Herman is the dumbest person in the gaming industry. He could have easily spinned the team off (like team lfg from Bungie} or even given it to another studio first or second to finish and maintain. The one live service that was destined for success and he cancels it.

Xbox fans keep believe the same crap over and over. Microsoft is not going back to exclusives, they're basically waving the white flag by making a "console" that can support multiple store fronts. What I don't see many people talking about is how that's going to impact gamepass numbers, a lot of subscribers have it just for online play and once they can buy their game on the steam store and play online for free why would they keep gamepass?

Sony probably has a contract, not sure for how long. Would have been a smart purchase by Sony but after closing bluepoint I don't think Sony makes smart moves anymore.

@3Above yeah but was giving a modern example, don't think Sony nor sega really cares about a perceived rivalry though.

Smartest thing they could do right now is change the character models, that might help them avoid the Concord outcome

Sony should get them to make a PlayStation survivors, plays as kratos, drake, ect.would be fun

@get2sammyb what crazy is the movie is probably going to give it a big bump as well. Really think we're see helldivers 3 eventually with a bigger scope and a good engine. Still think it's being made right now by people can fly.

Really surprised they haven't added this game to plus yet. I know it still sells good on PC but I think if they added it to plus the numbers of players we be massive like when it first launched.

@Scottyy last state of play was pretty great though and this next one has a lot of potential with wolverine and the fraye god of war game rumored.

Game looks really interesting, but at this point might be PS5's deep down.

@DennisReynolds Herman really needs to be fired. They have so many ips that could be bought back like socom, killzone or resistance that would at least give the live service some attention from those fanbases whereas this game is doa.

To think of all the games that got cancelled and for this to still be alive is so shameful.

That's a lot of gamers potentially set to upgrade to PS5 when gta 6 drops. I expect a price drop (ie back to the original price) when gta 6 launches for a couple of weeks to try to get people to switch over

@KoopaTheGamer actually even before that Sony had the instant game collection on PlayStation plus back on ps3.

They destroyed sales of all of their games by putting them on game pass day one.

Might have to pick this up, got the mgs 4 limited collector addition back in 2008 as well.

Hopefully this happens in all the countries. These companies need to realize charging this much for a 5 year old console is ridiculous. Consoles are sold at a loss, but games sales and subscriptions make up for it that's how it's always been.

@AdamNovice that is the last game left to not be released yet once pragmata releases that was revealed during the PS5 reveal. Have a feeling it might end up like deep down.

Should be pretty good, cory barlog game fraye is rumored to be reveal, along with more wolverine. Kena 2 will probably get a release date. New ps plus games, hopefully more smaller first party games. The rest of tokon will be revealed. I think intergalactic will be saved for the game awards.
