Glad I got rid of premium, nothing for me overall this month.

If true then expected then to announce it at the January or February State of play.

They got to release it before gta 6 if they want to release it on PlayStation this year.

Who ever decides which classic games come to premium absolutely sucks at their job. Sony has so many first party games alone that should be in the catalog by now.

@SeanOhOgain kind of just hoping for it, thought the premise and world was cool. Plus Santa Monica did help work on the original. As much as I love the god of war series, really want to see what they can do with another IP.

Herman being replaced would be awesome, not sure who would be a good replacement though, don't think they could get Shu back. My predictions:
1 Sony first party games has a great year of releases: Saros, ghost legends 2, MLB, marvel tokon, wolverine and the 2d god of war (which is critically acclaimed). Also more ports death stranding 2 PC and helldivers 2 switch 2.
2. Sony announces a good amount of new games this year: god of war 2d (god of war classics games will also be announced), Cory Barlogs game (the order reboot), horizon co-op game, 2nd party titles (sumo and Stellar entertain), and lfg game.
3. PlayStation showcase returns
4. Naughty dog reveals gameplay of intergalactic (either at summer game fest or tga)

Epic mickey been fun, good game to turn your brain off and put on a podcast.

Curious to see if during this developer direct that that not only about fable as day and date but also announce that forza will now also be day and date

@SMJ I have a PlayStation 5 so I have an Xbox, the games just don't work for some reason?

Would love to see some of the older Xbox games get PS5 ports like the original fable and sunset overdrive.

@RadioHedgeFund I think Microsoft is probably going to be one of the ai companies that survives. I think we're probably see minimal of 3 and maximal of 5 ai companies that will control the market

@Uromastryx yeah, if Microsoft wasn't a trillion dollar company I think they would have called it quits long ago.

I think they will release the next Xbox with the rumored steam integration, but it will be pricey and end up selling poorly with Microsoft eventual announcement of their exit from the console market

@AhmadSumadi it might go down to 30-40 next year but I wouldn't count on price drops anymore, Sony has taken a page out of Nintendo this gen when it comes to almost never lowering the price of their first party games

Don't be surprised to see Sony do more of these acquisitions,their CEO said they wanted more IPs.

I'm all for it if it reduces the development time from 7-5 to 3 years max. These AAA games are taking too long to develop.

Really surprising for the switch 2 not selling great in November in it's first year of release

2026 should be pretty big for their mobile push.

@BearsEatBeets i wouldn't mind but Sony has been so quiet this gen, it's a real shame. I'm hoping that his next game a a pretty big one, that might be why it's taking so long. Would love to see what Santa Monica could do with a open world rpg like the witcher 3, or just a different IP than god of war (gow is my favorite franchise), but really want to see what they could do with something different. Even reviving the order would be awesome.

Sadly nothing shown was anything I was interested in. Was hoping to see the god of war 2d game, but Sony decided to not to show any games for the gow 20th anniversary.

@twitchtvpat well yeah that why they stopped doing e3. The joke is the only reason people watch the awards is because of the announcements, that the publisher have to pay for.

@get2sammyb just funny that's it's the only reason people actually watch it.
