At this point steam is a likey option for me. I like physical games, but if it goes all digital I can get steam games a lot cheaper then PlayStation, I like first party PlayStation games but there output this gen has be a disgrace, and with steam wouldn't have to pay for online.

@Stragen8 I agree, they have a great output and Sony needs an RPG studio.

Pretty obvious when it's going to be a PC.

They did the same thing when they closed bluepoint. They stay off of social media to try and by past the storm, but people need to not let up on this.

Man the more and more that comes out it sounds like it's going to be a lot more than just 4 or 5 studios that end up shutting down. I know they were trying to find buyers but almost no one is buying game studios anymore. Really wonder if this will be the last straw for xbox fans.

Gta 6 will push PlayStation over 100 million consoles sold, but don't know how much higher it will get. Console prices are insane now.

Should have gave them the last of us multiplayer to finish since it's was close to being finished anyway.

@themightyant when it comes to first party you have to think a good majority is the hardcore base which is a good amount who prefer physical over digital already. With gta 6 there's a ton of casuals who will just buy the easier more convenient option (digital). I actually prefer physical, but it's looking very dim for us. The younger generation is moving to an all digital future, my fear is that it will get to a point where we don't even have the digital copy, but just a streaming pass to it.

Honestly don't think take two care. Physical sales are rapidly declining, would have referred buying physical on disc, but can see take two point in not wanting any leaks before the launch.

I mean it really is the only game that justifies that price tag with a rumor budget of 2 billion. Alot more deserving than Mario kart world.

Thing is DOA, bad time to launch. They can't rely on their hardcore base who.desire the top line in tech and they out priced themselves for the casuals.

@themightyant I really think once they show the gameplay of gta 6, it's probably going to overshadow all of the upcoming games this year. When the game comes out I think a lot of people will be calling off work and businesses will be short staffed lol.

I mean god of war is PlayStations biggest franchise. Also think it's going to get a release date announced at the state of play in September for a march or April 2027 date.

At this point, some of these games might want to move to January or February.

Game looks great will probably be in the top ten best selling of the year. Gta 6 will naturally take spot 1. Am curious to see how many people make the jump to PS5 from PS4 which might actually help improve sales of wolverine as well
