Raising the price to the rest of the world only to make it cheap in Japan doesn’t look good. Understandable why the cheaper price there, but also feels like the rest of the world are paying higher prices so they can do so

Jesus and I thought BO6 was bad. I remember the game used to create massive hype that I couldn’t even sleep at night from the excitement. Now they make such slop I forgot this one was releasing or even existed.

Can say I’m glad I’m not a CoD fan anymore. Was a massive fan during CoD4, WaW, MW1, 2, BO1 and 2 days so those will always be the best in my eyes.

Japan shows never looked interesting to me so I had very low expectations. Was watching for a bit, then muted it and then turned it off to play a game instead. Decided I’d just catch up after.

Incredible and game changer! I hope the premium is just a tester to start with as I’m not a fan of that service. Too expensive for so little. Personally I think they should add the feature to extra or all tiers to get more engagement into their ecosystem.

Premium doesn’t tempt me but Extra would.

Nope. Love the look of it and I enjoyed running around exploring Springfield but I still hate the Fortnite gameplay.

Need a new Hit and Run game! Hope Disney is watching this success but only to get new games, not an extension to Fortnite. I’d take a remake or even a remaster to start with.

I keep cross play off. None of my friends play on PC, they play on consoles. So I’ve no interest in playing against PC. The only time I’m interested in turning it on is when the game is old and lacks players. Crossplay should only be on by default for consoles only otherwise should be off by default. People looking to play with PC buddies should turn it on themselves and join their servers

I’m not happy paying for multiplayer at all but I don’t think Sony would drop it. People didn’t abandon Xbox 360 for PS3 online. They happily supported it. So I don’t think Sony will need to worry about it.

But I do think they should drop it. And only charge for PS+ for the extras including providing a great service with some bonuses.

With free to play games not requiring it, I think they could increase their numbers by making it free. Not everyone wants to pay for online so they stick to single player. But if it was free then maybe they will be more numbers for engagement.

I’m not a fan of horror but there are some I enjoy. Prefer to play something Halloween themed for Halloween times even if it’s an event for games I enjoy doing one. Infamous Festival of Blood was perfect back in the PS3 days.

I’d like to play Luigi’s Mansion that’s recently added to Nintendo Online sub as it’s my favourite of the series. But nowadays it’s hard to make time for Halloween timed games due to lack of time so I tend to focus on what I’m already playing. I’d say the Alpha Pokemon with their red creepy eyes (in Pokemon Legends ZA) is scary enough looking to be my Halloween game for this year.

I finished the campaign in the previous free trial and thought it was very disappointing. Battlefield 6 campaign reminds me of the enjoyment CoD used to give in the original MW, WaW, BO1 and BO2 did.

Sad to see what a disappointment it’s become. Have no interest in the multiplayer or zombies anymore. Zombies used to be amazing in WaW but then declined since and to put zombie missions into the campaign too, that just made dislike zombies more.

Nice! The campaign is the only part I play from CoD since I stopped playing its multiplayer years ago. Will play the campaign for free but not interested in buying BO6 or 7. Didn't buy COD since the MW2 2022 and I have my eye on Battlefield 6. My PS+ ran out so I'm waiting on a sale before I buy Battlefield 6.

I do see a lot of samely moments and it looks worse when 3rd party do it too near the same time making it a bit crowded. For example there was a lot of father and son/daughter moments. And then third party like A plages tale comes along with a sister and brother that felt more of the same.

I don’t mind the samely stuff as long as the story is good. But lately I’m feeling Sonys sequels stories are not as good as their first. The gameplays, graphics and cutscenes are superior to their first but the story of the sequels don’t hit me the same way. They are more forgettable or have less of an impact to suck me in and make me care.

Sony studios should keep doing what they do but at the same time I’d like more games that stand out to do things different like add some shooters into the mix and take a little break from that father - son/daughter moment. And I don’t mean to change the father to a mother.

No but i will someday. Reasons for why I'm not buying yet

1) price is too high for me and i'm cutting back to save money for more imortant things

2) Don't like Samauri settings. That alone put me off. Everything looks great in the game and the wolf even won me that normally I'd have bought it. But as soon as I see Samauri, I get put off. Bought the first game out of hype but that was a different time when money wasn't an issue.

3) Bad timing, takes me longer to beat a game nowadays. Pokemon is out in 2 weeks so I'm getting that instead

4) I liked the first game but didn't love it enough to play it a second time.

5) Got my fill for Samauri for now. Love the Assassin's creed games so I bought Shadow out of love for the series. Gameplay is great but Samauri was a dealbreaker and I've no interest in playing any more of it after finishing it. Wont be tocuhing the extras for that. Even Rise of the Ronin demo bored me that I didn't play past the weapon selection

Hell yeah! Sounds good to me. I'm all for an egyptian game but at the same time I'd like modern Greek ones again sometime.

I’m undecided if I’ll buy or not. I liked the first game but not enough to play it more than once. The gameplay was great but I don’t like samurai settings. Always found it to be a dealbreaker that prevents me from liking a game more.

This game and the trailers isn’t selling it to me to buy except for the wolf. For me that wolf is the only thing that makes me want it. So I think I’m more towards waiting for a steep sale or PS+

I’d love a hybrid. I do most of my gaming with the TV but being able to play handheld suits me better today than it did 5 years ago. It would help squeeze extra game time in nowadays

Battlefield for me. Haven’t been a fan of shooters or even multiplayer games in a good while now. But battlefield beta was a lot of fun and could pull me back. CoD felt so stale for a long time and i only like it for the campaign but the price puts me off buying for that.

I’ve no doubt CoD will come out on top but Battlefield will give it good competition again and be the better game imo

Great news! This was the first Tales of I played and been a big fan ever since. Was hoping for a remaster but even more, hoping for a collection with the sequel included

My feelings for the game dropped since launch. I really enjoyed the gameplay and it’s some of the best around but I’m not a fan of Samurai settings and that puts me off preventing me from really loving the game. Same goes to Assassins creed Shadow also, love the gameplay but dislike the Samurai setting.

I’d like to see them trying to put the gameplay into a Viking game or even rather they make a badass infamous game. The Samurai setting prevents me from loving the game enough to replay a second time or even to play the director's cut. Feel no hype whatsoever for the sequel either that I don’t think I will get day 1.

Started playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor yesterday. Been meaning to play it for a long time now. Will have it finished before it leaves. Had a few selections of games to choose so ended up going with that so lucky pick I guess.

I haven't played it since around launch and it remains as a 2 timed played game that I have no interest in re-playing again.

Part 1 is superior for me when it comes to the story and characters. Part 2 has a superior gameplay but when you come to THAT part, it went downhill for me that pretty much ruined the IP for a game.

My second playthrough was more enjoyable than the first play but I could never love the game like I did for the first game. Part 2 is fine for movies or the series but for a game, it became something I no longer care for and don't want a Part 3.

Really enjoyed this game. Need to download again and get some playtime in to show interest for a new game.

I paused the update but the console decided to resume anyway shortly after so mine got updated. Wish PS5 would keep it paused until I resume it myself as the PS3 and PS4 did.

Will play it when it’s cheaper. Busy with other games at the moment and the first person puts me off

I wouldn't pay that price ever. Would wait for sales and be far more selective which games I buy. Only the best of the best.

Since Nintendo doesn't do much of a worthy sale, that means I would be cutting out a LOT of purchases. No more 2D Mario, no more Yoshi's Woolly World, no more Fire Emblem, or Smash Bros, etc. Games I don't buy have a chance of being on PS+ but for Nintendo I'm okay letting a lot go

I’m not sold on it. I’m interested in the new Mario Kart but I have a short enjoyment span out of those games mainly because I’m always moving onto the next game so I don’t come back to the old anymore.

Mario kart alone isn’t enough for me to buy the new hardware and it’s the only thing to stand out, but Pokemon can certainly help get more use out of it.

Unfortunately the new price puts me off so I’m thinking i may just stick with the original switch for Pokémon and get a Switch 2 when there’s a bigger range of games. All 3rd party games will continue to be bought on PS5.

Plenty of games have been marketed as “exclusive” to a platform but they still get released on other platforms at some stage. I think it’s only a timed exclusive so will see a PS5 release sometime.

I’m happy leaving TLoU behind. Part 1 is my favourite. Even though I enjoyed part 2, it was nowhere as special and it won’t get that same greatness part 1 has. It’s not the same without Joel so for me it’s time to move onto new things

I’d never buy it digital. Not a game I care much for anyway but no physical means I’m fine waiting for a PS+ release. Don’t have enough time to play the games I have so it’s not a loss for me

Not for me. Hated the first game because I hated the character and I hated that the first game give me the fear of having my save file deleted. Would be a waste of a State of Play to show that game off. I’d rather Xbox just reveal it on Twitter

I think they are better off keeping the big IPs exclusives on PS and release lower budget games on PC and Online games day and date. Some big titles that aren’t seen as much of a mascot should make their way to PC eventually, just not titles as big as Uncharted/God of War/etc.

Don’t think I will. Not a big racer fan but wouldn’t rule it out entirely. Maybe wait for a big sale or see if they release it on PS+ sometime.

Tried it on Xbox but I didn’t use the platform enough to ever feel comfortable with the controller and the buttons got me mixed up with Nintendo so it was very off putting. On the Dualsense I suppose it will feel far more comfortable and enjoyable for me

Sony have plenty of shooter IP they could use for one. God of War is not one of those games suitable for it

I’m not willing to pay more than £60 for anything. Will wait for a sale if it’s any higher. Wait long enough and I may aswell just play certain games from PS+/GamePass instead

Gears of war for me! Hopefully it does well enough to finally get 2 and 3 ultimate editions made.

It’s bad enough paying to play early but for a Ubisoft game?!?! I enjoy a lot of their games but you’d get the better experience if you wait

Probably would have been better to have shown the game off a lot earlier instead of pushing on with the development. Could have made a better game with fans early criticism. I’m not interested in an Overwatch-alike game. I hope the developers get a chance to make a proper shooter.

Make the game free or put on PS+ to give it a boost. Then move on with the next thing. The game has already become the joke on the internet I don’t think people would care for it anymore even if they managed to turn it into an amazing game later on

Didn’t get a chance to try the beta so it’s a no from me. Not my kind of game.

I hate the silence. Don’t mind it in some games so it depends on what game it is. A handful of Nintendo’s I don’t like it. Such as Zelda games, I hate the silence of Link. It was fine for older games and handheld games but it’s time for a change.

I don’t buy the excuse leaving it up to our imagination. I think it’s just an excuse to justify cheapening out on paying for voice actors.

Pokémon is much worse though. Older games are fine. But sword/shield and violet/scarlet, the big openings and battle moments make the characters look stupid. We hear the sound of the crowd cheering but the characters have no sound. May aswell just skip the sound entirely or play in mute. There was a video up of a fan doing a voice for one of those characters and it was a night and day difference. The fan voice is far better.

If leaving it up to the player’s imagination is the reason for the silence then they should include it as an option in the game. But I’d like to see them adding voices going forward.

I'm hoping the next game is a brand new one but for the 30th anniversary I'd love to see an announcement for either collection for Xillia 1&2, Graces F, Hearts R and Abyss.

Wouldn't say I'm excited but I am looking foward to playing the campaign. It's a nice little bingeable game in a 1 month sub or take out a trial rather than buying it. Not interested in the multiplayer anymore and it will be a busy gaming season that will free me up to buy other games.

I'm not a fan of mobile games but if they made games like the PSP and Vita then I could be interested. I just don't want to see them using their main studios to make games for it and would prefer to see them partnering with others to use their IPs

Might play a few games on a dummy account just to see what the game is like but I don't want that game added to my trophy list unless it gets a platinum. Adding the platinum can excourage me to play more. Looks ugly in my collection to have 100% but no Platinum to go along with my other games

If I ever plan to take out GP someday, this would be a nice bingeable game in a 1 month/trial sub. Haven't commited to multiplayer in a long time now so I only play the campaign. Don't need to buy it now

Should have been included with the full game. Was clearly cut to be a cash grab and a "generous bonus" on GamePass. On the bright side, at least it's not made into a Golden/Royal game charging full price

Started playing the other day and it's amazing! Going to focus more on Final Fantasy but I'll try fit in a couple games a day. Took a chance on the game out of hype and I love it!

Played some of the beta and I liked the start of it because of AC Black Flag and seeing the sharks. But then after a while I have decided it's not for me. There's nothing "AAAA" about it.

Pretty game to look at in the background and water but the character looked like plastic. The hair is terrible and the gameplay feels boring. From what I played so far it just feels like a fetch this and fetch that game

I would have preferred to see Xbox completing against Sony properly with great games that makes us have to choose which platform we're going to play for that month. But Xbox lost their way with that and GP has been hurting games. The quality drops, they break games into parts and it pushes to release a broken game to get fresh meat onto the service then fix it later.

I hate the thought of games going the way of Netflix. Netflix was amazing once. Now it's just rubbish with a lot of great shows I liked either came to their end or got cancelled. It's filled with so much stuff from different countries with bad voice overs and i hate that. Bringing in ads and everything. And to make things worse, the shows or movies I want to watch, I'm stuck with the service to watch them because of the lack of DVDs. That's a future I don't want to see happening with gaming, especially when those games get removed.

On the other hand, more games is welcome even though they are not to my taste. I'll be happy enough getting to play Indiana Jones on PS5 should it come over even though I'm still disappointed with the first person.

I always thought Xbox and PS is too much of the same console that we only need one or the other unless it has exclusives you need/want. Nintendo stands out for different kind of experience. So in that case, we only need one console to exist.

At the same time I would hate to see a future where Sony takes advantage of us because only Xbox completes against it. Xbox could have been in a stronger place if they made a much bigger range of different games for different taste.
