Re: Destiny 3 Begins Trending on Twitter As Fans Are Fed Up with Current Game

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I don't think Destiny 3 is needed. The game is already a mess as it is and making a Destiny 3 would only repeat the same problems Destiny 1 and 2 already went through.

The best thing is to scrap the 2 out of D2 name and fix the timeline. Make it so that us, the players, can choose what part of the story we want to be in and vault the rest. As we progress further, the part behind joins the vault unless we move the timeline back again (forward parts would be in the vault too until we move forward). It should be one big long game that players should be able to return back to the past and play all content owned and be able to replay the story properly.

I know doing something like that could cause issues with multiplayer stuff but multiplayer stuff could be done in the most up to date part of the timeline. It would just give players the ability to play all the content they paid for and get to replay the game as many times as we want. Perhaps add a recap of the story based on players progress for anyone that hasn't played in say a month.

The game is terrible for new players and returning ones. Fix that and there's no need for a Destiny 3.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Dead Island 2?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I can't bring myself to get the game. Just feel the name is tainted after the first game so it put me off. I know it has a different studio working on this one, it's just that the first game put me off Riptide and now this. I've no faith in the original developers so they put me off Dying Light too. Probably should have given this game a new name then I'd probably be more interested. I know it's silly, it's just reading or saying that name reminds me of the things I disliked about the original

Re: Everyone's Talking About the End of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores on PS5

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I didn't take her for being the type to be in a relationship or have romance but instead just a very strong independent woman out in the wild saving the world. She just didn't seem the type to settle or even have time for that.

But if she did then I thought it was best left to the players imagination how we want it as we have seen before there was a closeness to both ways depending on the options we picked. The actual kiss itself came off a bit like it was a forced last minute decision to show support rather than making the game as they wanted (with the love option, just no actual kiss yet until another main game). Especially with prides month coming up. If it was the intention then i think the final Horizon game would have been the best place for such a reveal. Sony's games have been coming off a bit too samely lately taking too many ideas from each other from gameplay to character stories. It feels like they are afraid to offend people so they play it safe by keeping them similar rather than making games like they used to.

I like to see things being changed up and let the writers decide what suits their story. In Uncharted we had Nate and Elena, In TlOU we had Ellie and Dina. And now we have Alloy jumping into Ellie's spotlight rather than being just seen as the independent woman that needs no man/woman, just someone out to save the world. I thought Ellie's had the better moment. Aloys just felt forced.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 471

Beeeee-AHH-eer

@Agadoin Already completed everything the game has to offer. Every main mission, every side mission and even did all the collectibles. Just that one bug is keeping me from getting it. Quite a common problem too but some people have been lucky enough to find an enemy they defeated before respawn again and I haven't been lucky to find one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 471

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Playing Hogwarts Legacy at the moment trying to get my last trophy. And it's bugged. Need to kill one more infamous foe. Open world map says 18/18 and I have all of them in my journel but the challenge says 11/12. Retraced every mission that has one and even done the bonus foes and yet mine won't unlock. Guess I'm just going to have to wait for a patch. Really sucks when we put so much time into a game and this happens.

Re: Almost Every Mainline Final Fantasy Game Will Soon Be Playable on Current PlayStation Consoles

Beeeee-AHH-eer

FF13 was my first proper Final Fantasy and I loved it a lot. FFX-2 was actually my first time playing one but I don't count it as i had no idea what it was and at the time I didn't know it's name either until after Final Fantasy 13. Rented it out so I only had 3 days to play it and I stopped when I was stuck. FF13 was the first I knew what I was getting into and finished it. Would love to see a collection for PS4&5

Re: Most PlayStation Fans Aren't At All Sold on a PS5 Remote Play Handheld

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I don't want a remote only handheld but if that is all it is then it would need to be cheap. I wouldn't say it would be a bad device as there will be people that can benefit from it. Not everyone wants to use their phones, tablet or computer for remote play. And it would be a handy way to game when you're away from home.

Sony are losing out for not having a handheld but they need one that doesn't rely on internet. It should also be able to play all PS4 games and a downgraded PS5 game with loading screens and lower resolutions. It should also have PS+ running from it too. Run the same games that are made for the console to avoid having to split developers. Maybe give it some extra features to make handheld fun.

If remote play is all it is, then that's okay. It could do better but even a remote play is just another option that could be more convenient than having to select apps and connect your controller. It should be designed for gaming unlike the phone which would just heat up too much and then your battery dies. Perhaps an official handheld from Sony can run remote play better than our phones can.

I don't think it would matter if it sells well or not. It should be cheap and easy to make to dip into the handheld gaming. But if it can run games offline like the previous handhelds then I'd expect to see a good push with it.

Re: Talking Point: Would You Care About a PS5 Remote Play Handheld?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

No interest in remote play but I'd love to see a new handheld that plays PS4 and PS5 games. Don't mind the games being downgraded and having loading screens, the PS5 would still be the best place to play. Would love to continue playing the games when I'm not near the PS5. Would also be a great little machine to have some exclusive features that the PS5 can't do or have unique games that are better played in handheld.

Re: The Last of Us' Naughty Dog Already Working on Next PS5 Exclusive

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think it will be a Part 3. Need to wrap that series up and get the next game out in time for a season 4 for the TV series. If they start working on it now it should be ready before then.

Also wouldn't be a good idea leaving it too late to make it otheriwse there would be a big leap from Part 2 that they could end up remastering Part 1 and 2 just to try look as good as 3. If they can get the third game done, it will free them up to move onto new IPs.

Re: Some PS5 Fans Think This New Firmware Feature Is a Potential Spoiler

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think it's both good and bad. If it's a really good game that you're happy to get sucked into, it's nice not knowing how far you are or how much more is still to go. It can be a bit of a distraction from enjoying the game by knowing that info.

If it's a game you're not enjoying enough but want to finish it then it's a good feature to help us know how much more is there still to go and if it's even worth finishing it.

The option to hide would be a good idea. I like it so I hope they don't remove it

Re: What Year Is It? There's a New PS3 Firmware Update Out Now

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I have two PS3s still connected to the TV. One of them was in my room and i moved it to my main TV as I felt like playing some games on it. Never got round to doing so due to PS4 and PS5 taking up my time.

The second PS3 is kept offline. Didn't update it because of that previous update breaking that feature to transfer games to the Vita. Didn't fully understand it if I need the internet or not for that to work so I left it offline to keep that feature on incase I ever needed it. No idea if it would even work.

Re: The Response to Rocksteady's Suicide Squad Has Been Abysmal

Beeeee-AHH-eer

It's very sad to see they went from the Arkham games to this. I always thought it was strange that Rocksteady was working on this while WB Games did Gotham Knights.

It should have been the other way and if Rocksteady had done Gotham Knights then they could have done a much better job. It could have been a lot like their Batman games.

Re: Xbox Series X|S Is Getting Trounced by PS5, Microsoft Weirdly Reveals

Beeeee-AHH-eer

It's like two little children in school, one of them works hard, does their homework, and pays attention in class. The other misbehaves, gets lazy, falls asleep and then cries to the teacher it's unfair the other student is doing better so they deserve to buy someone elses work for success.

MS should be working harder if they want to do better. Market their product better too. We've all seen the recent PS5 news marketing Sony has been doing and that cost millions. Compare that with Phil taking a picture of the Series S while he's in Brussels

Re: Returnal Is Sony's Second Most Unpopular PC Game at Launch

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I can't help but think the game would have been much better if it wasn't roguelike and wasn't difficult. Those are the two things that put me off, but the roguelike alone completly lost me.

I tried it from Extra tier so I liked how it looked and played. It looked like it could have been Sonys own Mass Effect-alike game But once I met my first tough enemy and died, I switched it off and never touched it again. Only wanted to get a taste of it to see if i can accept the roguelike but no it doesn't work for me.

Re: Call of Duty Is the Main Reason People Buy PS5, PS4, Says New Survey

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I'm not really surprised at all. Back in the PS3 days I stopped playing a lot of games when CoD4 came along. Played that game every day until CoD WAW came along and even then I still jumped onto CoD4 for it's MP. Spent a lot of time on MW2 too. Not as much as CoD4 but was still a lot. Missed out on a lot of games because I was hooked to the first Resistance game too.

The only reason why I'm not much of a CoD player anymore (only like the single player now) is because I've outgrown them and I'm burned out. They will never have that CoD4 greatness again.

Since then I've found myself preferring a lot of other games instead. My taste in genres grew a lot after I had my taste of Ni No Kuni, my first JRPG. The older I get the more I've moved away from it. I'd say many new and younger players today would have that same enjoyment as I once had.

Re: Talking Point: Should Sony Be Worried by Live Service Implosion?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I don't think they have to worry about much as they are great at what they do. But I feel most of their projects will be short lived, especially Twisted Metal. Live service games doesn't mean it will be bad if they do it right. It's it's made pay to win then I'd glady skip it.

Not sure what to think of The Last of Us factions. I've enjoyed the multiplayer in the original game but I think this multiplayer game is one I'll end up dropping pretty quickly. Having too many games doesn't leave enough time for something like that so it has to something to keep me hooked.

Killzone and Resistance would be my safe bet. They can always be supported with new maps and maybe add in Co-op story missions. They would be good to jump on from time to time, easy to pick up and play without needing to try remember how it's played. Shadow Fall still had real players up to the end.

Gaas would need to be on as many platforms as possible. Make a new handheld and get the game on that too or make a phone version
