installed about 4 years ago. 30mbps is certainly more than enough for online gaming but streaming games it'll struggle.
@FullbringIchigo That's basically it. Just that their box/console has far more power than we could ever hope to own at home. Where it falls apart is the wiring that connects their box to your TV. But obviously, as connection technology improves, that'll get better over time. But I think that's a fair way off for now.
@GodGamer Here's a tip, never state you studied something in college and profess to know all there is. It just implies you don't really know anything. Especially when it's preceded and followed up by inaccuracies. It's quite obvious you don't even know what the term 'The Cloud' means. ie, when you misinformed @JoeBlogs and @FullbringIchigo. Especially when the person who has it is going to put everyone else straight, so they can be just as ill informed.
@Genejoke Same here. I've been playing RDR2 Online a lot recently and enjoy the balance they've achieved. With quiet areas to stranger events happening. It doesn't feel forced or, like you say, empty.
@Ralizah But surely with the Witcher 3, and say for example RDR2, the lack of density is by design. Those two games feel real and compelling due to their lack of density. Unlike Far Cry where you're being attacked by one of the world's most endangered animals every 20 paces. It may not be your cup of tea but as far as immersion goes Witcher 3 and RDR2 nail it. But I'm with you this needs to be really dense in the same way the other two didn't.
On the other hand, try buying Sniper Elite 3 and Zombie Army Trilogy together for £7, as physical copies, new or second hand. If you're willing to wait a while the digital prices can be amazing. It's swings and roundabouts. I only buy a few games on release but don't mind paying that little extra so I don't have to wait. The rest I get later far cheaper than physical stores can manage.
@ellsworth004 Nothing wrong with getting grouchier just avoid the ageing. I've stayed age 32 for a looooong time now. (And incase Flaming_Kaiser is reading, to avoid any claims of me being ridiculous, that's a joke. I don't mean I literally stopped ageing.)

I decided to start playing RDR online again the other day. My character is a native American. I googled to see if they had introduced any new native clothing while I'd been away but found instead arguments about whether it's offensive to play as a native American. Jeez, next they'll be saying only women should be playing the Tomb Raider series. They're games, there's an element of fantasy in all of them.
@Flurpsel I'm with you. I don't like other light sources other than the TV. It can affect your perception of the colours on the screen. I suspect the people who don't mind the light bar also don't care about people getting their phones out in the cinema. So one happy camper here. Just wish they'd remove that tinny excuse for a speaker as well.
A friend of mine is addicted to this but he plays in a modded server that allows far longer play times. Not sure we'd have the ability to do that and the hoarder in me probably wouldn't be interested in the standard gameplay length.
I'm amazed how many people want wireless charging. Personally I'm against it from an eco perspective. A lot of the charge is wasted and doesn't get into the item being charged. Hardly good for the environment or your pocket.
@WanderingBullet I don't disagree. I'm in the same boat as you. So I'm hoping they'll have some PS5s at different price points for those of us who are going to be filling up those drives pretty quickly. But if they only release one model, to start, I don't see it having a large SSD unfortunately.
@WanderingBullet very unlikely to happen. 2TB SSDs are around £250. That's half the price most people seem to be willing to pay for the PS5. Sony can hardly sink 50% of the pricing into the drive and then produce a powerful machine with the other 50%.
@themcnoisy what's wrong with being a bin man or a dinner lady? The world would be a disgusting and deadly place without the former, that's for sure. Perhaps your ex didn't have much depth but at least she wasn't an elitist snob eh.
@Constable_What It's not hard to find if you put in a little effort. But here you go. http://m.goliath.com/gaming/rockstar-wont-hire-famous-actors-for-its-games-anymore-and-burt-reynolds-is-partly-to-blame/ I guess that means I'm back to not being so ignorant. Which now puts you back into which position? They also talked about it in reference to RDR2 and the Indian guy being the only famous actor they would contemplate using these days. I just found your dismissive opinion of current voice actors worthy of condescension. There are some stunning voice actors about. Rockstar for one certainly picks talent. And I'm not talking about the stars. The actors doing the voices for people walking about in GTA or RDR have always helped majorly with immersion. But hey, I'm sure they can survive on the dole if you have your way and movie stars take on both roles.

@themcnoisy what's wrong with being a bin man or a dinner lady? The world would be a disgusting and deadly place without the former, that's for sure. Perhaps your ex didn't have much depth but at least she wasn't an elitist snob eh.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Twice As Much Keanu Reeves As Initially Planned

@Lobbo95 He uses the word 'every'. That means all, not some.
