I’ll be buying for PS5 but I won’t be paying that price and it tempts me to wait for the full version in the future or get it on sale. No interest in taking GamePass out for it or even playing this on Xbox. I get that the service is good value for Xbox but to me that’s only for people that play the platform enough which I don’t do so I feel like it’s just another subscription eating at my wallet and not getting its worth. Last time I had it for 3 years cheap and it was mainly just used for Bing points
As much as I love Naughty Dog as my favourite for Uncharted and the first Last of Us, I’ve no excitement for a Part 3 after Part 2. Was a great game but Part 1 is just unbeatable imo. Part 2 only made me dislike Ellie a lot.
Maybe they want to make Skull and Bones an expansion to this game and cancel the main project. Or take lessons with this one so AC IP is once again being used to experiment new things
People like to say Sony have too much power in gaming but MS has too much power in everything and using that power to bully their way to the top.
It’s sad to see Xbox going from playing fair to cheating their way to the top with money. What Song does is what MS and Nintendo have always done themselves too and continue to do. The only difference is MS tripped themselves during Xbox One launch and now act like they are entitled to buying their way to the front again. They don’t market their product and don’t even try to do better. Just milk their already success franchises that was invented by others before being bought.
I think the world needs to wake up and remove those heart shaped glasses to see MS for what they are. We rely too much on them like countries relying on Russian oil. Threatened UK security over the blockage of this deal. Even if they get their way, they only gain even more power and who’s going to stop them if they don’t act now.
The more they keep going on with this then the more I want nothing to do with them. I'd rather quit gaming than to ever give them a penny. They would only ruin everything anyway so there wouldn't be much of a hobby
And they are right not to share anything. Doing so would only give MS ideas to counter it and make something better than they planned themselves before they reveal their next console. That could hurt Sony more.
For Bungie, I'd say MS wouldn't have much to worry about. Bungie doesn't exactly pump games out every year while Activision does.
Xbox Series X is basically just a more powerful Xbox One. Everything is the same apart from new features and the controller just has some improvement on an Xbox One controller. No different to phone upgrades and newer phones get features older ones can't get on the same version OS. Sony however would be giving away all the things they do new. Had it been the PS5, MS would be taking notes of the Dualsense features and announcing their own before they reveal their console.
Whatever Xbox makes next, I'm betting they will just keep making another Xbox One-alike console that continues on with more muscle to it. Bungie's games and MLB just need a little update for the newer consoles that will run the same game after the new consoles launch. It's not like MS bothers trying to create a new experience. Unlike the Series, PS5 games are seperate to the PS4 ones so we get two copies with two trophy lists.
Going to play the demo a day before it launches or maybe on the day it arrives while I install the game. Don't want to start now only to wish I was still playing the rest of it
I don’t hate it and will play it because I’ve been wanting a new game for a long time. Thing I dislike the most is that it’s 2D instead of 3D. Makes it seem like it’s aimed more for phones and trying not to feel too much like Assassins Creed to avoid burnout for that series

I think Bungie should should only be a guidance to help make a game a success. If something doesn’t tick their box then work on it until it does. Even Bungie aren’t perfect. Their own game isn’t very friendly for new players or returning ones so they need some help too. They have a habit of disappointing fans too and not learning a thing from it so instead they repeat the same mistakes
I thought the show was okay. Not amazing but not entirely bad as people are making it out to be. I did think it was strange to see them doing a Showcase before Xbox. I think if the whole Activision thing wasn’t going on, we would have seen Spider-Man a year ago. Maybe two years ago. So it made sense for Sony to focus more on third party while Activision thing is going on and get to show Spider-Man now before it launches.
Perhaps we will get a first party one closer to the end of the year which can show the big titles we’re all waiting for. The best time for Sony to show their best stuff is after Xbox have shown theirs so their own games is what’s on everyone’s minds instead.
I'll believe it when I see a new Soul Sacrifice, Freedom Wars and more like ICO/SoTC/TLG games. They need more studios of their own in Japan and grow them to be as popular as their western studios
Haven't been to Spain in so many years now but I'd love to go back there someday. Been to that park multiple times in the past so it would be nice to see what's changed and ride that rollercoaster.
In the meantime I'd like my next adventure to be from a new game first

I feel bad for people that only play on Xbox. You'd think that they would like to see MS pushing Xbox and making some great Xbox games but instead many people are just cheering to have the same games we have already been getting and games that we had in the past handed to them on GP. The 360 and even early Xbox One days came out with big hits that made Xbox look good despite that rocky start XBO had. Sony may not like the news, but it will do them some good to break free from that CoD chain. They have every reason now to work harder and bring more great games to the table. MS wil survive on already successful games but they will continue to lack the talent to create anything to blow us away so they will just milk the same old, same old. It's pretty wild how much better the 360 days was to how the platform is now today that is relying on Bethesda to give it a big hit this year after so many years of disappointment.
Really loved the game and loved the setting even more. Would love to have a new game. Everything deserves another chance. If they aren't going to do anything with the IP for gaming, then they should make a TV series/movie out of it

I don't think Destiny 3 is needed. The game is already a mess as it is and making a Destiny 3 would only repeat the same problems Destiny 1 and 2 already went through.
The best thing is to scrap the 2 out of D2 name and fix the timeline. Make it so that us, the players, can choose what part of the story we want to be in and vault the rest. As we progress further, the part behind joins the vault unless we move the timeline back again (forward parts would be in the vault too until we move forward). It should be one big long game that players should be able to return back to the past and play all content owned and be able to replay the story properly.
I know doing something like that could cause issues with multiplayer stuff but multiplayer stuff could be done in the most up to date part of the timeline. It would just give players the ability to play all the content they paid for and get to replay the game as many times as we want. Perhaps add a recap of the story based on players progress for anyone that hasn't played in say a month.
The game is terrible for new players and returning ones. Fix that and there's no need for a Destiny 3.
I can't bring myself to get the game. Just feel the name is tainted after the first game so it put me off. I know it has a different studio working on this one, it's just that the first game put me off Riptide and now this. I've no faith in the original developers so they put me off Dying Light too. Probably should have given this game a new name then I'd probably be more interested. I know it's silly, it's just reading or saying that name reminds me of the things I disliked about the original
I didn't take her for being the type to be in a relationship or have romance but instead just a very strong independent woman out in the wild saving the world. She just didn't seem the type to settle or even have time for that.
But if she did then I thought it was best left to the players imagination how we want it as we have seen before there was a closeness to both ways depending on the options we picked. The actual kiss itself came off a bit like it was a forced last minute decision to show support rather than making the game as they wanted (with the love option, just no actual kiss yet until another main game). Especially with prides month coming up. If it was the intention then i think the final Horizon game would have been the best place for such a reveal. Sony's games have been coming off a bit too samely lately taking too many ideas from each other from gameplay to character stories. It feels like they are afraid to offend people so they play it safe by keeping them similar rather than making games like they used to.
I like to see things being changed up and let the writers decide what suits their story. In Uncharted we had Nate and Elena, In TlOU we had Ellie and Dina. And now we have Alloy jumping into Ellie's spotlight rather than being just seen as the independent woman that needs no man/woman, just someone out to save the world. I thought Ellie's had the better moment. Aloys just felt forced.
Speaking of acquisitions, it's disappointing Sony didn't acquire Ready at Dawn before Meta did some layoffs. They could have been really good for PSVR2 games and a wish of mine that would never come true, a new game to The Order 1886.
I'm not a fan of sport games, especially competitive ones but I would have liked to have seen Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy.
Wouldn't have expected it to feel like a sport game but instead a fun mode with a different playstyle so that flying doesn't feel the same as the open world.
I'm not a fan of cloud gaming, especially with my horrible internet. But hopefully that will change as soon as Fibre comes.
I'll only use cloud gaming when I'm not near my console. If I was to go away somewhere and had access to WiFi then I suppose I would use it. I'd never buy a cloud version of a game though.
@Agadoin Already completed everything the game has to offer. Every main mission, every side mission and even did all the collectibles. Just that one bug is keeping me from getting it. Quite a common problem too but some people have been lucky enough to find an enemy they defeated before respawn again and I haven't been lucky to find one
Playing Hogwarts Legacy at the moment trying to get my last trophy. And it's bugged. Need to kill one more infamous foe. Open world map says 18/18 and I have all of them in my journel but the challenge says 11/12. Retraced every mission that has one and even done the bonus foes and yet mine won't unlock. Guess I'm just going to have to wait for a patch. Really sucks when we put so much time into a game and this happens.
@KidBoruto For me it's one of the main reason I've kept my PS3 hooked up to the TV. There's quite a few games I'd love to return to and play again and kept meaning to if I could find the time. If we could get that port and maybe a port for some other games that are stuck to the console then I'll most likely pack my PS3 away
FF13 was my first proper Final Fantasy and I loved it a lot. FFX-2 was actually my first time playing one but I don't count it as i had no idea what it was and at the time I didn't know it's name either until after Final Fantasy 13. Rented it out so I only had 3 days to play it and I stopped when I was stuck. FF13 was the first I knew what I was getting into and finished it. Would love to see a collection for PS4&5
I don't want a remote only handheld but if that is all it is then it would need to be cheap. I wouldn't say it would be a bad device as there will be people that can benefit from it. Not everyone wants to use their phones, tablet or computer for remote play. And it would be a handy way to game when you're away from home.
Sony are losing out for not having a handheld but they need one that doesn't rely on internet. It should also be able to play all PS4 games and a downgraded PS5 game with loading screens and lower resolutions. It should also have PS+ running from it too. Run the same games that are made for the console to avoid having to split developers. Maybe give it some extra features to make handheld fun.
If remote play is all it is, then that's okay. It could do better but even a remote play is just another option that could be more convenient than having to select apps and connect your controller. It should be designed for gaming unlike the phone which would just heat up too much and then your battery dies. Perhaps an official handheld from Sony can run remote play better than our phones can.
I don't think it would matter if it sells well or not. It should be cheap and easy to make to dip into the handheld gaming. But if it can run games offline like the previous handhelds then I'd expect to see a good push with it.
No interest in remote play but I'd love to see a new handheld that plays PS4 and PS5 games. Don't mind the games being downgraded and having loading screens, the PS5 would still be the best place to play. Would love to continue playing the games when I'm not near the PS5. Would also be a great little machine to have some exclusive features that the PS5 can't do or have unique games that are better played in handheld.
I think it will be a Part 3. Need to wrap that series up and get the next game out in time for a season 4 for the TV series. If they start working on it now it should be ready before then.
Also wouldn't be a good idea leaving it too late to make it otheriwse there would be a big leap from Part 2 that they could end up remastering Part 1 and 2 just to try look as good as 3. If they can get the third game done, it will free them up to move onto new IPs.
I'm so happy it's finally over! Because now I just need to wait a little bit longer for a home media and finally get to watch it. It's been awful missing out on it every week. Didn't want to ruin it with streaming
Not surprised. I love SE games but Forspoken just didn't call out to me to get it yet. I'd like to see Square Enix try to make their own Atlus-type of games, mainly Persona which could be more open and free.

If we could get that port and maybe a port for some other games that are stuck to the console then I'll most likely pack my PS3 away

FF13 was my first proper Final Fantasy and I loved it a lot. FFX-2 was actually my first time playing one but I don't count it as i had no idea what it was and at the time I didn't know it's name either until after Final Fantasy 13. Rented it out so I only had 3 days to play it and I stopped when I was stuck. FF13 was the first I knew what I was getting into and finished it. Would love to see a collection for PS4&5

I don't want a remote only handheld but if that is all it is then it would need to be cheap. I wouldn't say it would be a bad device as there will be people that can benefit from it. Not everyone wants to use their phones, tablet or computer for remote play. And it would be a handy way to game when you're away from home.
Sony are losing out for not having a handheld but they need one that doesn't rely on internet. It should also be able to play all PS4 games and a downgraded PS5 game with loading screens and lower resolutions. It should also have PS+ running from it too. Run the same games that are made for the console to avoid having to split developers. Maybe give it some extra features to make handheld fun.
If remote play is all it is, then that's okay. It could do better but even a remote play is just another option that could be more convenient than having to select apps and connect your controller. It should be designed for gaming unlike the phone which would just heat up too much and then your battery dies. Perhaps an official handheld from Sony can run remote play better than our phones can.
I don't think it would matter if it sells well or not. It should be cheap and easy to make to dip into the handheld gaming. But if it can run games offline like the previous handhelds then I'd expect to see a good push with it.

No interest in remote play but I'd love to see a new handheld that plays PS4 and PS5 games. Don't mind the games being downgraded and having loading screens, the PS5 would still be the best place to play. Would love to continue playing the games when I'm not near the PS5. Would also be a great little machine to have some exclusive features that the PS5 can't do or have unique games that are better played in handheld.

I think it will be a Part 3. Need to wrap that series up and get the next game out in time for a season 4 for the TV series. If they start working on it now it should be ready before then.
Also wouldn't be a good idea leaving it too late to make it otheriwse there would be a big leap from Part 2 that they could end up remastering Part 1 and 2 just to try look as good as 3. If they can get the third game done, it will free them up to move onto new IPs.

I'm so happy it's finally over! Because now I just need to wait a little bit longer for a home media and finally get to watch it. It's been awful missing out on it every week. Didn't want to ruin it with streaming

Not surprised. I love SE games but Forspoken just didn't call out to me to get it yet. I'd like to see Square Enix try to make their own Atlus-type of games, mainly Persona which could be more open and free.
