@Spiders Control and FF7R worth more than the annual sub. For me, 1 good month a year pays for the annual sub. Not like we are paying £50 every month. I think we've had several good months. The rest is a bonus, it's good for variety.

@Rob_230 Yeah I'm tempted. I was thinking about playing Persona 5 for free (part of the Plus collection) but at this price I'm very tempted to go straight to Royal.

I consider every Bethesda release on PS a bonus at this stage. Got a decent selection of new and legacy content. More than I expected we would.

Well I definitely won't be getting this day one now. As much as I love the first game. I've got plenty of games in my backlog so I'll wait for a decent discount. I spend enough on games as it is.

Couldn't see an on option for- No I'm buying the upgrade on PS5 when it's on sale.

I really want this. Love GoT and got the Plat on it. But I'm gonna vote with my wallet and wait to get it until it's a bit cheaper.

@Carl-G This is something new though. They are just using the Dreams engine to make some new content. Guess if they really wanted to, they could probably make a LBP game within Dreams right. Why spend years building this games engine and then abandon it.

@rjejr Local multiplayer up to 4 players if I remember correctly. Just no online MP at the moment. I'm sure I heard it was planned.

@huyi They built what is essentially a dev kit for the PS4. Why not make some MM games with all the years they have put into building it. I'd argue it'd be more lazy of them not make more games with it. Leaving the public to support the game while they move onto the next thing.

It also shows what can be made within Dreams, outside of what they've already built.

Big smile when I seen it was Quill. I love Moss. Hoped they would make a second one. I just hope it's compatible with the next gen PSVR.

Doom has a loooong history on PlayStation going all the way pack to PS1 so I'm hoping this is one of them Legacy titles.

@Octane Suppose it's Sony profiting from more sales, devs getting a nice buyout payment and stops them being snapped up by anyone else.

Agreed, yeah I also have the PS3 version. It's nice to be able to play on PS5 for convenience though.

@Ristar24 Nice, yeah I noticed some of the music is different for some levels too. Even in the retro mode. The bull was as far as I got in DX so far. Couldn't hit it once. I remember that was in the original but don't remember it being as difficult 😂

Can totally understand the review. As a big fan of the original I'm very happy with it myself. The ability to switch between new and original modes is a great touch. Found myself doing that a lot. I forgot how hard it is though, brutal. The infinite lives is a nice option to have for when I finally admit defeat mind.

I can't remember what I had for tea yesterday, but I still remembered that to defeat the first boss was stone and scissors and thats a 30 year old memory, it still works. If I remember correctly the second one was paper and scissors. Haven't got that far yet to say for sure.

I never did finish the game back in the day, but I got to the final boss a few times. Hopefully the infinite lives should see me finally get to the end.

I love both Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid, so this is great news to me.

Wow, I'm not one to pick on review scores but I read this review as a 10 based on the words, maybe a 9. Quite suprised to see 8 considering the flaws were the length and difficulty (which I assume playing on hard should fix) Not a criticism simply wanted to point it out. I feel like a 12 hour story is a positive and quite appealing to me. The £70 price will come down. I've played enough 30-50+ hour games lately.

This is great news. I Hate to choose but if I have to its Framerate over ray-tracing every time. 60fps with ray-tracing.... lovely. Thanks Insomniac.

I stopped playing the Remake when this PS5 version got announced so I'll be doing this and carrying on my campaign from 10-15 hours in.

Very decent price. 100% buy for me as soon as I'm home from work.

I only ever played ME2 on the PS3 but at some point I'll pick this up and hopefully find enough time to play them all through.

I put many hours into the game but after a couple of years away from NMS, whenever I try get back into it, I just find it so complicated and overwhelming.

Second hand is still an option for people who have the PS5 with the disc drive. I found someone selling Sackboy's Big Adventure like new for £30 on PS5. I generally prefer to buy new to support the devs. But, on the odd occasion when it makes sense, second hand is still an option this gen. For this reason alone, I'm sure we will get sales soon enough.

Nice. Just trying to work out the numbers. What did we get last year?....Dreams, FF7 Remake (timed), TLOU2, GoT, Miles Morales, Sackboy, and a few PSVR exclusives like Iron-man VR. Plus a couple I've probably missed so around 10 exclusives games for the year. Obviously that's with the launch of a new generation. I consider that a really good year of exclusive games.

So 25 games is probably the next 2-3 years or so sorted. Nice.

I'm a sucker for new tech so I'll be first in line. I just hope the PSVR1 games are compatible. Would be great to have that instant library of games.

I own the PS4 version, so always a download only for me anyways.

Shame to see OPM gone along with the others. I currently have a subscription so glad to see it's gonna transition to something else rather than go away completely. Looking forward to the first issue arriving.

Always amazes me how entitled some people are. PS Plus is what £50 a year tops and that's when not in a sale. This selection for May is one months worth of 12 we get. Not to mention the other benefits like discounts and the 20 Instant games collection on PS5. Not bad for around the price of 1 game.

I always look at it as 1 good month a year makes it worth the cost for the year alone.

@Papasears I think it's more a clean up on the back end. Sony get a 30% cut of games sold. Say X game sells 1 copy at £10. That's £3. And these games are likely barely selling anything. Just not worth it to them. Sony have to keep the accounts of them devs/publishers open for games that are not financially worth keep on the store for them. That's likely the case for most the older content. Thousands of games that just don't sell anymore.

I don't agree with Sony, its bad publicity, they loose a lot of trust and I think it's poor form from Sony. But at least we still have access to the games we have paid for on the store.

Very happy to hear this. I love Media Molecule and Dreams. I was worried for them considering the game didn't sell big numbers but happy to see Sony showing faith in the team.

@Grumps859 Sony will presumably have looked at the numbers and decided its not worth it. Most the older games probably hardly sells all that much and they want to have a clean up and cut off the old stuff that's just not selling. I personally think it's a bad move but I can see some logic in it. Even though i don't like it.

I just hoped Sony would find a way to bring them older games over to the PS4/PS5 Store somehow. But even then, all the licences for the games would probably be a massive headache for them.

@twitchtvpat Yes, thats why I'm going on a shopping spree on the PS3 store before they take the purchase option away.

Still have my PS3 set-up so gonna go on a digital shopping spree for some PS1 Classics on the store. It's a sad news day. At least we still have access to the games if purchased. Just hope my PS3 doesn't die any time soon.

Just seen this on the store I have an active Plus subscription and it doesn't say anything about only for new customers unless it's super hidden but surely they'd make that clear.

Also it's currently showing £15 of wallet funds not £12.50. Maybe they've updated the deal @get2sammyb ?

Love it. All the features are what I hoped for especially the 2 analogue sticks. Got a long wait but I'm very excited to try it eventually.

@Subsided Lazy people?.... Really! What a ridiculous thing to say. I have a job and a family. I spent 3 months trying to get a PS5 before I managed to get one. I spent literally hours and hours of my life wasted on websites in queues but not getting hold of one until last month. It's nothing to do with laziness.

Really enjoyed this game and the platinum was relatively straightforward. I think Sony games for the most part get the trophy list just right.

I'd definitely replay GoT again in a year or two.

@liamcroft Would a potential sequel to say Deathloop or Ghostwire Tokyo as timed console exclusive be considered as having a PlayStation legacy in a few years time? I suppose one game is not a legacy. It's gonna be interesting to see how this all pans out.

@Coltaine22 Yeah got the ps5 but haven't gotten the extension to connect them up yet.

Great to get more games announced. I hoped Sony would continue to support the system but I never expected it to get supported for this long. Fair play to Sony and all the devs for making great content. I'm glad I invested in one at launch.

With regards to PSVR2, I want to see...

A slimmer headset with less wires and no external box.

Larger field of view and better resolution.

VR without the camera requirement.

Backwards compatibility for the current VR games with a boost mode.

Analogue sticks on both the new Move controllers along with the other dualSense benefits.

And a strong line-up of games in the first 12 months.

I know Death Stranding is technically a second party game published by Sony but so is Until Dawn and that's on the list, so I think DS should be included. The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding are my picks.
