Delivered an excavator to Jönköping. After 102 days my Ziggurat Spedition trucking empire has 43 trucks.

Have reached the point where I'm just letting the game autoplay to mop up trophies so I guess I should move on. Interesting concept, average game. Could be more interesting in VR. B-Tier.

Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster
Have acquired the airship and am doing some side quests to level up prior to progressing the story.

Hollow Knight
Haven't picked this up in a few months so wandering around the Forgotten Crossroads to refamiliarise myself with the controls while grinding for geo to buy some more charms, mask shards, and vessel fragments. Bought the Gathering Swarm charm.

PowerWash Simulator VR
Doing the second job in the back yard. Only playing for 30 mins at a stretch so its going to take some time to work through this.

The Outer Worlds
Completed the main quests and all side quests in Emerald Vale.

Sony should've held off a few days on the Bluepoint closure and the news would've been buried.

I thought the story and world building was good but the NPC writing was awful. Combat system was excellent. Agree with the comments that the world felt a bit dead, but I liked one element of this which was no respawns. I like clearing out an area and having it stay cleared.

They should only adopt the Ragnarok gameplay style for the sex minigames.

@rjejr it has a third person option. I played it that way. Solid game.

Still no ability to control the day / night cycle.

@themightyant yep, gradually working my way through all the pixel remasters.

Assassin's Creed Shadows
I'm a bit of an AC stan but must admit I'm getting a bit fatigued with this game. I've platinumed both Odyssey and Valhalla so it's not like I hate the Ubisoft open world bloat, but this game is feeling very samey especially with the castles. I'll probably just mainline the golden path from here on.

I think I've seen just about everything the game has to offer and will probably move on soon.

I'm probably a third of the way through the game. It's a real step up from FF I-III in terms of narrative.

A game in which to can play as absolutely anything from a subatomic particle to a galaxy. Unique concept but not sure how long it will hold my interest.

@old_gamer74 Odyssey is fantastic but a complete time sink. If you plan to go full completionist expected to spend 150+ hours (same for Valhalla). Also play as Kassandra.

Just rolled the best credits ever. 260 out of 301 bots rescued. What a fantastic game. S-Tier.

Nothing really for me here this month but I'm still a fan of PS Plus essential - we got a lot of great games last year.

Needs a Team Cherry option.

I still want to die on the 1000xResist hill for story game of the year.

@old_gamer74 I'm probably the wrong person to ask. Black Flag is one of the few AC games that I fell off and didn't complete but most seem to love it. I plan to give it another go when the remake comes out next year.

@old_gamer74 I love all the modern Assassin's Creed games and have platinumed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage and am currently working my way through Shadows.

I would suggest Origins as a next step. Odyssey and Valhalla are great but absolute time sinks with so much content.

Atomfall above GoY is certainly an opinion.

There was at least one game every month that I either played or added to my backlog. That's good value for me.

Doing the ninth and final dungeon and I'm getting frustrated by the difficulty spike and my lack of keys. I'm facing a choice to go back and find the magical key or just quit and call it a day. I'm leaning toward the latter as I'm only playing the game to become more familiar with Zelda history.

1000xRESIST is the only one I've played. Great game if you like walking sim visual novels with superb writing and worldbuilding.

Little Nightmares
Finished the game as my Halloween game. Nice style and atmosphere but slightly fiddly platforming from fixed camera angles was a bit frustrating. Rating: B-Tier.

Completed the first four dungeons.

Not usually but decided to give it a try this year and played Little Nightmares.

I liked Avowed so will get around to this at some point after playing the original first.
